Calling Bikers for Ron Paul

I found that Bikers N Outlaws, which is a great site for bikers... sponsors Ron Paul... or at least talks about him on there. Also, there is a MySpace page called Bikers for Ron Paul, but I don't have the link to it. Sure it's easy to look up. We have a truck stop here in East TN that i'm trying to get to put up a sign for Truckers4RonPaul and if you find out any info about there being something setup with Bikers, let me know... we have some biker clubs here too.

Any information available on riders supporting Ron Paul would be appreciated. I am from Louisiana and belong to the Baton Rouge Ron Paul Meetup. One of our projects is to get the biking community involved. We will be putting together a DVD/U-Tube video promoting Ron Paul. I would like this to focus on issues important to bikers. (Freedom, Government intrusion, etc.)Where does the biking community want the government to be or not to be in our lives. Once I have ample issues then I will market Ron Pauls answers to fit this agenda.

Any help provided would be appreciated.

Is anyone riding in the trail of tears? The ride is from Chattanooga TN to Florence AL.
We are going to be putting signs and banners up along the route and thought it would be great to have some bikes with signs riding as well. There will be a lot of people watching. I do not remember the number, but it's a big area attraction. There will be an estimated 200,000 bikes riding this year. This might give some idea of the turn out.

Thanks to one of the members of my Meet Up Group (Space Coast), I put two "Hope for America" bumper stickers on my Ultra before riding to the National HOG Rally in Knoxville, Tenn. I had a number of people come up and ask me about Dr. Paul nearly everywhere I stopped. I had some slim jims and business card press for Dr. Paul and got to pass them out, introducing more people to Dr. Paul as I rode around on vacation.

Those signs look slick on there! I'll keep you informed about the Freedom Ride for Ron Paul. Any input or ideas would be appreciated.

The ride will depend on all of the available riders and their location in the U.S. Depending on location or the potential for riders to meetup in a central location, we will have to decide the starting and ending points.

There will most likely be several groups that meetup in their respective states and ride to the capital or to Washington. It would be great to get many medium sized groups to trek America across many highways and ideally meetup in Washington.

So, the plan at the moment is to hunt down as many freedom riders as possible and discuss the best plans for everyone.

Do you know of a biker web site for Ron Paul? There is a truckers4ronpaul.org and I added that to my trucker poster tags. Plus the put it up on the site so truckers could download it to put up in truck stops. If you know of a bikers4ronpaul site please let me know.

I'm not a biker but how great would it be if the Bikers could carry the
Constitution and a flag across the country maybe passing it off from one group to another and delivering it to RON PAUL in Washington. Maybe there could be stops along the way to pick up donations.

attached is a pic of our bikes at the south carolina events. we have a great system for rigging yard signs to the bikes.

A flag flying for Paul would be awesome! Those are the creative ideas that we need. So far, I have contacted a few rider's sites where I will hunt down more riders. I'm sure you will be able to find more riders in your area and that more will join.

I will shortly try and contact all of the meetup groups and search out riders from every area. I think if riders head toward their state capitals and some to Washington that a wonderful statement will be made. All options are on the table based on the response. Also, there is the idea of riders handing off a batton message or multiple messages passed from patriot hand to patriot hand, and to be read on the steps of each capital or Washinton, and so on.

I think this should take less than one month to completely organize. So, get that Ron Paul flag ready! I'll keep in touch and keep the forum for the Freedom Riders for Ron Paul on dailypaul.com opened and active.

Go to Sputnik's web page: http://www.terry-g.net/sp... and e-mail him. I worked with Sputnik on issues in the Texas Legislature. He is dynamite and has a national network at his disposal. His organization is the Texas Motorcycle Rights Association. He and bikers were a big part of getting one unknown Congresswoman elected in Texas and lobbyed for and defeated the then existing helmut law in Texas. You may agree with this position or not but in either case he is dynamite if he takes on an issue. I am retired now but knowing Sputnik, it wouldn't surprise me if he isn't already a Ron Paul supporter. If he isn't, when Ron's positions are presented to him, I bet he will be.

Good luck. He will be a tremendous asset in organizing this ride if he is on board.

I would be willing to ride my Harley for Ron.

Would love to be able to ride!! But *sigh* I do have other responsibilities at this time in my life. BUT, I will help spread the word. I can copy your post to Beginner Triatlete, and there must be other cycling sites people know of, as well as local bike shops, cycling stores online, etc.
