Leno Might Have Started a "Sanjaya Effect"
America loves an underdog. America will also rally around a person who has been undeservedly mistreated. Jay Leno represents a major part of America. He made it clear to everyone that he was pissed at the way Ron Paul was treated by Fox News. If Jay Leno says that he would want to "kick some ass" if it happened to him, you know it's something that is really resonating with him and many other Americans.
Do you remember the other season of American Idol when many people began questioning the voting system for the show. They thought it was rigged and the producers already knew who would be the winner ahead of time. Howard Stern began promoting a website that promoted the idea of trying to mess with the American Idol voting system as a protest. They made a big push to have people vote for this awkward looking contestant that didn't have much talent. His name was Sanjaya.
I find it interesting that yesterday, Howard Stern really praised Ron Paul on the air. Will this "endorsement" combined with the Jay Leno underdog effect come together to create a big protest vote?
Who doesn't want to stick it to "the man" or the establishment and say "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more" ? What better way to do that than to vote for the only man running who has the establishment so afraid that they are keeping him out of the debates.
I'm hoping that Ron Paul's appearance on the Leno Show will be the spark that makes people wake up and take a look at what's going on. Maybe they'll see that a vote for Ron Paul is a way they can let Fox News and the MSM know that they are on to their shenanigans.
Ron Paul might be quirky looking like Sanjaya, but once people get past that, they'll see that he is the real deal and has what it will take to get this country back on the correct road. The "Sanjaya Effect" might be what is needed to get Ron Paul on to the next level where people will begin actually looking into what he is saying.

What is a SanyaJaya effect??????????????//
What the hell is a Santa Jaya effect? You mean Santa Clause?
Coming in 3rd!
MSNBC has him in 3rd place for New Hampshire
You are right
Jay Leno was awesome last night.
And it will really help Ron Paul.
There's a big difference
There's a big difference between the two: Sanjaya was a no-talent @$$-clown; Dr. Paul is an intellectual genius, and he is quite talented. I wouldn't even compare the two.

Didn't we do the Sanjaya bit already?
It didn't do well last time.
Digg it.

Why wait
for the campaign to do an ad on Howard Stern? Perhaps it should be done by us.

'Cause the whole worlds got to be just like us

POLITICIAN GONE GENIUS
affirmation: President Paul 2008
I love someone's post stating Dr. Paul is a "politician gone genius."
He's courageously fighting for us all.
Pray for his strength, health, safety and well-being; I love that guy:)
Something's technically-wrong. Comments not-appearing.
No text (why bother, this one'll probably vanish, too!)

The American People are too stupid to vote for Ron Paul
I had very high hopes the U.S was ready for Ron Paul but after the two primaries I think the only way they will appreciate the Dr. is when we have hyper inflation or involved in WWIII. After all, the founders did not believe in the gold standard until their experience with the continental dollar. Some of the events that have amazed me concerning the voters are:
Obama - they think he represents change he voted for the Patriot Act and funding of the war
McCain is truly a mad man 100 years in Iraq. He voted for the Patriot Act, Immigration Bill, and is against tax cuts.
Huckabee does not have an original idea in his head. He raised taxes in Ark., college scholarships to illegal’s and 30% flat tax that is revenue neutral. I think Huckabee receives honors for the worst statement of all the candidates. When he made the” we broke it we own it” statement and how we have to remain in Iraq for honor I thought he was a moron . The sad thing is this idiotic and horrible statement is what began his surge.
I think a person like Ron Paul comes along once in a person’s lifetime. It is sad that he is 72 and this is his last hurrah. I will continue to do my sign waving every Sat. in Florida in hopes dumb people become smart.
Sadly, I have to totally agree with you
I feel your pain. You have expressed my exact thoughts. But I too am willing to plug away in the hope that sooner or later people will finally wake up. I don't want it to be said that I did nothing.
Long live the Revolution.
But the guy who actually DID

The Sanjaya Effect is still named "Howard Stern," and I'll note he did that AFTER the move to Sirius. I repeat, the RP campaign needs to buy this ad I've proposed YESTERDAY.

I agree with you on this
I agree with you on this one! 100% start making smart advertisement purchases on this national scale.

Canvassing + Raffle = Viral Ron Paul!
I'll be looking for our ads today.
I'm listening right now. We need to buy the right to re-air yesterday's rant, over and over. And the campaign needs to take the "risk" (won't be much of one...) of going on the Howard Stern show ASAP, preferably with Doug Stanhope in tow. And ideally Daniel Carver can call in and ask racism questions after Howard gets the gynecologist-jokes out of the way. I'm totally serious. The way to face all this stuff is head-on, and Howard's an excellent interviewer.

Ads, first break:
"Incomeathome.com" (get rich scheme)
"Zenutra" (diet pills)
"Lifestyle Pharmaceuticals" (pharmaceutical boner-drugs)
"Better Sex" (sex videotape)
"Slim Tea" (more diet stuff, ad read by Howard!)
Nothing about Ron Paul. Sigh....
