This pertains to the following comment by Duffmanwwu from another dailypaul blog:
I'm confused....
On January 9th, 2008 Duffmanwwu says:
There were 628 people in the RP Meetup Group in Concord, which is in Merrimack county. But only 385 votes for Paul in that county? What the hell happened there?
There were a few inquires into this in the other blog, but I felt this at the least deserved its own attention. What did happen here? Can you guys do a count yourselves? Our country is depending on you.

not everyone in the Concord
not everyone in the Concord group votes or is from Concord. There were a lot of people helping out who came from all over the countrie. That's what skews all the meetup member #s

In Merrimack Sutton alone, there were 386 votes cast. Merrimack total votes cast was over 25,000.
What ever happened in Merrimack Pittsfield?
Union leader results (http://www.unionleader.com/article.aspx?articleId=a34f309c-4... ) for Merrimack Pittsfield changed so that the vote totals stayed the same but
Giuliani 0->81, Huckabee 8->138, Hunter 0->8, McCain 0->226, Paul 186->70, Romney 0->186, Thompson 0, Others 533->18.
(Paul lost 116 votes. However, there were many zeros in the first report so it could have been a human error.)
Also in Strafford Dover, Romney lost 10 votes.

Comparing the Union leader
Comparing the Union leader (

http://www.boston.com/news/politics/2008/nh/nh_primary_gop_r... ) results, I noticed the following oddities:
Rockingham Newington McCain:-10 votes
Rockingham Rye Giuliani:-10 votes
Merrimack Warner Huckabee:-10 votes
In my earlier post I reported a similar case for Romney in Strafford Dover. I have now observed ten vote decrements for those four candidates.

Who is Other?
Who did 158 people vote for in Concord? Is Other just any write in? How could Other get 2nd with 30% of the vote in Albany County?
Not suggesting any conspiracy, just don't understand how you get 30%, 12% or even 1% of people in any county voting for someone with less name recognition than Duncan Hunter?

Re:
Good question? I will call the New Hampshire GOP directly tomorrow to inquire. Hope others will do the same. Our voices must be heard!
Explanation, but???
Not all meetup members are necessarily voters there. Ron Paul supporters from other areas or states join meetups to share ideas, press people and other campaigns join to monitor the RP groups, and some people who join aren't committed and abandon the group but don't cancel their membership. In my experience about half of the meetup group membership total can be counted on to vote.
That said, I still think it sounds suspicious. It's hard to believe that there wasn't at least several RP supporters in the community for every real meetup member....
Re:
The explanation just doesn't jive, I'm more for the butt??? Afterall, Concord is a fairly large city. I know, I've been there a couple of times. I'm from Seattle, so I know what you're saying regarding members joining from different areas, etc. But how many Ron Paul members abandon the group or cancel their membership? I know you don't see that often out here, and I would venture to guess it doesn't happen much in New Hampsire or anywhere else for that matter. Also, the total number of meetup group members doesn't take into account those members who are married. At any rate, one would expect Concord to have a few hundred voters for Ron Paul anyway, especially after having Operation Live Free or Die canvassing going on. Something looks suspicious to me, and I hope some meetup group members from Concord see this.
Look...
some people are saying that there is no way to verify the vote. If each meetup makes an accounting of everyone they know that voted, it could be compared to the "official" numbers.
The way the word gets out among RP supporters, we could investigate the numbers one meetup at a time. Especially the precincts with small numbers - they should be able to verify.

GOTV focus on the meetup groups then...
move outside the meetup groups as a second step!
that's strange
you'd think there would have been MORE votes than meetup members.
Yeah guys, the Primary was today... WTF?!
