If there is a violent uprising, what guarantee do you have that Ron Paul would then lead the nation. None. It was fortunate those like George Washington did not sieze power but wanted power to be held in balance. Look at Somalia and the warring tribes with the military controlling one of the tribes. Not everyone wants to give up on the government created by the founding fathers. Chasing Hannity does not help. Getting on Leno, that helps.

I have guns etc.. but the last resort of tyrants is violence. This is what happend in the French revolution.. The streets were filled with blood.. I mean not just a couple of behedings but even the founders of the revolution were not revolutionary enough for some.. so they lost thier heads.. Thomas Jefforson loved the French revoloution but relised it had its excesses.

Ron Paul advocates if your going to resist do it peacfully. You apparently do not share his views. Take your fighting words somewhere else... not on the campaign to get Paul elected sight.. you post is counter to Pauls views.. and in lite of his decision to work from within the sytstem you can be as manly as you want.. go for it.. but relize it will end badly..

I have advocated moderacy many many times here when people get upset at whatever and want to lash out at someone, but it's not out of any lack of "masculinity" - it is STRATEGY. It is THINKING about the likely RESULTS of those actions. How many times has the media tried to paint Ron Paul supporters as an angry mob (or terrorists!??), and how many potential Ron Paul supporters have we lost because of it? How many people here saying we need to "quit being nice" will be at polling locations in New Hampshire at closing time to find out the vote totals, or to request hand-recounts at the places that use voting machines? Maybe you don't live anywhere new New Hampshire - but will you do that in your own state?

Hey, I think we (and HQ) DO need to be more vocal and assertive, but we have to be SMART about it remember STRATEGICALLY how those actions will play out. When the guy threw the snowball at Sean Hannity, did he think what the repercussions of that would be, that he was representing Ron Paul supporters and that Hannity would run a clip of it on national TV? I don't know what the fall-out from that will be, I don't think it will hurt us really, but that's not the point. It's about thinking about results. The status quo has great influence within the mass media, and can use it to their advantage. Do David Rockefeller and Rupert Murdoch go out and throw snowballs at Ron Paul? Of course not, they use the media, they think about ways to marginalise him, they use STATEGY. We're not in the 1st Revolution, with colonists and red-coats shooting at each other. This is the 2nd Revolution, and it will be fought entirely differently.

The BEST Xmas present I recv'd this year was Judge Napalitano's book, A Nation of Sheep. I hope the day NEVER comes, where we are forced to stand against our own Un-Constitutional government, but the 2nd Amendmant was created for that purpose. The more the media ignores Dr. Paul and the collective power of the r3VOLution, the more I feel like standing out on my deck at night and howling like a wolf! I doubt I'd be the only one!

The time for violence isn't yet, and lets hope it never comes to that. But you still need to prepare. If you don't own a gun you need to get one. Get a decent supply of ammo. Learn to use the weapon. And that means learn to use it in more situations than just shooting a paper target at 21 feet. If you have to go out in the middle of nowhere and setup targets. Make sure it's legal to shoot where ever you go. And of course make sure you know what you are shooting at and what is behind it. If you live in a state where you can't do this then you need to move.

We still have plenty of valid ways of getting our freedom back that don't involve violence. First off make sure EVERYONE you know votes. Our biggest source of voters are the majority of Americans who don't vote. I never have understood them. They don't vote because they feel the two major parties don't represent them. Well then vote for the 3rd party guy. There is always one. If all of those non voters would vote for the 3rd party guy we wouldn't have to put up with the Democans and the Republicrats anymore.

Join freedom oriented organizations. The NRA, GOA, local gun rights clubs, whatever. If things get bad you will first see states attempting to succeed from the union. So knowing local people with the same views about freedom as you will help.

Lets give peaceful resistance a chance. I understand the frustrations and fears, they are valid and for good reason. But we need to keep our wits about us and use the legal and political solutions we have available to us while we still can.

This has nothing to do with masculinity. I find Ron Paul to be one of the bravest men I have ever known of. We need to clone Ron Paul and get freedom-loving individuals with integrity and intelligence into key positions throughout society and politics. That would be far more powerful than angry testosterone. There may be a time for that, but its not right now.

