Tip for Patriots......Take Ownership of your Precinct

This is critical especially in rural areas. My precinct in Iowa crushed the competition and so did the precinct to my east. This was a direct result of boots on the ground kitchen table type effort. I understand that in high population areas this can be handled by several people but the fact remains the same.
If you concentrate on your immediate area of influence you can propel our man way up. We had 31 people show up for caucus night in Iowa and 17 voted for Ron. The point I am tring to make is that you need to take ownership of your precinct and do all that you can to get as many folks to get out to vote. You are the General of your precinct. It is your personal battlefield - OWN IT :). Some of you will have more toops to work with, Great. Break them up into squads and cover larger precincts in highly populated areas. For everyone beating the streets, you can't beat heart to heart conversations.
Those in rural areas, I believe this is most critical. Where ever you are Invite folks over and share videos, use the local radio stations and have a local meetup to handle sharing Ron Paul in a way the media has not, have a party, etc. This works.
I know this has been addressed before by others and myself in previous posts, but I think we need to redouble our focus now that the voting has started.
Remember..... Just because the voting has started, Our work is not done. No on the contrary, there are other that can still be won over to Ron Paul and efforts should be ramped up in all states left to yet have their primaries.
With the Iowa Caucuses over I can't help but try and cheerlead the rest of the troops on and share what worked from my precincts perspective. We got Ron Paul 3rd in Jackson County. Again we had a 2-1 ratio of Paul Votes for the precinct (5) that I had the most face to face kitchen table direct effort in.

and keep on keepin on. Everyone who want to see Ron Paul as President needs to pledge to show the DVD from the DVD Bomb Guys and the Freedom to Facism Movie to as many people as possible so that the pledgee can claim that they converted at least 5 different people to join Ron Paul. Once they sway those individuals to come on board, those individuals also need to pledge to do the same.
This should do two things. Drive a huge groundswell of momentum for Dr Paul and it will open the eyes of the electorate.
Those two movies are ideal for a 1-2 punch. they are both just over an hour long. Invite some friends over or set up a viewing at your local library, announce it on the local radio stations. Whatever, just get new people in front of these two movies and let them do the work. The rest is easy.
Congratulation to the troops on the ground in NH. I know how you feel. After coming home from the Caucus I was crushed to see the news because that was not the reality of my caucus location. But we need to move on. Again Hats Off to the troops.
For those who are key board campaign quarterbacks - Get of your rear ends. I have a post here that has some tasks for you to do. These tasks out weigh emails to fox or pundits or boycots etc. you cant complain about the vote if you have not turned out anyone other than yourself or your immediate family for that matter.
Its not hard to show these movies. Its actually a good time seeing people wake from slumber.

Come on guys, get your lists, split it up between personal letters to the neighbors, phone calls and door to door. When you sign up to be Precinct Leaders, you will see other RP supporters in your county who have done the same. Then you can call them and network. Maybe they can offer suggestions, or help you canvass your precinct.

You gals and guys are all awesome. Your the movers and shakers of this campaign. More effort = more votes. For all of you who are actually making a difference and an honest effort to get voters to the polls I am honored to be a part of your team :)
Money plays a big part and I thank all those that have contributed but we need more than that.
If you have not gotten 5 people to go to the polls than make that your goal. if you have already gotten that or more then raise the bar for 5 more. Just like the money bombs, lets do the people bomb thing. set your goals higher. Thats how we win!

I purchased video piggy
and downloaded and converted the file to an avi and burned it myself. Worked great.
I imagine there are other tools that will do the same thing but I was in a hurry and did not want to take the time to search for the best tool. It was cheap and I got what I needed and was able to show that Movie. We had 20 people sit riveted to my laptop, they laughed and I watched them raise their heads in agreement with things said on that DVD movie.

I think we will win our entire county. All I have to do is get the Ron Paul people informed and away from their computers long enough to vote. I have been handing out infor on ocrners and putting up signs here in West Virginia. Many Ron Paul supporters seem to busy to do much. I guarantee I am more busy than most of them. Will we be to busy when our freedom is gone?

We have covered almost our whole precinct with lit. We have about 30 houses left. So, we have decided to take ownership of our county. I contacted the county clerk to get the list of registered voters. We plan to blanket the area with lit. Door to door, old fashioned campaigning. Our campaign is the only one doing it here. My sons mentioned quite a few people that said no other candidate's campaign had dropped off lit and that any campaign that had people excited enough to do so was worth looking into. Older people hadn't heard of Ron Paul. They aren't on the internet.

Just remember, literature is great if thats all you can get in their hands.
But if at all possible show the New Hope video or get them the DVD Bomb DVD so they can get more input. You have no idea how much the video turns people around immediately after watching them. They go from "He is not someone I would consider" to "you know, maybe I should look closer look at him I like some of his points" :).....At that point you keep them hooked up to the Ron Paul teet till they see the light. Sorry for the Cow analogy but you get my drift.
Unfortunately Literature can only go so far, lots of time they intend to read it and if their house is like mine, it gets burried under the rest of the mail pile and can be forgot or just discarded.
But I commend you on your efforts and will continue to pray for all you Patriots who are in the trenches.
