at 3:07 Susan Estrich says 'Oh yeah, we'll fix that one."

Please rewatch this video starting from about 2:47 to 3:10 to get the context.

2:59 to 3:04

Susan Estrich - Ron Paul on that theory is not gonna be president.

Shep Smith - No, he's not.

Susan Estrich - Does he have something to say? He does.

Between 3:05 and 3:08

All 3 of them are talking at the same time. Listen carefully, because Greta's voice is the loudest, but in the background you can clearly hear the following:

Shep Smith - How do we know he's not?

Susan Estrich - Oh yeah, we'll...we'll fix that one.

WOW! Even though I know how corrupt our institutions are in this country, seeing time and again, never fails to make me heartsick.

Secrets of the Federal Reserve

Ron Paul is the only candidate in my lifetime that has exposed the Federal Reserve and Fox News does not want to help expose this fraud on their network. The Federal Reserve System is not Federal; it has no reserves; and it is not a system at all, but rather, a criminal syndicate. From November, 1910, when the conspirators met on Jekyll Island, Georgia, to the present time, the machinations of the Federal Reserve bankers have been shrouded in secrecy. Today, that secrecy has cost the American people a three trillion dollar debt, with annual interest payments to these bankers amounting to some three hundred billion dollars per year, sums which stagger the imagination, and which in themselves are ultimately unpayable. Officials of the Federal Reserve System routinely issue remonstrances to the public, much as the Hindu fakir pipes an insistent tune to the dazed cobra which sways its head before him, not to resolve the situation, but to prevent it from striking him. Such was the soothing letter written by Donald J. Winn, Assistant to the Board of Governors in response to an inquiry by a Congressman, the Honorable Norman D. Shumway, on March 10, 1983. Mr. Winn states that "The Federal Reserve System was established by an act of Congress in 1913 and is not a ‘private corporation’." On the next page, Mr. Winn continues, "The stock of the Federal Reserve Banks is held entirely by commercial banks that are members of the Federal Reserve System." He offers no explanation as to why the government has never owned a single share of stock in any Federal Reserve Bank, or why the Federal Reserve System is not a "private corporation" when all of its stock is owned by "private corporations"

unbalanced spin can shut the machine down

Killed the TV 5 years ago, it's been great. Still get the occasional urge for Bill O on the radio though. Not sure why it's like a bad habit ...powerless over bill O and my life has become unmanageable...

Listen to the scripting or is it just that their actually brain washed: Gretta, "He's not going to be president" other blonde lady, "Right, that's the point", Shep, " Well That's for sure" all in less than 3 seconds. Shills.

They may be sincere to some degree however perhaps they don't want to loose there jobs due to layoffs when fox losses 30% of their viewership and sponsors are pulling adds left and right.

Any press is good press. Thanks for posting.

Write zeros on the hard drive ---> reinstall the Constitution

Paul T

The eyes say it all...

Greta couldn't look straight at the camera & mentioned that Ron Paul "won't be elected President" at least twice. She's just another Faux News sellout.

We Must not Lay Down!

They through out a bone nothing else! And Then and Then along came "He's not going to Win!
Ca. for the Good Dr. Paul
BobMo

"Not insignificant"?

This is damning with faint praise. How would you like it, to be called "not insignificant"?

Faux News, up to their old tricks.

Maybe we should have a Fox news money bomb?

or call Fax news sponsors day or something. If we raised 10 million on fox news money bomb, I bet other network's will get kick out of it. Interesting to see how fox news going to report it. ha ha ha

Please, read this

Fox is simply allowing their tools to "show" support to Paul so regular viewers see them being "fair". Greta let it slip "I'll probably get in trouble" followed by a lame Shep "Fox doesn't get us in trouble". They were sent out to say some nice things about Paul to keep their regulars. Fox is run by traitors to America. Period. They have exposed themselves because of the power Dr. Paul and his MESSAGE have generated. It's the message they are afraid of. It destroys years of conditioning. Too late Fox. This is not over after the election. Our infrastructure is being built. We have educational material, a radio station, a TV station, the police, military and over one hundred thousand volunteers and growing. We will hand deliver DVDs, Paul lit, etc. We will continue to spread the truth about our American Republic. We will never stop until we reach each and every American and millions overseas. We will take comfort and joy watching you thrash around and grow obsolete. God Bless America, Ron Paul 2008

I'm with you.

No ONE!

No one is asking anyone to GUSH APPRECIATION!!!

Where is the Rudy Library and the Mitt Library. Has anyone found them? Do we even know if they can write?

Whether we should gush appreciation or not? hmmmm?

I say no.

