wow, that got pulled fast...

Stern has MILLIONS of Faithful Listeners!

His endorsement would be huge for the campaign. I cannot believe some of you people are condemning Stern for the views that he holds. Howard Stern is a champion of the 1st Amendment and has been routinely persecuted by the FCC for expressing his beliefs. We need Stern to endorse the good doctor. Please get on board. It is not too late.

Stern is not one of us

Stern is setting up a straw man. He comes out and says "I kinda agree w/everything that guys just said." Now he will come back and say that RP turned out to be racist and they will obliterate the straw man and convince their addled listenership to do the same all in keeping with his establishment goals. Stern will not benefit from greater competition or a free country because he a lock on his market; a monopoly.

That will ONLY work if

This person

http://www.wendymcelroy.c...

remains selfish & silent despite his past writings. If the campaign actually responds to Stern and treats him like a fellow human being who has likewise been a victim of SEVERE media bias (since it's true!) we might see different results. But so far, the campaign's handling of this gift has been a disaster, as the Letterman backpedaling shows. I'm amazed with all of this. Someone needs to cure the campaign if even a schlub like me could do better, and I could.

Does anybody have the first

Does anybody have the first video or sound bite of Howard Stern endorsing Ron Paul?

You know the one where Howard says: "He's Fantastic!"

You Tube seems to have removed it and I want to send it to a few of my friends. (FYI: A lot of my friends are big Howard Stern fans)

Thanks.

Here's the Link for the Day

Here's the Link for the Day 1 mentioning.

sarcasmo my friend

you keep pushing this idea that we should pay to use sterns exact words. why? the people that like and respect stern hear them already. it would just turn everybody else off. you are a loyal and adoring fan of stern so i understand where you are coming from, but it just doesnt make sense. let stern convince his listeners to support ron paul, and that will be plenty help enough from him.

thanks

EDITED: i just read again and maybe I misunderstood - you meant replaying his words on his own show - I have no problem with that.

thanks, yes. And now he's saying MORE good stuff

This makes 3 days in a row.

One of Howard's constant rants is that he doesn't like doing the commercials where he has to read something. Buying just a replay of what he already said and paying the higher price for it would play right into his old rants about doing that, and would be more than worth the money. I am just a fan (the only thing I adore is the hot lesbos -- I'm a hot young lesbian cruelly-trapped in an ugly old man's body!) but I know how the show and its fans work. We need ADS on that show, and none of the campaign's ads sound nearly as good as what Howard said yesterday about Ron Paul.

Do you folks know why "Sanjaya" did so-well despite the wishes of Fox executives? Howard's audience. Period. The numbers say it all. Today's Howard's 2 year anniversary on Sirius. The campaign needs to buy the ad I've suggested YESTERDAY. Other expenditures are a waste. Sirius ads reach high tech early adopters, and BY FAR the biggest Sirius audience is on Howard's 2 stations.

I don't care if they didn't think of it and I did, it's THE RIGHT THING TO DO. This opportunity is slipping-away, campaign. None of you are Stern Show listeners like me, so none of you know the power of the show. Plenty of you have probably, ironically, been affected by the MASSIVE media bias out there against Stern. You need to get over that and join Howard's revolution (yes, they call their movement that, too).
JMR

i have been working on a friend of mine for 10 months

and he has been slowly coming around, but the thing that softened him the most was hearing his boy STERN talk about Ron Paul. Yes, HS has influence and I have seen it first hand.

He was on the bandwagon for only a day though, the old newsletter situation has become an issue for him now!
But that's besides the point.

Howard Stern Prod. pulled it

About five minutes ago. It was 6th on Youtube. They're saying copyright infringement but I wonder how many subscribers it got for sirus Radio

How about

How about Paulites find the RP speech on the House floor where he defends Howard Stern free speech rights. Howard talked about it today, about 4 and half hours into the show. Video of the speech would be great or a transcript so we could email it to Howard.

I couldn't find that, but...

http://www.youtube.com/wa...

has Howard confronting Michael Powell...Great radio!!

An endorsement from Howard Stern is nothing to rejoice about

An endorsement from Howard Stern is nothing to rejoice about.

Stern represents the libertine aspect of libertarian which is not what Ron Paul represents.

Stern is an abomination to God and ripe for hell.

really?

Seems to me that a guy who has millions of listeners might be of some help to us. Not all of us are religious, you know. I don't have satellite radio, but I used to listen to Howard fairly often. I guess I'm "ripe for hell" too. Oh well.

We need freedom for everyone, not just those you view as religiously correct.

"Stern is an abomination to God and ripe for hell."

I'm glad you are so morally correct you feel the need to judge. Shouldn't that be God's job or were you somehow appointed his proxy?

