After Super Tuesday, attrition will winnow the field down to Mitt, maybe McCain, or maybe Huck; Rudy is toast, as is Fred, and Dunk (all Dead Horses Rinnin'). Relax people - Let it happen - it Will! The survivors will face RP!!!!!
All of the armchair 'strategists' who get their jollies pontificating, and bask in this short spot of fame on DP will have far less to bellache about within two weeks. RP has enough $$$$$ in his war chest to have 3rd, maybe 4th, locked up even if he sits on his hands for two weeks (which he won't).
I swear, most of you people have never seen a good fight of any kind, probably out side of the boob tube. If you could see how silly and naive you look, calling for heads, looking for trolls, demanding this and that, why you'd probably crawl back under that rock!

The Ron Paul campaign is going to have to take the gloves off and start exposing some off the weaknesses of the opponents. He also needs to expand his messege. Albeit, the press has given him little opportunity to articulate, but he has some big chances, like on Leno. For instance, why not say something more detailed like:
As we pull our troops in from around the world and reduce the unimportant bases, we'll establish a string of Southern boarder bases along Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California and we'll stop this foreign invasion once and for all........and our guardsmen will really be protecting America, and State economies..........and they'll be close to their families.
Now, here is a simple solution to one of the most talked about problems, and guess what? Nobody else has mentioned this solution. How easy!

Regardless this is why we must keep donating. Money will keep RP in the race while others go broke and drop out. This only gets him more attention and allows his message to reach more people.
Imagine him on a debate stage with only 2-3 other people!
Supporters on blog comments frustrated with anti-war emphasis
On other forums, I have seen numerous individuals who agreed with me that RP hurt himself in the ABC debates by turning every question, for instance on health care, into "we cannot afford our foreign policy".
He may have been accurate about "spending on empire", but the bottom line for many supporters is that RP can win only by discussing civil liberties losses that are real and hurtful to all of us.
His Rasmussen rating went from 14% to 11% after the Saturday debate.
Remember: Hillary Clinton won the anti-war vote in New Hampshire. Don't ask why nor say "that is illogical". My observation is that most anti-war people, with the exception of true RP supporters, are illogical when it comes to explaining why they are anti-war.
I suggest that RP do a TV ad every few days from now until February 5th where he exposes another piece of outrageous legislation from the US Senate of McCain/Clinton.
The ad should be titled "The McCain/Clinton Outrageous Law of the Week".

It's my opinion that Dr. Paul should take the matching funds and use them to run ads clarifying his record against those running against him.
He needs to get negative by pointing out the tax-hikes and horrible voting records of the other candidates - as well as their flip-flopping on many issues.
By casting doubt on their performances as politicians, Ron Paul would be shining light on his principled record.
And as the others would confront Paul on his tactics, this would give the Congressman more time in the press. Dirty Laundry... it works.

I'm tired of these ridiculous predictions....we sound like the idiots who predicted Iraq we be a piece of cake. Umm...we've been wrong about a few things now and i think it's time to end the pointless speculation. Let's just go out there and do the best each of us can. I don't want to hear another pro-paul prediction until after super-tuesday. The goddamn polls were right and all of our and Ron's bitching about it was wrong and got us nowhere...

I will add a postscript to my message and say, “THANK YOU TROLLS” because without them, I wouldn’t have been able to interpret these numbers as a political endgame.
It’s too bad the race was over 40 days before I got to vote… Would’a been fun to vote for someone I enjoy listening to.

It's looking more and more like the pimaries and caucuses are going to mean virtually nothing by the time the convention comes around - all they're doing right now is establishing that there is no front runner. Huckabee won Iowa, McCain won New Hampshire, Romney will win Michigan, Giuliani will win Florida and they'll divide the rest of the scraps between them (and Thompson will win nothing - I reckon he pulls out pretty soon, along with Hunter and Keyes). I think our best chance here is for these a**holes to continue fighting each other and bashing each other while we build support for the convention and get as many delegates as we possibly can to it - under the radar, so to speak.
Is there any way the campaign can fund delegates for this? Can we put some of ths money raised into paying for our devoted guys and gals on the ground to get to the convention and pull the rug out from under their feet at the final hurdle?
As folk have rightly said, the economy is on the ropes and financial analysts and everyone else agrees that Ron Paul would be the best guy to bail the US out of the bottomless pit it's heading for - economically speaking. If we can put a hard core block of delegates at the convention, if we have enough of them in place, then we can stand up above the squabbling 'front runners' and take the nomination from right under their noses. All the other issues will fade to insignificance and people will by crying out for an economist - and that's our guy.
This is too new, unless there is massive voter fraud at play here (and there probably is, but unless we can prove it very very quickly that doesn't matter for this nomination) then it appears that whilst Dr Paul has generated a massive amount of support in a very short time, people aren't well acquainted enough with him and his policies to get enough votes to win the primaries. People recognise his name now but the MSM has done a damn fine job of making sure what they recognise is a candidate who can't win the nomination. So they don't vote for him. Most people don't really look at the issues, so we're up against a brick wall of idiocy here.
Where we can make a difference is at the convention. Far fewer numbers, and people who actually do pay attention to policies and to politics. It'll still be an uphill struggle, but I think that's the fight we stand a better chance of winning.
In the meantime we continue to declare our guy from the rooftops, to give what funds we can and we lay the foundation for the Ron Paul movement to sweep through the government and leave it licking its wounds and wondering where the heck we came from.

