you know Bush is just eating this up.. this has fueled his "War on Terror" even more! this may not have needed to be such a shock to sheeple-america, had it not been for distractions in the media, maybe we'd know more about these things if the Neo-Cons didn't filter every damn thing we take in..
this disgusts me so much. i'll bet anything this has everything to do with the CIA, etc.

I tend to believe our intelligence agencies knew something. The security was poor at best. If we didn't have our fingers in every mess people may actually believe we didn't play a part....but no such luck.

The War candidates may feel this could be an advantage for them, but I suggest it's one more opportunity. Ron Paul just minutes before the announcement on MSNBC had pointed out Pakistan could "blowup".

This is bad news, but not just because she has been assasinated. The bad news is that a nuclear country has become destabilized which will probably used as justification for another "preemptive" war.

Bhuttos track record was pretty sketchy to claim she was standing up to anything. It looked more like a play to take power for herself than to help anyone in Pakistan.

God help them now though.

Let this example go to show everyone what the NSA, CIA, FBI, ISI, etc., can and will do to kill off people. This is no doubt happen here against the man "We the People" desire to be in the White House. I love and support Ron Paul just as I 100% love and believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savyour. However the dark side wants no part of this and will destroy any and all those that stand in his dark path. Trust in Our Hevenly Father and for Ron Paul's safety. Bhutto was apparently a statist, establishment minded, and empire seeking.

The real terrorists are the ones in office and Pakistan is the US establishments little friend just like Bhutto, Musharraf and whomever else agrees with the CFP and ducks out on their own country for eight years

I just heard them talking about this on Al Jazeera English.

Key point made was that this is "another example of how U.S. intervention has negative consequences" (referring to the U.S. propping her up, along with Britain).

I have spoken about Bhutto with Pakistani friends in recent months, and all of them were against having her returning to Pakistan in any leadership role.

Her and her father were totally corrupt, stole millions from their country, and they could not believe she would have the audacity to return. And this also fueled resentment against the U.S. and Britain for supporting someone who did so much harm to their country.

Regardless of what anyone wants to say about her, she stood up against tyranny and she died for it. Our tyrants will no doubt try to spin this in such a way as to make us even more frightened of "terrorists". My guess is that it was ISI or CIA who killed her. To hell with both of them.

Ask anybody from Pakistan and they will tell you that Bhutto, and her father (former Pakistani PM) have always been supported and more so spoon fed to the Pakistani people by international interests. It was largely accepted that Benazir's return was a means of pretending to the Pakistani people that they may still have had some control of their political destiny over and above the US sponsored military dictatorship of Mussharaf.
Also we must not forget that her father created the Pakistani socialist party the PPP, and when he lost the general election, forced the majority to relinquish power under threat of force.
It may be entirely possible that someone from the general public, who is sick of the hundreds of years of international intervention in India/Pakistan/Kasmir may have committed this crime a a means of staving of tyranny.
The reason that I suggest this is because the "West" had more to gain from her being alive than dead.

Dr. Paul MUST prevail! ENOUGH with entanglements! ENOUGH with the killings!

I'm not so sure Bhutto was a perfect angel of freedom. This is not to excuse Mush, Bush, or any of the other players in this drama. There's very likely an Evildoer 1 vs. Evildoer 2 aspect to this situation.

I just heard my neocon neighbors in the hallway screaming, something along the lines of "It's time to go into Pakistan, take out Musharraf and Bin Laden!"...

Will our rulers use this as an excuse to send American forces into Pakistan as a NATO, UN, Bi-Lateral or Unilateral mission?

How long before some Neo-Con suggests it?

This is not only a huge tragedy for any hopes of a real democracy in Pakistan, it will cause the neo-cons to salivate over more bloodshed tied to terrorism. Now, Musharef can re-institute the state of emergency, permanently post-poning any elections and cry to the US for aid with his Al Qaeda problem. Watch the neo-cons offer US troops to re-establish order in Pakistan or hunt AQ in the tribal lands.