Could you stop with that crap

I guess I should stop supporting RP,along with others here, because we are not religious and listen to Howard. Under your logic, I am an abomination to God and ripe for hell. That's fine with me because I am atheist and don't believe in religion. Keep your religious views to yourself, just like RP does.

I Second That!!

I totally agree with you...I do believe but not so religious...I welcome everyone who supports Ron Paul!! Whether they believe or not!! One thing I truly believe is that Ron Paul brings everyone together no matter what or who you believe in....This movement is about Freedom of each individual to think, feel, etc. as they wish!! I believe all Ron Paul supporters are the best and I welcome everyone!! Go Howard!! I hope Howard has Ron Paul on his show!!!

I'm a Daily Stern listener

I'll respectfully disagree with you.

Also, don't you think that pretty much every show Ron Paul has been on, the host did not represent him? It's about getting your ideas out there with someone whom agrees with you on many of your main points, and an audience of several million listerners.

It's a free country, people can listen to whomever they want. Free speech is ours.

Howard Ran as a Libertarian

I know Howard either received or attempted to receive the LP nomination for a state race in NY state. I believe it was governor.

My memory is a little hazy on the details, but Howard Stern appears to be a Libertarian. I know he wants to kill the FCC.

Dennis Hoff, entrapenuer and

Dennis Hoff, entrapenuer and owner of one of America's few legal prostitution establishments, the Nevada Bunny Ranch, has officially endorsed republican presidential nominee, congressman and physician (obstetretician and gynecologist) Ron Paul. See link to youtube video below.
http://www.youtube.com/wa...
Dennis Hoff has his bunnies directly asking customers for donations to help support the candidate he and his employees believe to be supporting personal liberty and freedom. Ron Paul is the ONLY presidential candidate who supports unabridged personal liberty and freedom of speech AND would fight to dismantle FCC regulations already in place on media like radio and television and prohibit regulation of the internet. This is big news for Howard Stern fans - especially since Howard Stern recently lauded Ron Paul's honesty and appeal on his radio show (here: http://www.dailypaul.com/... ) AND considering Howard Stern staunch support for personal liberty, deregulation of media outlets, and supply-side economic views (Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate to support across the board tax-cuts, and the only candidate with an unquestionable voting record to support it.

I really think at this point

I really think at this point the Ron Paul HQ needs to make contact with the Stern show. All the e-mails in the world won't change the fact that HQ has been pretty quiet to this.

Not just "make contact."

We need to buy that ad-time and then pay to use HOWARD'S EXACT WORDS TODAY, VERBATIM. Non show listeners (who should NOT email Fred, he knows what he needs to know from those of us who DO listen to the show) need to email the Ron Paul campaign and urge them to run the exact ad I'm repeatedly-suggesting. Today's rant, verbatim, is Stern Show Election GOLD. If we let it slip away and ignore this opportunity DESPITE HAVING THE MONEY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT, we'll only have ourselves to blame...

It's a pretty sure bet that NONE of the official RP campaign staff are daily Stern Show listeners, so it's a pretty good bet they WON'T know just how good of an idea not-making Howard work while paying him extra can be, but listeners like me know...Howard will LOVE IT. And he's likely to love it enough to make it work.

Don't overkill the message

Howard mentioned that he had received many emails from listeners. So he's definately onboard. I don't think we really need to flood him with any more e-mail.

Howard mentioned something about having Ron Paul on the show. I definately think the ball is in the campaign's court right now, they need to make this happen. The door is open now. If they don't, its a huge loss as Howards fan base are extremely loyal and dedicated to all things Howard, and many take his word as gospel.

I know that somebody contacted the Paul HQ yesterday, and hopefuly the get the jist of how important this could be. Not sure what else we can do to make sure the compaign gets on this right away.

Agreed. If not a Stern listener

PLEASE, do NOT email the show. They know. Do something productive, instead of potentially pissing Fred off.

Listen Live

http://www.sirius.com/sir...

If anyone wants to listen live to the show today you can get a 3 day pass for free and listen online. He’s got 2 channels: 100 is live and 101 is the west coast feed (delayed 2 hours so you can hear what you missed so far this morning). Warning content not for the faint of heart but usually pretty entertaining.

Maybe we can even support him in return with a few new Sirius subscriptions.

delay

West coast delayed 3 hours

Are there any good-looking

Are there any good-looking girls out there near the sirius studios that knows the issues that can support Dr. Paul? You'll probably need some RP "pasties" to get inside and get on the show. Often times, girls show up and end up on the show if they do some outrageous stunt. And Howard gives them a few minutes to plug their issue/product.

