Ron Paul Precinct Leader program needs support!

Hey guys,
The Ron Paul movement is off the ground, yes, but A LOT more people need to be involved, actively canvassing, making phone calls, etc. to raise support for Dr. Paul.
Let's look at the math:
- There's an estimated 180,000,000 registered voters in the U.S.
- There are currently just 3,500 Precinct Leaders handling an average of 500 households each
- If just 51% of the people vote for Ron Paul, that's 62,000,000 some voters (if we're lucky)
What does this mean? We need at least 180,000 Precinct Leaders actively participating just to be doing well. As I said, currently there are only 3,500 Precinct Leaders. That is not nearly enough.
Surely, there are more than 180,000 Ron Paul supporters nationwide?
So here's my plea: If you are a Ron Paul supporter, please sign up to be a Precinct Leader in your area. I just signed myself up last week. Please do the same:

Bottom line: No amount of sign waving, rallying, blimp flying or donations is going to get him elected. We all need to become Precinct Leaders for an actual "Revolution" to happen! We are at a crossroads and the future is in our hands. Whoever our next President will be, let's not look back on 2008 and say we could've done more.

If you want a "real" change for America, than this is a time proven way to help it happen. If your in a meetup group than spread this message. Everyone should be a precint captain. If your "flying solo" than this will give you the tools to help find out who else in your area is a Dr. Paul supporter.
Although not mentioned, I suggest Everyone pay attention to the FEC website after Dr Pauls 4th quarter fundraising results are posted. This will give you the name of everyone in your precint/area that actually donated to Dr. Paul. These are like minded people that you need to network with!!!!
Finally, your goal should/must be to get these people to become Delegates. It sounds scary, but in most cases it is a walk in the park (at least on the local level). If you have a meetup... than Please.... Please discuss your state requirements regarding delegates. Learn the process.... REPEAT.... Learn the process and become involved!

Ron Paul is the only candidate I trust to keep his word in regards to bringing about "real" change. All the other candidates talk about change but we all know how quickly that would "change" once they took office. Mitt, Huckabee, Rudy, McCain, Obama, Edwards, Hilary, all would become typical puppets of the establishment. Not Ron Paul. His record has proven he will defend the Constitution to the end. I, like many of you see we are at a crossroads. Ron Paul is the only candidate that will lead us down the right path. For that, I am willing to sacrifice all.

The people on this site are only a very small representation and they waste their time crying like babies about fraud, crummy official campaign ads, and carrying on like two year olds. They will wave signs and that is good, but when it comes to the real work they hold back. I am equally tired of the stupidity these people display. Praise for snowball throwing, whines about the press, and the likes are the work of immature spoiled brats. Every snowball thrown at Hannity cost us votes. Every complaint about conspiracy cost us votes.
The campaign needs tens of thousands of precinct captains to work inside the campaign and instead all they do is fight the campaign. They are not smart enough to understand they will not win unless they now take their grassroots supporters and move them into the campaign like the campaign is asking for.

Everything you are doing here now has no merit unless you do and you can cry about this also and say lighten up or you can grow up and get to work instead of resisting the campaign, throwing snow balls and cheering them on, whining about the press, (we know already for pete's sake - it's why we're here in the first place), and the other whining and crying and constant demanding like a bunch of liberal children.
Join the damn campaign and do the work they are asking you to do or shut up and take your loss like you deserve it.

Yes.. I have been harping on this...
Get out there. Sign up as precinct captain. You will get the voter rolls for your area which will represent about 1000 voters or about 600 households. They give you a lot of info to help with your canvassing, including how many slim jims you need and what issues are likely to be important to each voter.
In states w/ closed primaries you can focus on the registered republicans. Anyone who has changed affiliation in the last month is probably already a supporter.
When you are done w/ your precinct pick up a neighboring one. Everyone in the meetups should be doing this. The campaign paid a ton of money for these voter rolls, lets use them.
Additionally, we can update the database with information we gather from these folks, including their degree of support to use after the primaries.
Get out there and get signed up.

This is the best way to get the vote out.
Once you are a precinct leader you can get your walking list for your precinct. It is very simple. Get organized with other RP supporters and walk your precinct. Find our supporters and get them out for the primaries.
Just do it. Jump in with both feet and get it done. This is how we can win.

That's right. There is nothing to be afraid of. All you need to do is think about what made you like Ron Paul and share that with as many people as you can. When you find others who seem interested as you were in the beginning, make note of who they are and find some more people, and so on. This is how the Ron Paul movement is being mobilized and the best way to start a "Revolution" that will result in a landslide win in November!
What might be helpful..
I think what would be helpful would be a better description of what actually constitutes a "Precinct Leader." What do you do? What do you get? How much time does it take? Etc.
I'm planning on becoming a Precinct Leader (will do probably at the end of the week when I have a bunch of time to really look into it) but when I looked at the information earlier on the official site, I found it very vague and confusing.
A very descriptive thread or page explaining exactly what a Precinct Leader is, what exactly it is that you do, what kinds of things you get from Campaign HQ, etc. What does this job entail?
I would find it really helpful and (I'd imagine) many others would as well.

Unlike the other candidate's campaigns Ron Paul's is growing exponentially. There are reports coming out now that Mitt Romney cheated via hacked Diebold e-voting machines in the NH Primary. What we need to do to counter this type of thing is increase voter turnout for Ron Paul in powerful numbers. This will require all of us to be dilligent in finding as many Ron Paul voters as possible in each of our communities. I'm setting an insanely high goal for myself of finding 10,000 Ron Paul supporters. But that is what we all need to do if we want a "Revolution" to happen. Nothing will kill my spirit for Ron Paul. I am behind him all the way.

6 on a scale of 1 to 100, 100 being most conservative. You never know what live free or die hard Ron Paul supporter is waiting to hear the message.

Dr. Paul does not have a political machine as characters like Clinton, Giuliana and Obama, etc. do. They all have significant elements of their respective parties who support them. Ron out there in the wilderness. That's alot of catch-up to do.
Let's wait just a day and see what happens in NH. A good result, with all the other publicity lately, will start a big ball rolling. Let's hope that happens.
