#2 article is good too:

The Houston Chronicle is

obviously not supporting Perry. I love how most of the articles about Perry are horrible publicity for him, but all of the Paul articles are definitely in Paul's favor.

Just the facts, not favor vs. disfavor

The Houston Chronicle editorial staff know that to report inaccurately about either of these two well known candidates would result in further abandonment of their trusted readership.

You Gotta Love It!!....Ron Paul at 82%

Question : Do only Ron Paul supporters vote in these polls or are candidates Perry, Romney and Perry not viable and thus have no real support?

Since this is from a Texas media source

you might expect it to show Paul vs. Perry better than other polls might, but I also believe that the use of internet by passionate supporters gives Paul an "unfair" advantage that the other candidate simply cannot inspire, no matter how tech-savvy they may be.

Seeing this poll, I'm inspired to shout...

Run, Sarah, ruuun!

Start that, there, "Mama Grizzly Party", just like Teddy R. did with his, "Bull Moose Party"!

Houston doesn't have a problem with Ron Paul

The Houston Chronicle posts the opening of this article by stating:

"Every week, Texas on the Potomac presents your favorite postings of the previous week. Today, we offer an encore of the top ten postings for the week ending August 27."

Their number one posting reads:

"1. “Which Republican do you prefer for the 2012 presidential nomination?” Texas on the Potomac asked our readers. Your answer: 9 percent voted for Rick Perry, while 73 percent went for fellow Texan Ron Paul. See the results>" Currently, Paul is at 77%, but they're still taking votes through 9/5.

My second favorite comes in third here:

"3. Last week, The National Lampoon proposed no less than 21 Rick Perry campaign slogans. Among them were ”Bringin’ Tea to the Inauguration” and “The Issues: You Name ‘em, I’m Against ‘em”. Chuck Lewis reports>"

My personal favorites on the Lampoon's list would read, "Rick Perry: George W. Bush Without All of the Uncertainty"!