How about the Ron Paul girl from YouTube

Be present, tread softly, breath deeply, be peaceful, be patient, and encourage others and vote:

RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT

"Liv" (Mona Gillen) would do GREAT

On the show. But what the official campaign NEEDS to do ASAP is buy that "his own words" ad. Buy the time and just tell them to re-run Howard's rant. DON'T try to add or control content, what Howard said today is already PERFECT.

Buying an ad in this way, which would require 0 work from Howard, would show Howard that folks who know him and know the show are involved in this, and as I said, Howard Stern would go NUTS making such an ad work because we left him the f--- ALONE on the ad, and RP would have left him the f--- alone WRT the FCC. I can't stress enough how good this ad would be for our cause. I wish I could do a directed donation to the RP campaign that they could ONLY use for this ad.
JMR

And ANOTHER positive mention...

This time while Howard was on Sirius AND on Bubba's regular radio show, which made it clear that Bubba supports us, too. Please join me in begging the official campaign to buy some more ads on those shows, and please DON'T email Fred unless you know the show. We DON'T want to piss Fred off!! ;)

Ron Paul on Howard Stern - Day 2!

Ron Paul was brough up again several times this morning. Dr. Paul needs to get on this show ASAP. This could be HUGE! Millions of us listen to Howard every morning, and he's considered to be one of the best interviewers in the media.

Even Bubba was excited to hear Howard talk about Ron Paul. The folks on the Bubba show all love him. That would actually be another great show for Ron Paul to go on as well, but he definately needs to get in Stern right away, THIS WEEK!

Ok, you heard it...

You know the show. You know how Howard thinks.

Do you agree with me that the campaign should just buy that rant and the time it takes and put THAT on during commercial breaks? IMO it would be GREAT. The key would be to tell Howard he has to do no work. THAT would make Howard go-nuts working to make the commercial work for Ron Paul.

And I think RP should go to the Sirius studios in NYC and go on Howard in the morning and Bubba that afternoon and any other shows in-between. But we also need to do a massive ad buy YESTERDAY.
JMR

Note: I'm a lifetime $500 subscriber, but I own NO Sirius or XM stock whatsoever. I'm in this for Ron Paul, not just for me. I love this...

I agree, that would be kind

I agree, that would be kind of a fun and unique way to advertise the message.

They should also place an Ad on all of Sirius that says Ron Paul supports the merger and wants to get rid of the FCC. That'll pretty much get every satellite listener on board.

Thanks.

My idea is that the endless lawyer welfare program that is the Sirius XM merger should be the next subject of RP's next column. This is VERY exciting. We could win the election literally through comedy shows, and there's something seriously funny about that.
JMR

Please buy Sirius ads TODAY.

My God, Howard's DOING the ad for us for free, right now. IMO the campaign should just buy THIS RANT and pay to rerun the damn thing. Howard's our man, and he's not even political. I swear we need Dr. Paul in that studio tomorrow, before too many people lie to Howard.
JMR

PS If we just bought the time and Howard's own rant WITHOUT making him do ANY more work at all, Howard would probably go NUTS praising Ron Paul again for the principled FCC stance, etc. I wonder if our official campaign is smart enough to take advantage of this opportunity? It's akin to seeing a world record blue marlin while fishing for dolphin(dorado) IMO, but I wonder if others see that, and have the balls to act TODAY on it??

we need to call him!

I think we could get him aboard! He would have fun with Ron Paul.... It's funny when you log on to his website you see "Revolution!" I think Howard should be able to identify with RP's story.

Now he's saying MORE good stuff!

"I think I agree with everything he just said." And so did Howard's hot girlfriend Beth!! AND he's talking about RP being for abolishing the FCC!!! :)

PLEASE, official campaign. RUN THOSE F---IN' ADs AGAIN.
JMR

HOWARD STERN WORKS!!!

HOWARD STERN works in Politics!!!

He helped to get Governor(s) George Pataki AND & Governor Christine Whitman get elected into office!!! It would be very beneficiary to have Howard Stern on Ron Paul's platform. He has the red-blooded American male vote; and let's face it - a lot of attractive women love him too. We should ALL Work every angle possible for Dr. Paul. If Howard could do this for Pataki & Whitman, then why not Paul?!?!?!??? Howard drove people who had literally NEVER VOTED BEFORE to go out & REGISTER AND VOTE for these politicians.

NEVER-EVER UNDER-ESTIMATE THE POLITICAL INFLUENCE OF HOWARD.

BE SURE TO TAKE TIME TO WRITE HIM & THANK HIM FOR HIS RON PAUL MENTION. If you didn't thank Leno, Make Sure you write STERN!

