Organizing a Recount - RP'ers PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen up

We may not have to.

I called the campaign yesterday and was told "we'll forward on the information". I wonder if it's getting to Dr. Paul.

We need them to take action.

Rick Adams said that he was going to call Rand Paul to find out what they were planning on doing about this.

Guess we'll have to tune in to RBN tonight to find out.

THIS IS A PREVENTION MEASURE!

We are faced with 48 more cases of potential fraud.

We will take a series of steps to prevent future fraud and A RECOUNT IS ONE OF THEM.

This is a mountain to climb and we must do EVERYTHING to assure we get the delegates we need to succeed.

Appearances? WE ARE TELLING THEM TO GO RIGHT AHEAD AND SCREW US!!!

This has to do with sticking up for yourself and sends a far more coherent and and defensible message than "Oh well....I guess it is OK...I don't want to look like a whiner."

I think there is an ounce of reason to have the NH vote recounted. What would Ron Paul do?? Hhhhmmmm? This is what came to me after pondering. "THE MUTHA OF ALL BOMBS". Ron Paul should immediately make a statement demanding a recount in New Hampshire. Then when asked under what grounds do you see the need for a costly recount! Ron will look right at the camera and say:

"Certainly, We The People should be able to test out what we are paying for in these voting machines. The new voting machines and the issues with tampering that are coming to light only demand of us that we at least test these machines once, before we decide this is the future of voting for us. We must have a recount to ensure we are getting what we are paying for.....furthermore I am certain that these vote machine companies would like to clear their name! We are spending trillions of dollars to ensure democracy in Iraq but will not test drive a system we are trusting our freedoms on!.......come on! "

....."On a final note I am challenging the rest of my Republicans and Democrats running this year to pay for it out of their campaign funds! There is no better way to accomplish this test run of the system than with donor campaign funds, certainly each voter who has donated won't mind having a few cents of what they have given to ensure their vote!...."

...."And on a final note, we don't have to raise taxes to do it" :-)

I've been trying to crunch some numbers to find a pattern, but so far the percentages are too varied. For instance

Precinct #1: Ghouliani - 1454
Paul - 1230
Other - 456 (37% of Paul Votes/4.5% of Total)

Precinct #2: Ghouliani - 418
Paul - 288
Other - 618 (200%of Paul Votes/10% of Total)

Precinct #3 Ghouliani - 388
Paul - 369
Other - 97 (26% of Paul Votes/3.7% of Total)

Those are just some samples out of dozens. But, it is these "Other" votes that in many cases would have put Paul ahead of the Ghouli. Perhaps there is a perfectly logical reason, but I would love to know who the "write-in" candidate was (especially since Tancredo was on the ticket). Of course, I could just be totally wacko.

