Whatever Happens Today...

Whatever happens today in New Hampshire, I intend to do my best to further intensify my efforts. Whatever the results, I intend to commit even more deeply to the possibility that this campaign offers. I plan to participate more not less.

I notice that the sinking feeling of discouragement is just not productive for me. It does not work for me. It zaps my energy and my effectiveness every time. It is just way too distracting.

I am holding the thought that we are going to do great today! If I find myself feeling discouraged by any results, I plan to turn that feeling into more courage and more resolve. It can only help.

I see that when I give power to the ups and downs of outer news, I diminish my own power and effectiveness in making a difference. I intend to continue to catch this when it happens and redirect my focus.

I am not suggesting here that anyone else should take this position. I am simply declaring my own intentions.

Thank you all for your amazing contributions and hard work!

The campaign gives you all the training you need. For anyone who is sitting on the sidelines thinking about helping, take the plunge!!! I told my kids I am back to school, learning about political science for the first time.

Needs to finish at least in 3rd

I've been supporting Ron Paul for about 6 months now. I love his
message but I realize that he has a lot of shortcomings when
it comes to looking presidential. Im not looking to jump ship
here but I think Ron Paul needs a huge showing today.

Without the MSM attention he is going to be pushed aside and
labeled as unelectable and a fringe candidate. We saw that this
past week. He got 10% of the vote in IOWA and yet almost no mention of
him.

Anyway, his campaign is very grassroots and thats okay except
you have some crazy supporters emailing Glenn Beck with threats
and chasing after sean hannity like a crazy mob. These kind of
revolutionary activities hurt Ron Pauls message.

Anyway, If he comes in 5th place today I think Im going to pull away
from this campaign. I will still vote for him in my states primary, but I think
my active participation in the campaign will stop.

He needs to win. Plain and simple. Ideas dont mean anything to the
elites. And if Paul doesnt win his ideas will be buried. Trust me on this.

alright, well I hope the results will show something positive one hour from now.

This Momentum Cannot Be Stopped.

I have a different take on this.

This campaign is not just about Paul's ideas, this is about the ideas and ideals of millions and millions of Americans. It is about the ideas and ideals of the Founding Fathers.

The ideas of many of us are not buried, just because they are not being shown on television. They burn in our hearts. I have learned so much already in this campaign, my eyes have been opened to many blind spots and cultural programming I did not even know I had!

For me, this is so much deeper that what place Ron Paul gets in one primary.

Discouragement can be seductive. Holding open the possibility for real change can be liberating! Every step makes a difference!

What ever happens - Become a Precinct Captain

No matter what you have to do. Do it!
And talk someone else into it.

It's the only way to win.

A Question

Where is the best place to get practical information on how do this?

We are all on pins and

We are all on pins and needles today (im running on very little disturbed sleep). I find it that when you look at mainstream news and see lack of Ron Paul, you do kind of get bummed so that's why we need to work 10x harder to plaster the whole frickin' world with Ron Paul. Why... Why in the hell are we fighting for the frickin' constitution when it's what people take oath to. It's sad. But it must be done. If not, the constitution and bill of rights become null.

Even after the campaign when Ron Paul wins I think we should all keep fighting for individual rights, such as the internet, our rights and the old republic. The internet privacy issue is a BIIIIIIIIG one for me.

I'm not a person to easily back down when I stand for something. So after the presidential elections, you can expect anti-FOX signs and internet freedom signs to go up. =)

Look at it this way..

The establishment is out do do Ron Paul in.........for reasons we Paul supports understand. He'll put an end to their ShangriLa. Many people don't understand this, nor care. That's a bad omen for our Countrymen. But, I think if we exercise patience, the Big Media Candidates guys are going to start tripping over themselves, and run out of money. I don't think any of them have any grassroot contributors. They can't all stay in. Here's the difference. Ron Paul can! If we continue to fund the campaign, and by all means, he should take any federal matching money that is available.......then we can keep him in there until the bitter end. Then, they will be faced with going eyeball to eyeball with Ron Paul.........and brother, the Truth doesn't flinch! It'll be time for American's to put up, or shut up and go quietly into submission.

Even after the campaign

I hope we will all keep orgainzed and keep efforts moving forward regardless of the results of this entire campaign... No matter the results. Dr. Paul will need our whole hearted support to DownSize DC when elected... and if we don't reach that goal this year, the USA will need us even more!

In this for the long term.

Yes, we have to keep our efforts at 100% now and also think about doing this long term. This is about today's Primary but it is also about many months and years ahead. It is clean up time!

Good attitude

Friends, don't let all this get to you. My understanding is that in Iowa Ron may have gotten more of a boost than 10% in Iowa since everyone left after the vote and he might have clean up on the elected delegates. We may be pleasantly surprised in NH too. Keep up the good fight.

in my precinct...

....we stayed after and i believe we got 75 % of the spots to be voted on for delegates.

I whole heartedly agree...

I whole heartedly agree with you on this. We ALL need to stay strong and focused on our task of getting the good Dr. elected. We can't be distracted from this task. Conspiracy theories and the hit jobs only serve to divide us. Please, please, PLEASE stay focused on the goal!

Yes!

I believe we have much more in common than we think.

In sitting down to write a post, I like to ask the question: "How can I make the greatest possible contribution to our common goal?" Every moment counts!

Distractions can so easily hijack a noble effort. Holding our focus gives us traction and moves our efforts along.

I would love to have posts sorted into more categories on this site so we each can find what we want to focus on faster.
