Dr. Paul has mellowed after all these years, but his message remains as consistent as ever. This is a fascinating video. (There is a brief, annoying little ad at the beginning. Be patient)

The announcer closes the segment with, "In the 20 years since this show, the chainsmoking host has died of lung cancer. Many in the studio have been institutionalized. Paul, however, except for a few white hairs, is still saying the same thing. "

Reminds me of the young Daniel Sheehan

Seeing Ron Paul on Morton's show... he looks like the young Daniel Sheehan, the firebrand lawyer from The Christic Institute of long ago.

Dan took on everybody and was fearless: the Karen Silkwood case against Kerr-McGee and a Klan trial and the (unfortunate) Tony Avirgan La Penca lawsuit that nearly wrecked him. Well, it cost $1m and put the Christic Institute out of business (thanks to a Federal judge).

But we have the fiery Dan Sheehan to thank for exposing the Iran Contra mess, the Bush/Clinton drug trafficking, the October surprise and other skulduggery during the Reagan and Bush administrations. Seeing Ron Paul leap from his chair and yell, well, it was good. I don't think he yell or leaps quite as much, but he still has all the fire, and that is a good thing for our Republic. I wish Dan Sheehan (and Sara Nelson) were around to lend a hand to the campaign these days.

Getting after those Bush's was great stuff!!! Our government is the biggest drug dealer there is, all one has to do is look at Afghanistan. The poppy fields are booming under United States occupation!!! Even the Neo-con Bill O'Reilly reported on this fact a few years ago.