1) I hate Fox

2) Sheepard Smith says first thing "We have not mentioned this guy at all tonight but blah blah blah" Now we will mention him at 11:30 at night after everyone is in bed except the Paul supporters.

3) They are testing us to see if the boycott is legit without giving us ANYTHING.

4) I hate Fox

Don't give them any credit for anything. they do not deserve it.

Where is the Rudy Library and the Mitt Library. Has anyone found them? Do we even know if they can write?

Furthermore...

That talking head Greta person thing acted dumb when she said Did did didn't didn't he beat beat Mayor uh Guiliani? what is wrong with her? As if she had not been sitting at the frickin table ALL NIGHT looking at those numbers. She is an actor and she IS acting and can not be trusted. She is p p p play play playing us for fools. AND... I hate Fox

All I heard was "he's not

All I heard was "he's not going to win". And, unfortunately, that is what most of the amerikan sheople will hear. That is way we must get the word out and....

Shear the Sheople
And make them People.

Vote Freedom
Vote Liberty
Vote RON PAUL

I agree with what you're

I agree with what you're saying, it is an insidious tactic often used against us. But all we can do is hope that some of the people hearing that will say, "Oh yeah?! Who are YOU to tell me who is or isn't going to win?"

People don't like being told that so-and-so is inevitable. There's a danger of creating a backlash movement against those candidates. See Hillary Clinton.

Well, the reverse is also true -- tell enough people that something can't happen, and they'll make it happen just to spite you. To quote Clint Eastwood: "Anytime anybody tells me the trend is such and such, I go the opposite direction."

The opposite of freedom is slavery; if I am 99% free, then I am part slave, which is like being "a little bit pregnant." Freedom versus slavery is a zero-sum game.

The reason..

The reason for posting it was so you could see that most sane people, even those who work for FOX, realize that 10% in Iowa and all those supporters out there along with the money raised, add up to a serious candidate and what they just did is cast aspersions on their own netork, FOX, for doing this.

In other words, RP = credibile FOX = not credible

did that bitch on the right

im going to edit this to say that im going to post this on the youtube comments, not here, sorry :)

Those of you who still believe in Fox being fair about anything

need some long, deep and hard therapy. You're nuts!!! What will it take to wake you people up?

JB

Why is this posted?

This is absolutely nothing to be happy about people. Think about it... all they did was damage control. Somebody from Faux News said Paul should be invited (which he won't be anyway and they know that). Then they go right back into their "but he'll never win" propoganda. Why is anyone happy about this interview? I respectfully think that it should be removed from this website.

By the way, here's some points to ponder...

1. If Faux built the "bus" themselves, why didn't they make it bigger in the first place?

2. Only two candidates who won Iowa in the Primary have ever won their parties nomination... ever. Bill Clinton pulled 2.8% in Iowa.

3. What is their journalistic / factual justification for stating that he will never be president? It sure can't be the Iowa numbers.

rEVOLution

I'm glad it was posted

I'm glad it was posted because I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. It shows that at least some people at FOX are experiencing some cognitive dissonance over the decision to bar Paul from the forum. Some of them recognize BS when they smell it. Maybe that sentiment will catch on at FOX.

Not necessarily

If you caught it, the guy actually said "but how do we know he's not going to be president?" but he was drowned out by the other people talking.

This Fox Youtube Thread Should Be Replaced With the Piece

that just aired on CNN. That was much more fair and balanced and covered what Fox was doing to Dr. Paul and does not compromise our boycott of Fox like this does.

In my opinion, it was a very poor decision to post this to begin with.

Susan Estrich should clarify her statment!!!

That's an extraordinary statement that she made on TV.

You mean the one where Susan

You mean the one where Susan said, "Oh well, we'll fix that one" in regards to the question, "How do -we- know he won't win?"

Greta Van Susteren

Greta is a personal friend of the Clintons. . Her comment about Ron Paul not going to be the President is her personal preference. I am sick and tired of pundits and talking heads covertly telling us who to vote for. Greta is not our friend. Don't try to make her our friend. She is Clinton through and through.

Jane, I've said before and

Jane, I've said before and I'll say it again. Meet for the lions. I'm not impressed. I agree with the post below. This shouldn't be up here.

Backhanded compliment

Yes, they said he deserves to be heard, but then they go right into their "but he's not going to be President" diatribe.

Do these folks who IDOLIZE Reagan forget where "he" was at this time of the primary elections? I guess the fact that Fox has no brains also accounts for their "short memory" in history!

This gives a more LITERAL meaning to "crazy as a fox" (i.e. foxes are just plain CRAZY...LOL!).

If Ron Paul says keep up the pressure, why is this thread being

posted. I have not viewed it, nor will I, based on principle.

