Hi fellow liberty lovers! Been hanging around this site since it started, eventually got an account, and now I'll try out this blogging business. Also, going to be keeping an eye out for goodies for the front page. This, alongside the campaign site itself and of course ronpaulforums.com, is one of the best resources we have, and I'm glad to take part.

Right now, I'm listening to Dan Rather on Larry King discussing corporate meddling in news reporting, link is below. That's a reality we've all had to deal with over the last several months, and it's interesting to see a newsman with Rather's weight calling 'them' out, even if it is about a different set of circumstances. I'm about to find out whether the pattern of ignoring the Doctor extends to this little town, as our local meetup and county and regional efforts get more organized and focused.

Which reminds me, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Bob Shrader. 9 months ago I would have never put my full name on anything I posted on the internet. But today I'm proud to support Dr. Paul and the core goals and beliefs all of us stand for, in our individual ways. I'm a 27 year old IT contractor, and I live in Parkersburg, WV. That's right on the Ohio river, where the Little Kanawha joins up. The apartment I share is now eastern WV HQ, as my roommate Molly is county coordinator and I'm Ohio Valley regional coordinator. My cats are named Ronnie (female) and Paul (male). And today I'm going to a health foods event at the park to promote RP's health freedom legislation, opposition to the drug war, and the miserable, fully discredited 'PATRIOT Act'.