Why do WE have to do anything. Ron Paul's campaign needs to get of THEIR A$$@#%^ and fight. There are already reports of vote fraud for Ron and Obama. This is not just about him. This is our entire DEMOCRACY. If it can happen in NH, it will happen in the other states. Stop with the Polls. If Ron's Wants to be President and if his Campaign is worth their salt, they better act. If not, we are all wasting our time. We need to treat the Campaign like the Americans wast to treat the Iraq Government. This is All a GAME. FOLLOW ME> ABC is backing Clinton. During a PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE someone brings out the fact that people don't like Hillary (remeber the woman vote). Later MSM reported that she was attacked by Obama and Edwards even though see actually attacked them and Obama did not really respond to her (remember the woman vote). Next, all of a sudden a woman ask Hillary a question that caused her to TEAR UP (remember the woman vote) and immediately afterwards she attacked Obama. Then Fox's newpaper (which backs Hillary) Put out a harsh picture of Hillary on the front page allow with other media outlets (which the CLINTONS have a lot of pull with (remember the woman vote). Next she attacks Obama again (with lies) and Bill attacks Obama (with lies). All of a sudden Hillary comes back with the MAJORITY OF THE WOMAN VOTE. Now if you do research right now you will see there is evidence of VOTER FRAUD right now in New Hampshire. The VOTING MACHINES gave Hillary a 7% advantage over Obama. They have proof that Ron Paul's votes weren't even counted. He actually BEAT Rudy. And to cover there tracks they had to WOMAN who asked Hillary the question say that she voted for Obama. YEAH RIGHT. This is OUR DEMOCRACY that will be stolen from us again. The MSM will not report this. Bush is backing Hillary. The MSM is backing Hillary. They need her to WIN. Make a NOTE* Dick Morris (who was Bill Clinton Brain) told Sean Hannity that the Clintons are going to pull a Sista' Soldja' on Obama ( this is not how you spell her name but who cares). This is a stunt that Bill Clinton used to Beat Jesse Jackson. He played to American's RACISM towards Blacks. Dick Morris said it will be very subtle. NOW- If you listen to all the PUNDITS today, what are they saying. PEOPLE said they would support Obama during the polls but voted for Hillary because they did not want to vote for a BLACK MAN. Since this was a primary and not a public cacus, they did not have to worry about anybody seeing them change votes.

I have the names of the counties used, if anyone is interested.

I can't verify if they are hand counted there and I don't know enough about statistics to say if these numbers are significant, but I will say that RP getting a 97.5% higher by hand, if these counties are a good representative of the whole state set, with 3695 votes being, I think, with in 1.64% plus/minus accuracy looks very odd to my eye.

Listen, I love Ron Paul! However, I feel that if his campaign does nothing about this OBVIOUS fraud then they are letting us down. My reasoning is this...We are out every time we get a chance bustin' our @sses to get him elected, but what for? If we are going to be cheated, what is the point? Honestly. He needs to realize that it's not about the number of votes it is about the PRINCIPLE of the whole thing. Put your place in the evil doer's shoes. "Oooh, they knew we fucked with the vote and still did nothing. We got 'em now." Then they continue to rig the further elections. If he does not stand up now, I truly feel that all hope is lost. He has to let them know that it will not be stood for. He has an excellent reason to do something; HELL, two counties that were reporting ZERO votes had 31 and 25 respectively. If they did it to those two, who is to say that they didn't do it all the way up line with some algorithm. I am a computer programmer and I know how this shit works. BUT, that is beside the point. That would be a bonus. The real deal is to let them know that this is a revolution!! In the revolution, they took turns returning vollies. THIS IS OUR VOLLEY! Period! If it is about the money, who cares, we can raise him more money! Dr. Paul, please do something. These people are mocking you and laughing at you and now they are cheating you! Don't stand for it. It is NOT human error! 1 to 5 votes misplaced may be human error, but not 31 and 25. Please, order a recount! Thank you!

OK, we are a smart, innovative bunch of Ron Paul supporting freedom lovers. We have put Ron Paul on the map with regard to name recognition, we have broken fund raising records, now it is time to change the course of history. We, the people need to put into place a grassroots organization that would protect the vote. We need to put in place honest people (not affiliated with the government- local-state-or federal-) in every voting precinct in every county in every State. These people would observe the vote count in a neutral manner and then report the numbers to a database where the public could have access. This activity would keep the vote honest, and serve to discourage voting fraud. In addition to this, the grass roots could work to implement a voting system that would be more transparent. I think paper ballots are good. I am tired of the same old dog and pony show every 4 years! The clarity of the voting system has been questioned for some time now, let's not talk about it, let's do something!
The Ron Paul people are diverse and talented, I am sure that if we put our heads together, we can implement a program that will used for many years to come. If you are questioning how such a mammoth task can be done, remember, we have a blimp, broken fund raising records, written letters, sign waves, rallies, marches, a large selection of fabulous songs from fabulous and talented artists, an amazing painting from another fabulous artist, sign makers, car painters. If we cannot do this, then no one can! Hillary, Obama, Thompson, McCain, Edwards, Huckaby, Mitt and all their supporters cannot match us for our passion, intelligence, creativity, and devotion to truth, freedom, and the Constitution. I will do anything to help Ron Paul and the grassroots. Anyone with me?

