Christians they would say yes. Not to dis faithful people, its just to say this is how many people deceive themselves or from the faithful point of view Satan has fooled them or even more they are not the elect? However, true Christians understand there is no free will! You can't choose Christ! The fact that 99% of the churches out there preach on accepting Christ into your life is a major false teaching accepted as what the bible teaches. THIS IS AN ARMINIAN STANCE. If you are unfamiliar with Jacob Arminian I suggest you GOOGLE: Synod of Dort and look up Christian History or even look up Pelagius! This is just a few of many debates of the issue of "Man's Free Will” What’s that old saying, “if you don't know your history you are doomed to repeat it?" Well this is what has happened to today’s "so called" Christianity. The real debate is the 700 club people really Christians? If you read the bible and listened to church history the answer would be quite evident. NO.(This is just a snap irrelevent judgement on my part based on the fruit of this program) However it is not up to us to know for sure or for us to critique each other! Christ knows, but we are to judge our friends (fellow believers) by their fruit. It is up to us to spread the good word! Tell others of the truth that the Bible teaches. Pat Robertson may be a very faithful man, however he is not a Christian judging him by his fruit and basing our judgments on what Christian traits are, described in the Bible. You may ask yourself how dare you call that man or me a non Christian! I'm not! But I'm telling you what the Bible tells you. Make you calling and election sure! Well how do you do that? Do you study the Bible and/or the Greek Lexicon to know what the word ALL means? For instance, in Greek the word all sometimes means "ALL OF SOME SORT" like, "All those pieces of gum(People) in that package" not "all pieces of gum(People)." Not to say Pat doesn’t study but he is missing a huge part and is misunderstanding a major part of God's word. In a nut shell "YOU ARE DEAD AND ONLY GOD CAN MAKE YOU ALIVE OR REBIRTH! So in this equation where is your CHOICE? Most people will say that God is in control of everything but then in the very next question they will say they have to accept Christ into you life to be saved. FALSENESS! Not to get into a Biblical debate but I'm not surprised Pat Robertson endorsed Julianne! It’s just like our American History nobody studies it or cares about it but will make all sorts of decisions based on what the masses are doing or what they hear and accept as truth! Well I'm just saying today’s so-called Christianity in this sense is the same? They feel they have to do something in order to earn favor (do something to get something). In reality based on scripture and scripture alone. Once it’s given by God it will not be taken away by him! YOU CAN NOT LOOSE YOUR SALVATION! GOD IS NOT A GOD OF CHANCE! I think Pat just got a zillion calls about his sinful endorsement of Rudy. A lot of 700 Club Supporters are true Christians but are just sometimes not thorough thinkers. AS are a lot of Americans.

Well, it's good publicity for Ron Paul, even though it's from "My-dad's-influence-got-me-out-of-the-front-lines during-the-Korea-War" Pat. I personally think Pat is jealous of Ron Paul's fund raising ability, and wants to get on his good side to find out how he does it.

Is going to be happy about this ! That was as close to an endorsement as you can hope for. This will thin the Huck Herd.

Robertson likely got hammered by the faithful for his Giuliani endorsement and thus is making amends to the flock by highlighting Ron.

The 700 Club has a tremendous following especially with older Americans. The Christian voting base is needed.This was not just a good thing ....but a great thing!!!.

It used to be that the church and charity went hand in hand. Then government jumped in and took over the charity market. If Ron Paul wins, the government drops out of running charities and leaves that market to the 700 club.

As a practical matter, Robertson can improve his standing in the community if Paul wins.

Have been having a good laugh about this. Money talks. And Robertson needs paying people. So he can't be on the losing side.

He can't endorse Ron Paul more than this - since he already endorsed Julie-Anne! But note that even when he mentioned other candidates, he talked about McCain and NOT Julie-Annie!

Watch how many others see where the tide is going and want to be seen as having supported Ron Paul. It would be interesting to know if any 700 Club members wrote to Pat saying they would stop donating if he didn't do something about Ron Paul!

Couldn't care less about what "Pat" personally thinks, one way or the other, but the STORY on Ron that was done on the "700 Club" was GREAT!

Its quite likely that Pat and Co want to talk about him so that if RP does well, they can be there to jump on the bandwagon. All this is, is a positioning move for the minds of those who follow him. You notice all he does is point out his positions and says NOTHING negative except that he may not win. It says alot that he would comment on it. Its also an overture to the RP supporters saying "I am watching and may be interested in joining if your campaign continues to surprise and succeed".

Personally, I don't like Pat at all. That however has nothing to do with the facts.

So to conclude, it means that Pat is positioning himself to Ride the RP drive if it succeeds on its own. Thats why these early primaries THIS YEAR, are so important. RP like it or not is perceived by many people to be a long shot.

Therefore if he surprises people, I'm sure Pat would like to convince himself of being in position to play a "kingmaker" role of sorts that could bring RP many votes (perhaps). Not that he would, but its important to understand the kind of strategy and thinking that goes into this whole process. No "group" wants to be out of power, especially if they can tag along to the new frontrunner, whoever he/she is.

It often can be subtle. Its definitely worth watching Pat Robertson if only to see what he is saying. I personally don't like the guy but I guarantee you the Christian right does not want to be left out of power if the Neocon wing of the Republican Party goes down in Flames.

I think conservative Christians are a natural constituency for RP - most of them understand that a big welfare state is de-moralising in every sense. And he obviously disapproves of abortion more sincerely than the rest, except maybe Huckabee (to be fair). He just takes the constitutional line on it - it's a state issue.

This is great. Don't you wish ABC, NBC, and CBS ran stories like this on the evening news that went beyond "Paul raised a bunch of money from internet geeks yesterday -- now let's check out how Wall Street did today!" I think the best part is that the type of audience that watches The 700 Club is a demographic the RP campaign hasn't broken into in great numbers. This is very good exposure!

Now that Dr. Paul has taken off, Pat Roberton is willing to acknowledge it and talk about it. But before Dr. Paul reached so much popularity, Pat Robertson did not have the integrity it takes to back someone on principle. No, he endorse Mitt and got all kinds of heat for it. That is what I mean. Dr. Ron Paul has had integrity for years in the Congress standing up against everyone, but individual voters don't have as much integrity in their little fingers to stand up for someone they KNOW is in the right if they don't think enough other people are going to do it. He endorsed Mitt Romney simply because he wanted to back "the winner" instead of because he supported him on the issues. I consider this cowardly and am very dissappointed about it. He admits he knew Dr. Paul and still endorsed Mitt. Inconceivable. When are we going to find the courage of our convictions? This is what I run into out working for the vote also.

considering Pat endorsed Rudy......go figure that one out. I'm sensing that many of these folks who thought Ron Paul would implode are now realizing that ain't going to happen. So, they'll throwing a little offer of friendship his way......and that's a good thing. Maybe more and more will come on board!