Whether or not an employee of Fox said something positive about Dr. Paul should have no bearing on some of the so called Ron Paul supporters getting all giddy about sending "thank you" emails to this Fox employee.

Now if this employee were to quit and move to another network, then I would be glad to email her about a wise career decision. But until then words are just words and are meaningless.

But a boycott is action and means a whole lot to corporate America, that is if they are adhered to.

Something that some here don't seem to want to do.

This post makes Ron Paul supporters look like hypocrites, on one hand they are advocating for a boycott, on the other they get all gushy if a Fox employee throws them a bone and it makes no difference whether it was watched on Fox or a youtube video they all count their viewers.

And it's viewers who continue to make Fox relevant. But it's boycotting that makes them irrelevant.

Here's the link about Dr. Paul wanting the pressure to be kept up.

Also, I personally heard Kent Snyder say that boycotts do work and he thought they were a good idea.

I wonder what Dr. Paul thinks when he comes here and sees a thread like this, advocating an email thanks to a Fox employee when we are suppose to be boycotting...he must be very disappointed in some of us, although being the gentleman he is, he would never say so.

People need to think before something like this is posted.

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

Don't be fooled by the Double talk!

They Keep reaping their Mantra He won't win........we Must over come that By asking Why ,when Clinton got 3% in Iowa and won!!!!

Why Not??????

when a thank you is due, send thanks!

First, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/wa...

What she did for us was AMAZING. Call it damage control, call it whatever you want... it was as though she was temporarily possessed by Tucker Carlson. That for me was the biggest surprise of the night. Let her think Ron Paul can't be president. We are charged with the duty to make that happen. But what she said was the best thing said about Ron Paul on tv last night and you can't deny that.

She not only stood up, she stayed standing up for a few minutes and defended Ron Paul. She went WAY out on a limb. Show her the LOVE in our R3VOLOUTION

Greta's e-mail: Ontherecord@foxnews.com

Shep Smith also did us some good: Foxreport@foxnews.com

SIDE NOTE: Keep the boycott going, just give credit when credit is due. It is the Ron Paul thing to do. You win em over slowly, one at a time. I'd even go so far as to say we might send her a mini-flower bomb.

I'm so tired of the

I'm so tired of the corporate media talking about "bringing a message" and so on, and their thinking that that's the main reason for these libertarian-thinking presidential candidates to run on the ballot. Like here in this panel discussion, or like when George Steph... (sorry I just can't spell his name) said, "What's success for you", as though freedom-loving, non-establishment candidates should aim low. Baloney! We want our candidates to WIN the elections, so we can actually change the failed big government policies and restore freedom. These punk-dits will never get it. We aim high. We should have the same chances as anyone else to dream of becoming President, Congressperson, or whatever. I can't stand the arrogance of these punk-dits! I just hope and pray in November we can see the look on George Steph.'s face as he eats his words which he so quickly snapped at our man Ron Paul - "That's not gonna happen." How dare he presume who is and who's not going to be elected! Might as well have Caesar in this country (not really, please) if they're going to control "elections" like this.

Amazing, AMAZING

Wow, that was the most fair and balanced I've heard Fox to date.

At least Greta spoke a bit

At least Greta spoke a bit of rational thought into this. Look, people like Estrich have already made up their minds that Hillary will be next prez. Didn't she say that she wanted Huckabee to win the GOP because it would mean Hillary would win hands down?

My only problem with these talking heads is that they still refer to Paul's ideas (Constitutionally-based mind you) as such things as "Frightening" or "Interesting" or that Paul is an "Interesting Character." I truly despise the way the MSM trivializes who Paul is. Yet, his supporters are mentioned time and time again as truly embracing and supporting their candidate.

Maybe the MSM should do a segment or two or three on how, as a nation, we've drifted away from basic Constitutional ideas and procedures. Why is it o.k. now to not follow our law of the land? Is it truly a "living document" subject to open interpretation based on events?

My only advice to Dr. Paul would to be a tad bit more authoritative (not condescending although I don't think he ever would be!) in his reposnses. Every debate you can see him busting at the seams to get all of his knowledge across in a very short amount of time.

However, people watching don't want to be educated. They want someone who will speak in those short soundbites and tell them what they want to hear. I'd like to see Paul in one of these debates just open fire and how his actions would be better for the country. He needs to paint a picture of what his administration would look like in reality. I think some people are put off by his ideas that seem too far out there for them. Tell them how they can keep their land, their money, their freedoms with him as President. With someone else, you're going to lose all of those things and that is not what our country was founded on nor was that the intent of the founders.

