All Day Event

You’re still the boss but they watch you like you’re the hired help and it's not right. Time to turn the tables and deliver a reminder!

On March 4, 2012, gather around a security camera and put elected employees and bureaucrats on notice by reading as individuals or organizations the entire Bill of Rights all day on, every hour on the hour !

Who should participate? Anyone or any group that works at, or concerned about preserving and upholding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights!

Call friends and family, your co-workers, organizations that fight for any or all civil rights, churches, radio stations, TV stations, newspapers and convince them to participate. Hold a rally before hand, wear costumes, hold up signs. Be safe, have fun, but send a peaceful but stern message.

Here are the instructions in two easy parts.

Instructions: Part 1 of 2:

March 4, 1789 was the first day of official business for the US Constitution and our federal government: The United States of America. To ensure there is never a last day be sure to remind your elected and appointed employees of a few things on March 4th. Wherever you are stop what you are doing, and peacefully face a security camera in public view, choosing one that permits caring for your own safety and the safety of others - do not block a road in any way. Start with common sense. Do not leave anything requiring your constant attention unattended. Be lawful and peaceful but firm in your words and actions. Not lawless. Do not do this in any location where it may be against the law or just plain dumb. The idea is to be heard and seen everywhere that makes sense; malls, churches, shopping centers, universities, grocery stores, train stations, airports, public buildings, parks, pedestrian streets, ATM machines etc, in a good light, not in a bad one. As the boss, set the example your employees can be proud of, and even admire, even though they may not be able to agree with you openly or join you. Remember they may be just as much a brother or sister in this Republic as anyone else so act accordingly.

Instructions, Part 2:

STARTS AT 7 AM, SUNDAY MARCH 4.

a-GOES ALL DAY.
b-READ THE AMENDMENT NUMBER THAT MATCHES THE HOUR OF THE DAY.
c-GATHER ROUND ANY PUBLIC CAMERA / MICROPHONE, READ THE AMENDMENT ALOUD THEN READ THE PARAGRAPH IN STEP 2 EACH TIME.
d-CALL INTO RADIO AND TV STATIONS AND NEWSPAPERS
e-Tweet it and organize, organize, organize !
f-Make a video, take a picture, and share it on Facebook
g-Print this out and carry it with you. Be one of hopefully many millions that will read them ALL aloud !

Sunday March 4th, 2012: 7:00 AM - 7th Amendment

READ:

Amendment 7 - In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

READ THIS SECOND PART ALOUD AFTER EACH AMENDMENT IS READ ALOUD THROUGHOUT THE DAY:

“March 4, 1789 was the inauguration date of the Constitution of the United States of America, the first day of official business of the Government, and the start of the first Presidential term, as authorized by the Constitution as We The People willed it to be done. It is under the protection of this Constitution that we created and own, that we are gathered here today on this March 4th to celebrate its first day doing OUR will, and for the purpose of putting YOU on notice with a reminder: It is from us (point to your chest) that you (all point at the camera) receive all the powers and authority that you now claim to wield exclusively. We are here to remind you who it is that really wields the ultimate powers of society: You’re looking at them –(gesture towards each other as a group, or to yourself). We are here to remind those watching and listening, that from now on, we consider our surveillance unlawful and unnecessary as we are not guilty of anything, except of being in charge, you not liking it, and pretending you can make us shut up or disappear at the stroke of a pen just because you scribble your names on stacks of unconstitutional laws. Since it’s obvious you don’t know your job or your place, all of these cameras and all microphones that you have placed anywhere, that we paid for and own, will be our personal broadcasting studios. We’re going to remind you all the time, who’s really in charge. As Chief Executive Officers of the Constitution, we will be telling you on this and other cameras, wherever located, exactly what you will do, or stop doing- or consider yourself fired. You won’t be able to claim that you didn’t get the memo or that there’s been a misunderstanding. The power and authority that we delegated to you will be taken away. We pay the bills and salaries around here, and still own this place, so consider yourself on notice that surveillance will be in both directions from now on."

8:00 AM - 8th Amendment

READ:

Amendment 8 Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

9:00 AM - 9th Amendment

(Helpful hint: The ninth amendment is one of those amendments that silently guarantees many innumerable rights not specifically guaranteed but that nevertheless exist as a natural right. It does not get enough attention as it is the very root of the Constitution itself. The government is not empowered to go there and violate them since they are not listed, nor prevent you from enjoying and using them should you "find them" and express them yourself. Those working in the field of civil liberties and the legal profession should be well represented)

READ:

Amendment 9 - Construction of Constitution. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

10:00 AM - 10th Amendment

(Helpful hint: Individuals and organizations who are active defending the rights of the people to govern themselves within their own States without Federal interference, should organize in advance for maximum impact. When understood with the ninth Amendment it is revealed to you clearly that the real structure and outlook of your life as a citizen, and those of your friends and neighbors, was supposed to be largely determined and shaped by you in your State with your State and local governments answering to you, and NOT to the far away and impersonal Federal government. This was one of the true miracles of the Constitution; the right to prescribe the method of government specifically tailored to local needs but without denying anyone of their Constitutional rights, and without being able to deny those not enumerated, but that you are free to use, as shown to you in the ninth Amendment. The ninth and tenth Amendments are a test of maturity. They trust you to make decisions that do not betray you as being yet another despot, but instead an enlightened citizen as the founders envisioned).

Amendment 10 - Powers of the States and People. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

11:00 AM, Article 1, Section 9

(Helpful hint: Individuals and organizations who are active defending the American right to a court trial by a jury of one's peers and who disagree with recent actions to indefinitely detain American citizens without charge or trial, should organize in advance for maximum impact).

Article 1, Section 9 - The privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

READ:

Article 1, Section 9 - No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

(Explanation: A Bill of Attainder is when the legislature collectively acts like a dictator and decrees a person or group guilty of an offense and then seeks to punish them. Read the 6th Amendment and 5th Amendments to see why Bills of Attainder are unconstitutional on their face. Ex post facto laws are laws that retroactively change the legal consequences of actions committed in the past. Both are intended to prevent the dictatorial and criminal abuse of the enumerated legislative powers and by extension to prevent abuses by the executive and judiciary branches of government should they enforce or carry out such Bills as laws).

1:00 PM - 1st Amendment

(Helpful hint: Individuals and organizations who are active defending the first amendment freedoms of religion, speech and the press, or the right to assemble, should organize in advance for maximum impact. Churchgoers, the press, and those in the entertainment industry should be there).

Amendment 1 -Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a of grievances.

2:00 PM- 2nd Amendment

(Helpful hint: Individuals and organizations who are active defending the second amendment should organize in advance for maximum impact. Obey all gun laws and regulations in your respective jurisdictions).

Amendment 2 A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

3:00 PM - 3rd Amendment

(Helpful hint: Though there are few instances of violations of the 3rd Amendment but it does speak to violations of and confiscation of private property rights and the abuse of imminent domain. It is supported by the due process clause of the 5th Amendment).

Amendment 3 - No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment 4 -The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

5:00 PM - 5th Amendment

(Helpful hint: Individuals and organizations who are active defending the fifth amendment should organize in advance for maximum impact. Those working in the field of civil liberties and the legal profession should be well represented).

Amendment 5 No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

6:00 PM - 6th Amendment

(Helpful hint: Individuals and organizations who are active defending the sixth amendment should organize in advance for maximum impact. Those working in the field of civil liberties and the legal profession should be well represented).

READ:

Amendment 6- In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.