I believe in Ron Pauls message. I believe if this honorable man at 72 yrs of age can keep up the constant pace of getting the message of Freedom out, I can stick by his side like glue and continue this fight. I know that the 2nd American R3VOLUTION which is occurring now is going to be the fight of our lifetime, as Dr. Paul knew this better than any of us ever could, yet he agreed to be our presidential candidate. Dr. Paul has had to withstand so much ridicule from the msm and then undertake media blackouts etc... He has been able to take the heat and continue standing strong. Dr. Ron Paul IS my only chosen presidential candidate and with that comes my loyalty to continue to help him get his message of freedom out to the american people. I will continue to donate my money and my time to this patriot and his most worthy message. I am with the Ron Paul R3VoLuTiOn for the duration.

New Hampshire appears to be a DEMOCRATIC state more than anything so realize that Ron Paul is still a contender.
Everybody wants to paint NH as an Independent or Republican state and it is NOT....just look at the number of Democratic votes cast versus Republican.
Perhaps the campaign didn't spend the entire fortune in NH but that doesn't mean his advisers failed him or us. Ron Paul's campaign knows where to spend the time and money.
McCain may have won NH but he is BROKE...in fact he is working off of borrowed money. THAT'S RIGHT. He took out a huge loan just to "work" NH. McCain will run out of funds and fade away fast as will Huckster and Ghouliani.
HANG IN THERE PEOPLE THIS IS JUST ROUND TWO....it means nothing because we have the money and the staying power to carry on and the message will be heard by more voters once the number of candidates gets dwindled down! It happens the same way every four years....an early loss means nothing.

You are SO right. As the field narrows it will be increasingly difficult for the MSM to keep up the blackout. The funds WILL continue to flow into our campaign as this MOVEMENT continues to snowball and more and more Americans become enlightened.
Dr. Paul is the only candidate discussing hard issues that pertain to ALL of us and with less of the other candidates(pretenders) spouting their empty rhetoric, the message will become louder, clearer, and much harder to stifle.

2. Indeed I do feel confident; the battle hasn't even got a good head of steam yet - I swear, no one here seems to have a clue as to the evolution of a long campaign - they ebb, they flow - one day you're up, the next you're down; etc.
3. Unrealistic expectations yeild dissapointment - RP is pumped like you would not believe! He is NOT discouraged, nor should anyone else be. This has advanced beyond his wildest dreams!
4. Hurt us - NOT! Three to four of the current field will not last - that is as clear as the nose... In this game of musicl chairs, hat leaves RP and the other survivors. I predict we will have Money Mitt and maybe one or two butting heads with RP, while all of the pundits marvel over his tenacity, and ability to motivate supporter - i.e. generate Donations. All of the woe-is-me crowd cost donations! Discouraged supportes don't write checks!!!!! Negativity spreads like the plague through the ranks - the enemies of RP know this WELL! They're here, NOW.
5. He should let the press ALL come to him. They will! He's our Golden Boy. There are so many forums left, that this one (NH) will be forgotten just like IA almost is already on the commencement of SC! He should work the plan he has planned all the way through super Tuesday!
6. He should NOT discuss ANY ASPECTS of tactics or strategy in public! nor with us! that's a big DUH! The first rule about fight club is ya don't talk about fight club; Sun Tsu, "The Art of War" is appropriate to learn well. Operational Security is everything. 'Loose Lips Sink Ships' is a Truth, not just a cutesy slogan.
For RP to relent to the genuinley discouraged, or to the damnable sabateurs on RP, would be stupid and fatal. We need to keep gassing his tank in order to fund the campaign all the way through ST. If we're smart, persistent, and very Lucky, we may finish in a position to influence the Convention. If God smiles on us, we could possibly win the nomination, albeit its a long shot.

I cried today when Michael Medved said the doc wrote those horrible words...knowing he hadn't...but that it would cost him votes on this important day. Then I snuck a peak on the internet and saw that the troops were holding it together...not like the Monday meltdown they had had, and I was proud of us!!!
