Nice to see...

Dr. Paul with a Sign Language interpreter. I'm not hearing impaired, but the state school for the deaf is in our city, so I see a lot of deaf people around town, and am aware they're a real constituency who deserve to be, well, heard (but not by government fiat). And I love to watch the interpreters; they're like dancers.

Thank you so much for the lead into the subject site.
The Meet Up Groups in the Chicago area have to be very proud of the meeting they put together. The crowd was huge, very enthusiastic and Dr. Paul was his usual "Fantastic.

The other night I went to the Broward Center and Dr. Paul handled the questions very well. In fact, on the very fast yes and no questions he probably hit the green light faster than any of the other participants. He also was the only one that hit at least five red buttons signifying No with the gasps coming from some of the crowd. Dr. Paul is a gutsy guy, who understands the situations existing in this country and follows through on his principles.
Just about every other candidate, playing to the audience, did not press any No lights. Politicians love to make their audiences happy and those on the stage, with the exception of Dr. Paul, rather than being real men preferred to take the easy way out and vote with the crowd.

After the Broward Center Debate we went over to the Riverwalk in Ft. Lauderdale and without a doubt it gave me goosebumps with the tremendous excitement of our 100 plus crowd. Dr. Paul gave us a rousing talk and the group went wild. There is a lot of love going around for this man

Maybe there is a bright side ....

Perhaps the 'system' is trying to be accessed by Many Multiples more than were expected.... :)

Yeah, Windoze only

At our last local Meetup, it became apparent that a large percentage (far more than the official "3% market share" -- hmm, where have I seen that figure before?) of the members -- including the organizer/founder -- were Macintosh computer users. Ironic that we're barred from seeing Dr. Paul by yet another fascist, "get-with-the-program-or-kiss-our-butts" Windoze-only website.

Of course, Linux and other Open Source computer folks are also out of luck. Serves us right, I guess?

There's no technical reason for this; it's just more programmer laziness cum majoritarian herd mentality. In other words, just what the Ron Paul Revolution is fighting, in a nutshell.

I too hope the campaign didn't pay actual money for this.

Windows is the best

Windows is the best operating system. I know, mac is trash and linux beyond hosting is trash. Just installed vista 64 bit and it works like a charm. If you have the best product, then you will prosper, that is free market.

Ron Paul 08

that's your opinion, not a fact

You may think Windows is the best, but I think Linux and Mac OS X are a lot more stable than Windows. I to hope that the campaign didn't spend any money on this web site.

Streaming

I'm getting video of the podium. The flags appear to be moving some. There are speakers speaking, but there is no one at the podium. They may just be playing videos right now that we can't see.

I'm using Windows Media Player. The address is:

Good luck to us all!

Rather than just complain...

...let me also give a useful suggestion. There's a great solution that requires no special plugins on the user's end and is cross platform and stable. If someone from the official campaign reads these posts, please check out http://www.vx30.com/

(No, I don't work for them.) :-)

- Hans

"Give me ambiguity, or give me something else..."

Only works on Windows...

...which, as a Mac user, makes the site useless to me. Standards, people! There are lots of ways to stream video that work great and don't require a particular browser or operating system. I hope they don't use this service again.

"Give me ambiguity, or give me something else..."

I hope the campaign didn't

I hope the campaign didn't spend good money on this.

<_<

Am I the only one thinking...

#include cstdlib
#include iostream
int main()
{
printf("hello world!");
return 0;
}

helloworld

I was able to connect for a few terrible seconds with no audio and then it went ahead and crashed.

It's working now, but poor sound

and in the time it took to write the title of this post, it crashed again. Sound is terrible... all crowd, impossible to understand the speaker.

Dictator Bush

What can we do about the bill passed last year that will be enacted next week that will allow bush tocall anything an emergency and enact Martial Law on the USA?

I can't believe this slipped right by for a year!
