Glenn Beck - The Real Story, Touching the Third Rail

How easily we forget that he said we should all be locked up for questioning the status quo. He cares about two things: himself and himself. A wolf in sheep's clothing is all - so quit trying to convince us it's safe to let him in the hen house. Wolf is his only friend in the media right now. Why? Because he's renegotiating his contract and RP gives him a ratings boost that he can use as a bargaining chip. No one in big media cares about the revolution because they all sold their souls to get where they're at now. It's sad how excited we get when an a$$ like GB mentions the truth once in a while.

It would be nice to speak on the subject of why are we paying interest to a private bank. They print our money out of nothing and then charge us interest on it. Come on Glenn Beck lets go after the real story. Why does america not print its own money with backing of substance? And where do the taxes we pay realy go?

David Walker is an asset to this country. I'm glad he is being honest. I wish more people were paying attention to what he is saying.

Ron is the only one to warn we will fall from within because of financial problems.

Regardless of one's opinion of (or even knowledge of) Ross Perot, when he was campaigning for President in 1992 he ran infomercial-type ads where using graphs and charts he outlined the shortcomings of deficit spending, etc. Much like our "outside the box" approach to RP's campaign he was mocked for this tactic, however it proved to be enormously successful in raising his support levels. I am hoping there are people out there who have the means and ways to put Mr Walker's interviews/comments into some form of ad to inform the general public about this, or to have HQ look into doing something with him. i have emailed trevor lyman to ask for his help and/or advice. I am also hoping that people on this site can bombard the other RP sites with this video and make it go viral. it is probably the most apolitical issue out there, that regardless of one's party affiliation or philosophical bent on the role of the federal government people can and must agree on. in addition to the interview with Glen Beck, there is an equally good one, perhaps even better one, with Steve Kroft here http://www.youtube.com/wa.... although there is no mention of RP, it does describe the fact that both conservative and liberal groups, with no party affiliation, are out there trying to spread this message. i have sent these 2 videos to everyone i know. so let's make this happen NOW.

Wow, I'm really liking Glenn Beck right now. Maybe I will start listening to his radio show now, since Rush is such a tool.

Beck understands what the priorities of this country ought to be and he is doing the country and Ron Paul a huge favor by using his show to cast the spotlight on David Walker and his warning of the impending financial crisis for the U.S.

I just e-mailed Glenn Beck stating the obvious. He doesn't have to look to find a candidate or political figure for that matter that mirrors the entire segment. I also mentioned that if he feels so strongly about making a difference he can at least acknowledge that Ron Paul is the only one openly tackling these issues.

This story will become more and more important throughout the year(s). Even Bush's Iran distraction won't be able to hide the economic pain. That WILL wake people up and all of a sudden, RP's comment about rebuilding bridges in OUR country instead of half-way across the globe will make sense.

PLEASE, send this email to everyone you care about. It just may be the thing that causes them to take a look at Ron Paul, it may be the thing that causes them to wonder why he's been categorized as a "moonbat", it just may be the thing that sends them to the polls and casts their ballot for the ONE candidate that speaks the truth.

What David Walker said was that we each owe 170K and the math on that is correct. However, we don't ever have to pay all the principal back, in fact we could make the minimum payment on interest forever. Also, note that it's a not a one time payment, if we were trying to pay it off the debt we could put it on a 30 year plan just like a mortgage.

So how bad is it really in mortgage terms?
A 30 year mortgage for $410K locked in today at ~6% would be:
Fixed: $2425 a month or $29K a year
Interest only: $1925 a month or $23K a year

With out a doubt this is really bad but not impossible. Either mortgage would take over 50% of the average Joe's paycheck assuming that the average joe still only makes $50K. That would mean a significant increase in taxes which would mean consumption would go down significantly. Consumption is %70 of or GDP (economy) so the economy would go down significantly.

That being said it is not TEOTWAWKI it is part of the normal business cycle, the cycle always ends with over spending which leads to over saving (hoarding) which leads to investment....

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself, we can handle this stuff it's going to be unpleasant and we will need to make change. Vote Ron Paul

This is big news. It's the most important news we can report to spread Ron Paul's message

but I've read both of his books, and whether he realizes it or not the only candidate that addresses his concerns is Ron Paul. Not always agreeing with Beck, I am a long-time listener/viewer of his, and his audience is growing. If he should happen to wake up one morning and realize that Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who addresses many of the concerns he raises daily on his shows, an endorsement from him would be quite a good thing.
I would also like to see Dr. Paul back on the Glenn Beck show as a follow-up to the Walker interview to discuss monetary & fiscal issues, and have emailed the show to request he do so.

I think Ron Paul's message is now becoming mainstream. I saw the same thing happen when Perot was running for President, at first everyone ignored him, then they laughed at him, then they all started understanding his message about the Deficit and stole his message. If all of the other candidates start proposing abolishing the IRS, shutting down the Federal Reserve, and returning to a Constitutional Goverment, Ron Paul and the RP Revolution are the victors!

ok...I know that Glen Beck has done us wrong in the past....but maybe, just maybe he has seen the light. Ya know, he did some time in the hospital lately, and some soul searching as well.....
Maybe we should call him a friend...but just keep him at an arm's distance for a while.

I don't know if it's intentional on the part of Glenn Beck, but this is the BEST strategy to get the message out!

That is: Talk about the #1 issue affecting EVERY American - left or right - and have the most knowledgeable & respected expert, and a high govt official to boot, talk about how & why this issue is crucial for Americans.

Then it naturally follows... you want to elect a leader who will work on that issue, help Americans.

And the ONLY candidate even discussing it is Ron Paul, and voters will see that. (And he's not only discussing it, he UNDERSTANDS it and has SOLUTIONS).

Was that an endorsement by Glenn Beck? I've watched it twice now, and that looked and sounded like an endorsement! David Walker didn't have anything at all to say about the Ron Paul comment from Beck, but he said many of the things that Dr Paul has said.

Could Dr Paul quote Mr Walker during the debates? Better yet, would it be worthwhile to consider contacting Mr Walker for an endorsement and perhaps a speaking appearance at some of the rallys?

I do remember the segment and his message was much the same. But his new closing line with Beck is priceless:

"If the private sector had 'trust funds' like the government, somebody would be going to jail."

That's our reappointed-over-and-over comptroller general talking! Maybe Howard Stern should invite him on too. No I'm not kidding; the contrast between the host and the guest, and the guest's untainted credibility, would spread understanding of federal bankruptcy to a whole new audience.
