We just ran out of funds today
($6,600 all burnt)
We need another $2,000 minimum to operate (at all) on 500,000 Iowans *(targeted Republicans) SUNDAY (WE START 10AM)
IOWA IS JAN 3RD, SO it's LITERALLY the last chance to reach them by phone.

I have a few question (not sure if this is the right place), Do people always have the option to talk to one of you? if not, what percent of the calls can (25%, 50%, 90%)?
And about how many people who have the option to talk to you do connect to you? 1 of 100, 1 of 500 calls?

and yes legal aliens none citizens can send money. you are not sending to the official campaign and you are not voting.
I am not a Citizen yet but I am a legal alien and I am allowed to contribute to the Ron Paul campaign which I have done several times.
As an alien with a permanent resident visa however I can not yet vote.
I see no reason why anyone can not lend or give money to people that want to use the money to contribute to Ron Paul or other candidates.

Goldwater's post is right; NHQ should be helping you folks out. You may consider calling your Campaign State Director to approach NHQ if you need to; or see if any member of Meetups has a working relationship with NHQ.
If you call NHQ directly; it is hard to get to the right people; they are so overwhelmed right now. You may be better asking for the Regional Director. Or you could call the Iowa State Director; and he could call NHQ on your behalf.

No it is not
It is COMPLETELY volunteer self funded.
We've been operational over a week, about 5-10 people come in daily at their own expense, ASSUMING LABOR AND TIME WERE FREE
they still pay out $5-10 each day just for parking, packing lunch, driving (we're in the heart of Los Angeles)
As for whether the HQ assists us, we forgot about it, we approached them months ago and they refused, so we took it to our own hands.
Up to 10,000 now.
How much total do you need to finish up in Iowa?
Ideally 11,600
but at least we convinced the company that we can raise this much (3,500) in one night, we can easily do the rest slowly later

So here's the math...
They spent 6600 dollars and got 300 solid vote promises.
Total votes in Iowa about 90,000.
So about 20 thou for 1% of the Iowa vote. Plus I bet some of these people will come to their friends.
At this point in time, this seems to be THE most important project to fund fully. OK, maybe the campaign should be doing it, and maybe they have something in parallel. But these guys are set up and doing it, and their phone calls, which you can listen to, are awesome.

Isn't this just duplicating the campaign's efforts? The latest panic e-mail fundraiser indicates that they need to make millions of phone calls, etc., etc.
If they are going to spend a mint on it already, why make extra calls?
I'm not trying to throw water on anyone's fire... just asking the question.

every person we called said they never heard of Ron Paul, never watch TV, don't have the internet, or got a postcard/letter from our grassroots, not a call from the official campaign.
they may have heard ads on radio, or signs posted by volunteers, but EVERYTHING BUT what the campaign has done.
