Ron Paul is no longer a "fringe" candidate (nor has he ever been). It's time for Ron to take the reins when being interviewed by old media. Should a televised or radio interview turn out to be another set-up "hit piece," I would hope that Ron would have the dignity to politely explain himself, take the microphone off his lapel, and promptly excuse himself from the interview by walking off stage (and gaining a few thousand votes in the process). Yes!

Ron Paul's message for a free America deserves to be heard in an enlightened media.

OK let's watch for these. Remember, what president did the most outrageous controversial things in the oval office and now is the most popular democrat? Hint: he has a wife who did things bordering on criminal for which she was never prosecuted and who continues to flip flop and say controversial things and yet, she is the democrat front runner.

Hope Ron will be as controversial as he wishes - it will get him more exposure.

Both will probably give him a chance to expound on his Lincoln response. Hey, this is a GOOD THING! Remember when Huckabee made his comments about GW and got about a WEEK'S worth of FREE advertising on those follow-up interviews?

I f asked about Lincoln and the civil war Ron should point out that Lincoln was brilliant in one respect. He financed the war with greenbacks, money issued directly from the treasury, that carried no interest. He effectively cut the New York bankers out of the picture and their hopes for charging interest rates of up to 30%. We could do the same today by issuing U.S. notes. This would eliminate the interest we pay for the priviledge of having the Federal Reserve create additional money to finance the war.

Watch out for them.

The pretext of the days "top stories" provides CNN plausible deniability for the subliminal messages they seem to like to flash.

Make no mistake. Words flashed behind Dr. Paul or anyone being interviewed can be arranged to have a subliminal effect.

Notice how CNN sparingly mentions Ron Paul at all and when they do, it's a smear. They do interviews with him so they can attack him directly, ask questions and try to trap him, because their smear campaign can only go so for. The media needs something hard they can use against Ron Paul and because they can't find anything from his past, they'll attempt to reveal something during the interviews.

1. Do you really want to suspend all funds to Israel
2. Do you really believe Israel is asking the US to attack Iran
3. He will ask him about his Civil War statement
4. He will ask him what are the chances that he runs as a 3rd party candidate

I'll bet Wolfie asks if Dr Paul will run as a third party candidate, it is one of the standard "must ask" questions by MSM lackies..

I want to hear him ask that question. Dr. Paul often says things that make me question and rethink many of the conventional wisdom behind certain institutions and policies. I for one, have never heard his view on Lincoln, 650,000 dead Americans, slavery and the civil war before, and it blew me away and almost made my head explode. Let me be clear, I'm not offended by what Dr. Paul said. I feel like I'm waking up and becoming more aware of the world around me. It's a little scary and hard because I'm surrounded by people that are still a sleep or blissfully unaware and there are even some that become angry with me because they hear the things that I'm finding out and don't want to be disrupted from their everyday routine.

So, Blitzer, please ask about Abe Lincoln, ask about the Bull Moose party, ask about the Federal Reserve and the unaudited Fort Knox. I'm eagerly waiting for another Ron Paul history/philosophy lesson at the SchoolofRon.

I think these guys are starting to sense that Ron Paul is for real, and he's here to stay. They've all seen the replays of their own stupid remarks and crass journalism when interviewing Dr. Paul. Ron's truth and clarity leaves them all wondering "what just hit me?" I'm lookingforward to much more respectful interviews now that they've seen Ron Paul's command of history, and economic issues. It's taken a long time for these media groupies to realize that you just can't "spin" the truth.