People need to understand that his Presidency would not result in massive changes overnight and that it would be a gradual return to the founder's intent in the most realistic and practical manner possible. You don't take the oath one day and the next day sign an executive order dismantling the Department of Education or the IRS the next. And you certainly don't withdraw US troops stationed overseas in two weeks.

Please, refrain yourself from repeating their language.

Please, refrain yourself from repeating their language as you post your opinions. I know what you mean, but you are unwittingly spreading their message by repeating their language, in my opinion.

Susan Estrich

Susan Estrich bio is here:
http://law.usc.edu/contac...

She is the FAR FAR LEFTWING of the Democrat party and part of the 'establishment'. She knows that elections are fixed.

OMG Did you hear?

Did you hear susan say at (3:00 min)
"he's not going to be president."
the guy said, "how do we know he's not going to be president?"
Then susan said, "well, we are going to fix that."
You have to listen closely because greta was talking over her.

Is that what you hear, or am I crazy?

Absolutely I heard It!

I'm dumbfounded.

Yes. I listened to it five times and Susan Estrich said, "Oh well, we are going to fix that."

Who the hell is 'we'?

I can understand if maybe she meant, "we (the democrats) are going to fix that by electing Obillary" or something similar.

But it actually came off sounding like, "We are going to fix the election."

It certainly bears looking into. Maybe a clarification is in order.

COURAGEOUS!!!

You got to remember that they work for FOX, but they said what they said. They are people, too and I believe that they (at least the two of them) want to say "GO RON PAUL!" if they could.

Greta and Shep are my heros who took a real risk!

Should Fox News Reconsider?

Did you catch this---->

"at the risk of getting in trouble, oh well, it's too late for that..."

Interesting....

Greta slipped & Shep tried to fix it!

You are exactly right, lynnopoly! I heard that yesterday and was trying to get others to hear it. I am so glad someone else noticed it. It is right about :50 in the video. Then Shep immediately does damage control and says, "What do you mean? We don't get into trouble......", then Greta says, "I'm just kidding".....Yeah right, FAUX News

This video speaks volumes of what these corporate government propogandists liars are doing!

Faux News was outted for what they are months ago, this is just another clear example.

Screw Faux, the whole decietful pack, we don't need them. They were just put in a position where they had no choice but to give some mention of our campaign. They have lost me forever and I won't look back.

Yes

This is proof that they ARE instructed in what to push and what not to push, whether specifically or implicitly. For example, in the Luntz focus groups, he first made insinuations then by the time the group was over he was making outright attacks on our candidate.

Yeah, but she also said

"He's NOT going to be President."
Shep said "That's for sure."
Susan quickly chimed in: "That's the point."

They did not say "He probably won't."

I found the video chilling.

Wow, these people have no

Wow, these people have no clue! At the end they state he is not going to be president. Do they even realize what happened in Iowa?

Paul is the only real winner in Iowa. Why? Well, Romney lost big time because he spent tons of money and time in Iowa and was a distant second place. Guiliana lost big because he spent very little time there just like Ron Paul, yet Paul got almost three times the vote that he did. Huckabee lost because it is an Evangelical state, and this will most likely be the only one he wins. And McCain and Thompson lost because they do not have near the funds that Paul has going out of Iowa, and they only got a few more percentage points then he did, and they both spent more time and energy in Iowa then Ron Paul. I hear Thompson spent a lot more the Ron Paul there.

Lastly, the Ron Paul supporters STAYED TO BECOME DELEGATES, which is really what matters.

These people are going to eat their words when Ron Paul becomes president.

Winners in Iowa

I heard McCain spent no time in Iowa because he is against corn subsidies and so he considered it a lost cause. From http://www.cnn.com/2008/P... :

On the Republican side, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has spent close to $7 million for 8,500 spots, about five times more than former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has spent ($1.4 million) for 1,800 ads. Former Sen. Fred Thompson of Tennessee is close behind, spending $1.1 million for 1,100 ads.

Two leading Republicans have been noticeably absent from Iowa airwaves: Sen. John McCain of Arizona and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Both have made the risky gambit of largely skipping Iowa to focus on later states -- McCain on New Hampshire, which votes five days after Iowa, and Giuliani on Florida, which holds its nominating contest January 29.

Of course no mention of how much RP spent in Iowa, does anyone know? Also does anyone know how many delegates he picked up? I heard just 1 delegate.

GO GRETA!!

I am going to email her and thank you for pretty much outting Faux and saying it how it is. It does take guts to stand up to your boss.

Her email is ontherecord@foxnews.com if anyone else wants to as well.

Greta comment!

Thanky you Greta! The voice of reason. But it's a good thing I saw this here cuz I will not be watching Fox News Network or your Show for 30 days, at least!
