Cyber attack?????

Earlier today when I opened the Daily Paul a Flash ad appeared down in the corner. (NOK) Within a moment or two I had text running below that someone wanted to chat with me.

Tonite my Norton blocked three "portscans" back to back and the appearance of the ad.

Is this in house advertizing?

Anyone else experience such an attack?

Running Vista, with Norton?????
