Ron Paul on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno - Tonight

It's more than a little possible that Fix News' underhanded scheming will benefit Dr. Paul. Almost certainly more people in NH saw this than saw the debate! Ron Paul may pick up votes just from the people's sense of the injustice that was perpetrated on him.

I'm now a permanent Jay Leno fan!

Great interview. I felt like giving Ron Paul and Jay Leno a standing ovation in my living room, after midnight, with everyone else asleep. Well I did but rather quietly.

I'm sending Jay Leno a hand-written thank you letter as well as an email, thanking him. I think we should all thank him.

Every time I think he's hit his stride, he comes back even stronger!

Jay Leno needs a statue. We should build him one. I'm serious. Doesn't have to be huge, but this was a *big* move and truly a monumentally important gesture. An interview this magnificent the night before the NH primary... just wow.

I hope some people will also notice how much more inspiring Paul is when focused on the liberty message, and contrast it with the dark and negative tone when the topic is immigration. It didn't work for Tancredo, it isn't working for Hunter, and it is the weakest part of the campaign for Dr. Paul.

The good doctor hit all the themes that started the Ron Paul Revolution: he was back on message tonight. Now let's hope the campaign staff will start doing ads that get back to the peace, non-intervention, and respect for constitutional limits that built the momentum and brought in the money.

I was lucky enough to be at the taping and was blown away.
Ron Paul gave one of the best interviews of his life, and we have Leno to thank for it. He treated Dr. Paul with great respect and decency.

Jay must have worked some magic to get Dr. Paul on right before New Hampshire. Some people were saying that Leno wasn't too thrilled to have huckabee on his show last week (his first since the strike), so this might have been a bit of payback.

I think Leno really gets it. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a supporter.
And if he's not that's even more amazing... because he really did it for the r3volution tonight.

After the show, we were standing outside the studio when Dr. Paul's car pulled to the side of the road and he got out to say hi. several writers came over to say they like him too!

anti paul propogandist, there are media people who feel obligated be the other voice. It's very nice to hear someone have a normal conversation instead of constant interrogation. Jay Leno and Ron Paul were a real joy to watch.

There is no doubt about it. Ron Paul will get the Leno bump tomorrow in NH. Jay Leno is absolutely incredible. Asking Ron Paul to appear a second time on his show because of how Fox screwed him is to be commended. He said what Ron wouldn't " don't you just want to kick someones ass". Ron just smiled. He was brilliant. The crowd cheered. The people are begining to understand the predicament they are in. They are also beginning to understand the teacher. We should all follow his lead. Dedicate ourselves to the Constitution. Continue to educate others on the advantages of following it. And keep spreading the word. Support our troops! Elect Ron Paul.

Off the charts incredible. Ron had to tone it down some and almost "dumb" down the message a little but it was spot on a perfect performance. Awesome!

Just after Jay came back from his first commercial break, he explained "why" he had Ron Paul on and I was bordering on a Glenn Beck/french kiss moment (lol). Jay, you had me at "Hello, Ron Paul!"

This took not only some MAJOR brass balls, but also integrity of stellar proportions given his colleagues in the media.

I replied to one of the posts before expressing a cautious optimism for a 2nd interview, but Jay Leno came through with flying colors. I am truly impressed. Some hooligans throwing snowballs may have shown a bad light on the movement, but I and hopefully others will show the media we appreciate who our friends are. Larry King was a phony, Jay is the real deal.I will do more then send an email, I will send a gift showing him how much I appreciate him.

Dr. Paul looked very confident and seemed to be really enjoying himself. And what BOLD statements from Jay! Wow!

So, so glad the the strikers were welcoming of Dr. Paul!! Can't underscore that enough. I took some heat earlier, but that stuff matters more than people realize. Union folk do watch. Dr. Paul spoke well of Dennis Kucinich and he is pro-union.

Huck got called scab and had negative articles about his crossing the picket line. Think there will be articles talking about the CHEERING strikers taking RP signs and stickers, as "mr.patrickoconnor" describes further down?

Read the transcript and it was great. Good for Jay Leno for seeing through the lack of news reporting on the Fox snub and Dr. Paul shined as the Statesman he is.

GloZell, the perpetual Leno show attendeed wrote some nice things about Jay not having any A list people so he got Ron on because he knew it would make for a great show! Also he was truly upset about the FOX incident.. The audience gets to hear Jay speak before the show, called the warm up...

is it striking that a stand-up comic, turned late-night comedy host, has a greater understanding of the media's duty to provide people with information so that the people can make up their own minds than most professional news organizations these days. Kudos for Jay in taking this step. A good interview.

Jay is GREAT. Even if you don't like his jokes, when he interviews politicians he's super. Ron was able to get his message out about all his positions, and without bashing anyone, explained that the others don't follow the party platform!

I am proud to say Jay grew up in my hometown area of Andover, Mass!

Leno gave Paul a two part segment on the show and Ron did what he does best - TOLD THE TRUTH! Lets pray as the good folks in NH start going to the polls they have awaken to the Ron Paul Revolution!!

Did anyone catch Anderson Cooper live on CNN just before Jay Leno aired? I hope someone taped it because Cooper was literally surrounded by Ron Paul supporters at the town hall durring his entire live broadcast. It was amazing!!
