Ron Paul at Whole Health Expo
In the spirit of giving credit where credit is due, I wanted to mention my good friend Liz Comeau who came up with the idea of having Ron Paul outreach tables at the health shows.
What a great idea since Ron is an advocate of medical freedom!
I am pleased to see her get fired up about organizing yet another phase of outreach in the campaign.
So, while many of us were rallying across the street at Veteran's Park in Manchester on the 16th of September with our super-duper portable outdoor Ron Paul booth, decked out with the free balloons thanks to Kate Marshall, Liz was across the street at the Radisson Hotel with her son Alex, promoting the 'good' Doctor. (Oh she came over long enough to vote for sure!)
She had secured a spot at the Whole Health Expo for the weekend. So, here is a photo of Liz and and her son Alex, in the best spot in the place!
Perhaps the person (militant) who commented on this forum who plans on doing a similar type of outreach might want to contact Liz to find out what types of literature she had on the table, as this is her area of expertise. Let me know!
WORKING FAIRS FOR RON PAUL
Here in Hawaii there is an annual Sr. Fair. The GOP always have a booth. We have been invited to take part tomorrow. They are giving out free recipe cards to all the fair attendees. We got permission to make up our own sets of cards with RON PAUL information on the back of each card. There are four different recipes on four different colored cards with four different graphics on the back of each recipe. We took the four, punched a hole and tied the four cards together with a pretty ribbon. This will be something people will not only take home with them, but share with others. Local recipes are suggested. It will also be a great handout for the tourist on Waikiki. It is a hard job working for RON PAUL IN HAWAII----but someone has to do it. We love RON PAUL in the islands. Next year when he is the Republican Candidate, we will have our own booth!!!!!

It's great! We thought of things you could give away to children such as headbands with feathers, sun visors, (for adults too) and balloons printed with the URL and name. However, always check with fair organizers since if there are vendors selling balloons free ones might not be allowed.
Hawaii Sr. Fair
Mahalo for the suggestions. The GOP is running the show and we are trying to show them how sane and organized the supporters of our candidate RON PAUL really are. We have already done swapmeet and other great events where we gave away RON PAUL balloons and bumper stickers and signs. We do sign waving every week at one part of the island or another. Last night we had two different groups of members out at different spots giving out flyers and talking about our RON PAUL to who ever would listen. We are working on getting alot of delegates for the caucas. That means working and playing nice with the GOP here in Honolulu. When RON PAUL is THE CANDIDATE they will play nice with us. :):)