Earlier my husband said that the only way we can take this nation back is by getting the support of the military and demanding that this country be given back to the people of the United States. I am hopeful for this revolution to work but if it does not, we are going to get more of the same. When the majority of Americans can not afford to live things will change but it may be too late. during Martial Law in communist Poland as a small boy I saw an official spokesman of the military in power being chased by angry demonstrators up to the hotel.He had to enter through back entrance and there where many cops ready to shoot us.To me that image personifies Freedom.Those that complain about Hannity protest are ignorant and with little or no passion for change in this country.

This morning one of you posted a link to todays WorldNetDaily, headlines reads, "Swat team takes 11 yr old at gun point". The incident took place 90 miles down the rode from me. Well folks, that incident put me over the top.

First I went and talk to the Sheriff and told him all about it. I told him many things today. I told him we knew about the Urban Warrior Project and I asked him what he thought about those Blackwater ads in our local classifieds....they're hiring here you guys. The Sheriff didn't know that the Supreme Court took the 2nd Amendment case and will be ruling in June. I told him I felt like I was being terrorized by my own government. I also told him the first Swat member through the door would have taken a bullet from me and then the other four would have shot me....someone is going to get killed....he gave me a concealed weapons license and he knows what I carry. He assured me NO ONE was taking anybody's guns in this county and if it came to that it will be "Live Free Or Die" around here.

Second stop, The Editor....I went straight in and asked to sit with his butt too and brought him up to speed. I also have him chasing the above mentioned story....I'll keep you posted if I read anything. He was clueless about everything! Immigration, Trade Deals, Executive Branch, you name it, he was clueless.....

Third stop, Clerk & Recorders Office, spent about an hour bringing her up to speed... She assured me our country will be using paper ballots.

Fourth Stop, Ex-Sheriff, brought him up to speed.

Fifth, on a phone - a dozen phone calls to my constitutional friends. I also called all the gun shops in the area (I know them too) and brought all of them up to speed as well.

I stopped at the grainery and then went and handed out slim jims in front of the supermarket with grandson in tow in his wagon. It was 20 degrees here today.

When I say I brought everybody up to speed what I mean is I brought everyone up to Ron Paul today....I got their votes. Oh, I also got a local doctor to put his sign in his window.

What I learned is that it took a major case of road rage running through my blood that got me to take my local "establishment" on. I was amazed how easily I hooked these guys. They didn't know much about many issues. I encouraged everyone today to turn the televisions off and get on the net.

Oh, I went to the Elections offices today too. She said, "Oh, I'd vote for him but they say he can't win". Well, you can imagine where I went when I heard that statement.....brought it all back to the controlled media.

They are believing everything they hear and it's going to take each and everyone of us to set the story straight in our communities.

And yes, I even did the sign thing, big ones, put 4 our.

I'm 53 and semi-disabled....amazing what an old woman can do when she's pissed.

I also made arrangements to run full page colored ads in both local papers, one here and one in Steamboat Springs. I want to run the picture of Dr. Paul wearing his doctor outfit carrying the baby wrapped in a flag. This is how I want to introduce him to my town. They want $1,700 bucks for the ads for one day......that's why I want to keep in touch with the bankrupcy lawyer on this site....

Get mad but don't get even......get ahead. Our local law enforcements, everywhere in this nation are being infultrated by mercenaries who I'm sure will not obey order when given by the sheriff but rather will listen to the President.

Locked and loaded and I sure hope some of you that are younger than me get our tomorrow and terrorize all of you local elected officials.

I meet with the Commissioners in the morning......I'm just warming up guys and I want you all to know how much I appreciate all of you.

The people saying this is bad for us are the ones that need to get off their A$$ES and DO SOMETHING! We are not going to get our country back by politely asking for it. WE NEED TO DEMAND IT BACK AND SHOW THAT WE WILL NOT PUT UP WITH THEIR SH1T ANYMORE! Those in power are threatened by the fact that we will rise up and kick them out of their ivory towers. They are NOT threatened by us politely asking for it back because all they have to do is rig the election. If they KNOW what ends we will go to in order to get our country back, they will be much more hesitant to deny Paul the election. WHY? Because they don't want to risk losing the power over both the legislative AND executive branches, that's why. We want the establishment to KNOW that if we are provoked, we will act. THAT is how we will prevent a REAL revolution is by showing the lengths that We The People are willing to go for FREEDOM.

