CNN on Ron Paul Situation 1/4/2008
Posted January 4th, 2008 by Jane Aitken
Here is the CNN clip where Bob Barr and Richard Viguerie speak up for RP and the NH GOP is still negotiating. I will look for that one too, with Fergus being interviewed.

thank you Jane!
thank you Jane!
A little more love
“There is simply no tolerance of competing voices against the political elite of two-party politics,” says Shane Cory, executive director of the Libertarian Party.
“The leading GOP fund-raiser for the fourth quarter is being snubbed from the debates for nothing more than having political views outside of mainstream Republicanism,” says Cory. “The Republican establishment shuns Paul for his pro-liberty views and will do everything it can to marginalize him. Unfortunately, this is nothing new. There is a long-standing culture of censorship among the political elite when it comes to competing viewpoints.”

Today we must relentlessly continue the battle with Fox.

unbalanced spin can shut the machine down
I think they, fox, are hearing from a lot of folks that bill O was supposed to be looking for and this negative media and blowback from the NH Repub. will have an impact. But that doesn't really matter because they are a second tier media outlet anyway. ;-) Hey how's that shoe fit?
I'm Impressed
I have to eat my words, when this story broke, I really thought the MSM would circle their wagons and run away from this story and let Faux News get away with this injustice. To see CNN, Wolf Blitzer, and others come out so objectively is a great positive. I hate to be cyncial, but perhaps they see this as an opportunity to regain some of the viewers they lost when CNN was perceived as the "Clinton News Network." Thank you Wolf Blitzer!
Bob Barr
Is the campaign using Bob Barr to the fullest extent they can?
Bob Barr
I'm not sure if they've been using him to the fullest extent or if Barr wasn't stepping in. This was the first I've heard him say something publicly on Paul.
Bob Barr
Barr is on the Libertarian National Committee, and actually sponsored a unanimous resolution honoring Dr. Paul's achievements for liberty, and invited him to look to the LP if things do not work out for his GOP bid come February.

Wow
That was legimate coverage. Fantastic!
Grrrr
Fox news may push many our way.
Thanks John Moody - VP Fox (Corporatista)
Grrrrr....
"New Hampshire Republicans" are not happy
It's about time.
They didn't say "Paul's fringe iinternet following", the "radical Paul fanatics", "Paul's libertairian supporters", etc.
They said, "New Hamphire Republican's" aren't happy. I think the are figuring out that we are the Real Republicans.
We're here to take it back!
Now this is a good video!

Where is the Rudy Library and the Mitt Library. Has anyone found them? Do we even know if they can write?
Awesome!
That clip is just what I needed to pick me up. Thanks for posting it!
Thank you FOX!!!
Nice, I think we're getting more press than if he was included in the Neo-Forum. Even those who don't agree with Paul on the issues are calling for his voice to be heard. Of all people, NH voters HATE to be told whose viable and whose not. This is a great example of blowback - of course nothing Faux news or the neo-con establishment know anything about.
Thanks again FOX!!! Go Ron Go!!!
Yer dang right!
It's the principle of the thing. We're like Alaskans; staunchly independent. I know there are many neocons who don't get it with Paul, but we do have more people who do get it than anywhere else I think.
Go NH!
Agreed!
... ultimately, they'd throw a few joke questions his way (Are you going to run as a third party candidate? Planning on keeping a racist donation?). I've seen several pieces (each at least three minutes) on various outlets.
