they DO support the doc (we are all delegates) but they all definitely think i am
over the top with my relentless devotion to the good doctor.

Tell her the truth is just too refreshing coming from a person like Paul who is in politics. It is just so awesome you can't get enough of it. Especially when you can deal with the after shock of being out of the "matrix".

We "Paul-a-holics" need to stick together and keep hope alive!

In order to keep Ron Paul's new book near the top of the booksellers' lists, we can all purchase multiple copies for distribution, gifts,etc. But, something else we can do is to call, visit, or go to the website for our local libraries and request the book. If we are able to check out a book, we'll have one more of our own personal copies that we can loan to family members and friends to read while we use the library's copy. (When you return the book, be sure to recommend it to the librarians!) Then, because of the amount of interest in the book, the libraries will order more to put on their shelves. Also, request the "audio book"!

We can also call our local book sellers and ask if they have the book in stock, what is the price, etc., so that they will perceive a great interest and also stock more of them. At the very least, we will stimulate the curiosity of the clerks and librarians regarding the book!

Fortunately for me (I guess...) I've been divorced from a my wife 2 years now. With this comes something else in mind... someone should start a dating site for paulaholics. The only problem I see is there aren't enough females to accomodate that many men.
Any ideas?

of which, the only cure is the good Dr's message. My wife thinks I'm nuts, because I give my 4 and 6 year old a quarter each time they answer the following questions-Why are gas prices so high? "Because the dollar is losing value caused by the FED." What is the supreme law of the land? "The Constitution." That's not brainwashing is it?

Note: unlike the 12 steps for alcoholics, which are designed to help people get away from alcohol and its effects, the 12 steps for Paulaholics are designed to help get people get closer to the ideals of Ron Paul and the effects of liberty.

The Twelve Steps for Paulaholics:

1. We admitted we were powerless over corruption in the power-hungry as long as we remained apathetic —that our lives individually and as a nation had become unmanageable because we idly stood by while they wove their evil machinations.

2. Came to believe that a Power (the rule of law as laid out in the Constitution) greater than the rule of man, could restore our nation to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to following the Constitution as we understood it (since we've finally read and studied it).

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our voting decisions and political activism (or the lack thereof).

5. Admitted to God/FSM/NoneOfTheAbove, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our failing to see the light sooner than this. ("I was once a dumb sheeple, too...")

6. Were entirely ready to allow our strict adherence to the Constitution to remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked fellow patriots to help educate and encourage us, thereby helping to remove our shortcomings and strengthen our resolve in the r3volution.

8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all (which would be our entire nation, and all the countries we've negatively impacted, by not standing up for what's right).

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, by becoming fully involved in restoring a Constitutional republic to our land.

10. Continued to take personal responsibility for the restoration of liberty, and when we started to slack off, promptly reminded ourselves of the reasons for the fight.

11. Sought through education and activism to improve our conscious support and furtherance of liberty as we understood it, seeking knowledge of the Constitution and the power to carry it out.

12. Having had a Constitutional awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

If I dont get to read the posts everyday and let off a little steam, I start jonesing and I am real Biotch. Believe it our not, this is where I find solace amongst some of the finest minds out there and I have truly learned alot.