Could we start to write letters to the campaign staff (or send an e-mail)? If that doesn't get them to check this out, could the disenfranchised NH voters (both R and D) start a petition drive for a new primary? I'm broke for the next three months (taxes higher than expected), but I can still help.

Why can't we organize a physical recount of Ron Paul voters and then match our numbers against the totals?

I am for the recount wheather it favors us or not for the priciple of transparrency and future protection of voting. Honest voting is everything and if this campaign can bring light on this issue and its modified, we have accomplished a great deal!!!

According to the videos I've seen (see "Hacking Democracy" at YouTube), if the Diebold machines used a memory card with an executable program on it (as demonstrated by Finnish programmer Harri), this exe program changes the results on the card and then self destructs ("eats itself") as these altered results are loaded into the central tabulator thus leaving no evidence and no true paper trail.

Quite insidious.

I am in New Hampshire and I voted yesterday and the problem is in my town of Wolfeboro we had the Diebold machines. The same identical machines that Bev Harris showed in the documentary "Hacking Democracy" that proved to be easily hacked into in Leon County Florida.

I also volunteered to be a vote watcher by Ron Paul's campaign so that we could hear the people register and scratch off their names on our list and we were told we could not stand or sit behind the registers and were permitted to stay in an area you could not possibly hear anyone register.

After voting we handed the moderator our ballots so that he could put it in the machine. I wasn't happy about this because I wanted to see the LCD numbers on the machine at the time I cast my vote, but I couldn't.

Those numbers did match with what was reported because I got them immediately after they counted the votes.

I think Ron Paul's campaign must challenge this Sutton, New Hampshire issue and I believe, Greenville issue. Once these are questioned it may spark doubt of a lot more incidents.

If we don't do a recount since it would be a waste of energy with basically the same results (give or take) then what about the potential fraud in the 48 other states!? This is about WAY more than NH. I agree if it were only about NH (like the Iowa straw poll) then I'd say let's move on because we know the other states are transparent and or we have it worked out so it will be, but we don't! I'm sitting here thinking I have worked hard like a lot of people here and I have signed up to be a precinct captain in WA state. Now I'm feeling like why should I put in that much effort (not No effort just not a lot of effort) when everything is rigged. Yes I appreciate the pep talks about "The Message" and I agree, but why try to be a delegate or canvass my whole precinct? A recount would reinstate my drive to keep this r3volution going. Otherwise it feels like Viva La "The Message" without the zest of the r3volution

I called campaign headquarters....

They said they are aware of the miscounts but right now they are not going to take action. The person I spoke with said it could have been human error......not sure if he meant CFR human error :-) ......

Anyway, he said they will consider acting if there is more evidence but as of now they are moving on to the other primaries....so guys and gals in NH....get some evidence.....otherwise this energy being spent will be futile.

I realize that voter fraud is a problem, but even if you get this recount, odds are you're going to get the same results.

The exit polls match the outcome. Those who disagree are only looking at the male vote, and not accounting for the female vote which Ron didn't get.

The campaign isn't going to support his movement because it's not worth their money or time.

Everyone needs to suck it up, stop bitching over the (maybe) hundred votes Ron could gain and start working to win the next states.

This is a waste of time and resources for the most part. Just my two cents.

Does the public not have a right to demand a recount, even though the candidates have not asked for one?

we can push for Paul voters who are willing to legally swear to their vote to sign up ... NH meetups can do the legwork to get people who aren't online--their other work is done for the moment.

If we can get a strong showing, all we need is to measure this number against the totals, and we have our recount as it pertains to our candidate.

This can be done in every state! Why couldn't it???
