This Is Very Troubling - Part 1

My fellow Americans, we all claim we feel very strongly for Ron Paul. It would sure seem that way judging from all the enthusiasm at the rallies and sign bombs. However something has been worrying me since Florida, and frankly, starting to PISS ME OFF about some supporters. I spend a HUGE chunk of my time reading the comment sections in the articles because I’d rather get the opinions of many, than just one, usually biased reporter. I am starting to see many more people making statements such as, "that's it, I give up", and "we just can't win". Now listen, I can understand disappointment, after all we are human. But what I CAN'T understand is how easily these people seem to give up on a cause! As if the election results weren't bad enough, all this negativity and talk about quitting just adds to the disappointment and probably also encourages people who are having second thoughts about supporting Dr. Paul. Was it that these people just jumped on the Ron Paul bandwagon because it was the cool thing to do? Possibly, but I don’t think so. Are those comments planted by the GOP to discourage us? Possibly, but I don’t think so either (though it may occur). They’re reacting like it’s a sinking ship and they’re the first ones bailing. This is a prime example of flip-flopping (might as well join Romney) when things don’t seem to be going your way. Personally, I wish Ron Paul would take the gloves off during the debates since I feel he is intellectually superior to the other candidates and would make them look like fools. But Dr. Paul is a smart man and I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he knows what he is doing. Who knows, maybe he is saving the aggression for Obama? But, I’m just really surprised that people who are for Liberty would just roll over so easily. No wonder this country is in the shape it’s in. Ron Paul has been unfairly treated in the media, during the debates, and continually ridiculed and mocked. He’s been dealing with this sort of treatment for 30 freakin’ years, and some people can’t hold on for a few weeks??? You people are letting the GOP, and their dirty tactics win. Are you going to let them??? I really hope your reply is a “HELL NO!”

FACT: EVERY SINGLE DAY, the message is spreading and there are countless new Ronverts. And just like you and I, those new Ronverts are contagious and they in turn convert more voters into Ron Paul voters.

FACT: I’ve also been watching a HUGE, HUGE climb in Ron Paul Youtube videos watched. This tells me that people are curious and they are starting to inform themselves and learn about Dr. Paul. These videos that only a month or two ago were in the low hundreds are now in the tens of thousands and the Ron Paul ads are in the Hundred Thousand numbers! They’ll be in the millions within the next month or two mark my words.

CORRECTION!

After numerous attempts, Part 2 found it's way in to the spam filter. I was eventually able to post the entire comment here:

I've been trying for a while now to publish the entire comment, but I kept getting:

"504 Gateway Time-out. The server didn't respond in time."

I apologize for any confusion.

I know the feeling

Being the second time for me. You can get really burned out from fighting the battle every day. Take a few days away and come back and fight again. Dont give up

I changed my signature

I hope you like it.

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

I never noticed

I never noticed before how that signature looks upside down. That's exactly how I'm feeling towards the GOP.

((((((((((((((( LL )))))))))))))))) Thank you

Thank you for sharing your love with me. I think it was the poster Washington who just commented on a the thread snakepit made about remaining Republican.. snakepit asked if it was an elephant and washington said "it's his giant balls of steal" (he doesn't know I'm a girl)

Made me LOL til I cried. LOL I didn't see it that way, but now... I don't know... looks like washington has a point, eh? Maybe it's a good point? I think it might take a giant pair to remain in the game, eh?

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

HA!

Ha! That was good - I missed that post. If anyone can face adversity and opposition it's Dr. Paul. Been doing it his entire career. A man that will tell you where he stands whether it's popular thing to get votes or not. Pure integrity.

My Reply...

HELL NO! ;-D!!

be who you is, 'cause if you be who you ain't then you ain't who you is ~ from a gravestone in Tombstone, AZ

We've all been there,done that

The game is 100% rigged and can not be won period. I'll still canvas and monitarily support, and vote for Paul just as I did in 07 when I knew there wasn't a chance in hell that tptb were going to let us chose who we the People want as POTUS.

Sorry for any confusion

Cast a Vote or Write Him In!

There are going to be ups and downs throughout this process. We are a team of sorts. At the end of the day though, one at a time we will enter some voting booth or caucus and we will, alone, decide who we are voting for.

I don't know about the rest of you but I will ONLY vote for Ron Paul. I will write him in if I have to. For me there is no other choice. If every other person on the face of this planet refused to vote for Ron Paul, I will stand up and vote my conscience.

I do not care what everyone else thinks. I have done my own research and comparisons. For me, there is only one choice and one choice only. Ron Paul.

If each of us, in any interaction regarding our vote would share this fact, unwavering; then maybe the rest of the GOP, Tea Partiers, Occupiers, etc . . . could get this point through their heads, and they'd know that they needed to back RP now so we can save our country.

To quote Mother Abigail, "Its time to make a stand!"

;)

"Keep your hands out of my pockets and stop telling me what to do!"

When some people are having a spate

of discouragement they say things that they would not normally say. In a day or two they will feel better and get back on track. Also in our culture of having to have everything instantly, some do not understand the concept of patiently working for the future, line upon line, precept upon precept, slow and stead wins the race.

Some commenters here are saying we should give up on the Republican Party. I say we should work to clean it up.

His appeal is more solid, based on logic

As a result, we should expect exactly the results we're getting. A steady climb. If his appeal were based on hype, like the others, we would see the Sharp inclines followed by the inevitable declines when people realize they are full of crap.

I haven't seen any comments

I haven't seen any comments like that. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen any posts from RP supporters. That is just as alarming, considering that 3 or 4 weeks ago, they made up half of the comments.

I understand the negative comments...

Right after being disapointed with the results and all the cheating we fill overwelmed and seams that there is no hope, but I thing that people are just showing their frustration. Next day they recover and go back to fight again. We need to allow people to "morn".

We're all frustrated.

Some people vent differently than others. But at the end of the day, we're all going to keep supporting Ron Paul and vote for him no matter what.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Giving up is not an available option.

It does not stop the tyranny from advancing.

So, all giving up does is let them get further down the road to where they are going to really get rough on you.
Right now, we're in utopia compared to where this bunch is planning on taking us.
It only gets worse as it goes along.
Fight it every step of the way. Beat it as soon as you can. If you don't, you will be very very sorry that you didn't act sooner. What they have planned for you is more horrible than you can imagine.

Well said!

Only one candidate has had steady growth.