I'm warming up to Howard Stern

Truthfully I never gave Stern much credit for talent to make me laugh, but I'd always defend his speech rights -- and now here is evidence he is smart. To wit: He has discovered and is interested in Ron Paul!

I especially like the last line of this clip, saying of Dr Paul: "This guy should be getting more air time." So invite him, Howard!

But realize Stern is an entertainer first, with ratings on his mind, and he may try to provoke -- with a P-word joke suggested elsewhere here, for example. I just hope someone with the campaign will think ahead about this and advise the good doctor so he's not caught off guard if an appearance does evolve.

http://howardstern.com/

http://howardstern.com/

Go to contacts and write to Howard about Dr. Paul, like 150+ Canadians just did from Toronto...

Great idea & here's another

Sounds like Howard Stern has just recently started hearing about Ron Paul & he already really likes him.

Did you know Donna D'Erico (former Baywatch etc.) formally endorsed Ron Paul's campaign? She's on myspace & Ronpaul.com youtube with a videotaped endorsement.

You know how Howard loves Baywatch girls. Wonder if she'd go on Howard Stern to talk about Ron Paul?? (She calls Dr. Paul "her hero.")

Ideas to contact?

I think this may be the ideal compromise.

Getting Donna and Liv/Mona Gillen and maybe about half a dozen other *really* good looking "Ron Paul girls" on the show might do us more good with less "risk" than putting Dr. Paul himself on the show, even though I think that would be ideal. Ideally the girls could go onto the show with Doug Stanhope and they could all berate show-conservative Scott DePace.

For some reason, people here fear Stern's show, but they should know he's an excellent interviewer once he gets past the sex-stuff everyone's both obsessed-with & horrified-by. If the Stern show were just about sex as critics say, then Howard wouldn't be making over half a billion dollars. Howard has talent.

Hell, IMO the ideal way to confront all the racism BS would be to let Daniel Carver (KKK nutcase & show regular) call in and just talk honestly about it. But that's going to take a very gutsy decision, just like going on the Stern show. Unless you listen to the show daily like me, DON'T bother Fred. He already knows all he needs to know about this and we DO NOT want to piss Fred off.

The folks we need to contact instead of Fred are in the official campaign. The thing to say is "you just got an endorsement, albeit in filthy language, from the most listened-to host out there, but for some reason the campaign had already pulled GOOD ads you'd been running on that very listened-to show. Why? And why not pay Howard extra to read a good commercial about Ron Paul if he's saying such nice things, anyway? He'd probably omit the f-word if you asked nicely & wrote a big-ass check!"
JMR

yes - we sent him YouTube clips

We here in Vegas, sent YouTube clips of Dr. Paul to Howard Stern. Specifically ones on no IRS & free speech. As all H. Stern fans know he detests the income tax & cannot stand the FCC. He has had a career-long battle with the FCC which is why he went to satellite radio. He helped get 2 politicians voted into office. Stern should not be ignored.

As for Donna D'Errico (who is that)? - that sort of publicity might detract from the seriousness of running for presidential office. Baywatch is a fantasy, not reality. For all endorsements & support mentions, go to www.RonPaul2008.com.

If the RP campaign had to buy media time to reach millions of listeners on the Howard Stern show, they couldn't get a better endorsement.

I hope RP will be a guest on Howard's show. Hope he can stand the... well, you know.

Do ya think maybe Hannity

Do ya think maybe Hannity put him up to it?

I'm sure he can stand it

Think about where he's been working for 10 terms. If he can handle that, he can handle Howard. :-)

if you dont listen to howard you dont have any idea what this is

Guys, for about a week I have been saying to myself we need to start a website to buy air time on the howard stern show. I can't believe it! I am jumping up and down. Understand this... No matter what your opinion is on Howard Stern, he has the ears of nearly 10million dedicated listeners who trust and I dare say obey him. He has made millioners of girls gone wild, he has taken companies from an annual income of $100k a year to $100million (I know this from experience).

Don't overwhelm him, let it trickle in. If we are too forceful he won't go for it, but if true Howard Stern supporters actually make a call talk the shit and support Ron paul on air it will revolutionize this revolution.

I love howard, but if you think people in this country are brainwashed by the mainstream media.. your right and people are gleefully entertained by Mr. Stern every morning.

Howard stern can single handedly convince tens of millions of 14-35yr old men over night. This is an opportunity we can not waist. We have to be creative, smart, and ready. I think it is time for ronpaulonhowardstern.com fundraising for ad's to be ran on the show. If we put a little bit of cash in Sirius pockets, Howard will take it from there.. There is no way to loose. If we had howard before Iowa, we may have WON IOWA.