We all need to realize the power that such a LARGE group of supporters has. I'd bet, especially after RP takes NH, there will be throngs of people interested in him that will do their own research to find out why us supporters are being called "lunatics". Do you really think all those NH voters will change their mind because they saw this? On the contrary, those "Live free or die" supporters will probably get a boost in numbers because of it!

Even someone who has no idea about RP and his supporters will go on the internet to find out why everyone is calling us crazy. 30 seconds searching the internet for him will change their minds real quick and show how we are all loving, caring individuals who just want our country back. Then they will wonder why the media is bashing us all and discover the truth about them as well. THEN they will tell their friends! THIS IS HOW THE SNOWBALL EFFECT WORKS, PEOPLE!

Mark my words. NH will GALVANIZE this nation when RP takes the win, then EVERY negative comment about us CRAZY supporters WILL NOT MATTER because the major news outlets will have lost all credibility.

I love you all and am so proud to be a part of this, but know that getting out there and showing that you are willing to leave your PC and physically get out there and ACT is REALLY what scares the burger builders. Ron knows that it matters not how far he gets, because the die has been cast. The cat is way out of the bag and never coming back. There are plenty of men who will make a stand if that time ever comes many with combat experience and training. Now is not that time and hopefully it will never come. It took the founders 20 years to arouse enough sentiment before they had enough support to go to war and they exhausted every peaceful means first. doing such without a majority sentiment would be foolish and it is not needed we can do it peacefully if we get that majority sentiment..

Also posting on the internet and tipping your hand is not a very bright idea. Peaceful revolution is still possible and we are far from exhausting all peaceful means, we have only just begun this fight in earnest as a group.

I don't know why all of this talk. On this forum we are trying to get Ron Paul elected. Whatever else you have in mind needs to be done somewhere else. Our methods are to bring about change through peaceful methods and our right to vote.
Why don't you all put your energies into becoming precinct committeemen and delegates? If we aren't delegates, we won't win. That's how we get back at them.

Namecalling aside, I do agree with the point and arguement that "change" no matter what its arena, is usually a painful thing. Ron has himself indicated that we have some "tightening of the belts" to do in order to bring about those things which he is articulating for our country's future.

No true and lasting change came about in this country (or probably any other country either) without "some" group of people standing up and saying "enough is enough" and putting some severe intonations to these words, if not actions to compliment.

While "I" would not have been one of those following Hannity and making a scene, I absolutely and totally understand the (mostly young) RP supporters that did so. THEY (not most of us) are the ones that stand the most to lose should this country continue on its present course. Were I their age, I'd probably be more than slightly "motivated" to do what they did as well. Since when did free speech (no matter how "intimidating") become "violence?" There were no rocks thrown, no one punched or kicked, no one taken to a hospital (or worse), it was simply a very rowdy and ticked-off group of young patriots saying in their own way (colorful though it may have been), "We've HAD IT!"

I would defend these young people's right to do what they did to my death and will NOT apologize for their actions to ANYONE! Put yourself in their shoes, those shoes increasingly being made in and owned by China, Saudi Arabia, Japan, etc and consider the justification of their angst anew.

It gives them an excuse to unleash the dogs, Blackwater, etc. Educating the public, creating alternate infrastructure on the wed. Spreading the message. Creating a base of supporters. These choices will lead to victory. I believe American history includes Jesus. He could have built an Army. He did not. Why? That's the question we need to ask.

Somebody needs to rewrite that speech; we've certainly got the occasion for it.

And nobody wants to be saved by thugs. I think that violence creates what we all know as Blowback. You can look at history many ways. There have been lots of changes in history that were non violent, like Reagen getting in the white house in 1980 or Newt and the Contract With America in 1992. I'm not a a metro sexual or a girly man. But I would actually like to win this election and not just bang on my chest.
