Is it even worth watching the debate tonight? Fox News is on my s$!t list and RP will probably only get a few lame questions anyways. That time can be spent doing something more productive.

Does anyone know what radio stations , if any, the debate will be broadcasted over (specifically Colorado)! I will be driving and will be unable to watch it!
He needs to go on the offense
and look the other candidates in the eye and speak truth and raise his voice a little bit.

He can attack but they will shoot back with attack ads and questions on the race stuff....which hasnt been sufficiently answered for anyones taste.
All he needs to do is say who did and denounce them and also give details on this very very peculiar arrangement and own up to it.

Maybe now he can have the "nothing to lose, everything to gain" confidence he needs to go after these guys like a tiger. He is SO frikkin smart it's unbeleavable and if he really beared his fangs he could maul these guys to death!

Take the gloves off
I think he needs to take the gloves off. He cannot let the other candidates talk over him and push him around. Otherwise, he will go through the debates unoticed by the people who don't know about Ron Paul.
He also cannot fumble his speach. This is important, the people who don' t know about Ron Paul focus on astethics like this. I know it is sad but it is true.
However, the stage is set. If he can come across with strong points, clear speach and on the offensive he will attract a lot of people. (Listen to the Laura Ingram interview he did the other day)
I know he is a polite and nice guy but tonight, I think, enough is enough.

debate WITHOUT a rebuttal then we're going to have trouble.

I remember Fred's rebuttle was basically stating Ron Paul's case snarkedly, which wasn't necessarily bad. And I do remember Paul saying afterwards how they are starting to pay lip service to the constitution but don't really mean it.
Plus it's pretty interesting with Fred.
If you notice Paul has agreed with Fred on a lot of issues, he applauded Fred when he took a stand and said he wouldn't participate in raising his hand.
Also, Fred smacked down Romney and Paul was smiling and nodding laughingly.
I think Fred may be pushing to be Paul's VP, I know the war is a big difference, but domestic policy is 'close enough'.

Fred Thompson sounded like a complete moron in that excahnge. Unfortunately many people have no concept of what's going on and probably just responded to the interpersonal interaction.

And if there is a poll afterward, VOTE. We now have a solid history of winning straw and text polls. If we don't win it now, they'll crow about our support slipping. It's time to turn up the heat, not retreat.

CNN beats Fox and MSNBC
I watched CNN's coverage because they were showing the vote totals. MSNBC just had percentages. I boycotted Fox. C-SPAN showed the most of Dr. Paul's speech, which was really cool. I think CNN won because they showed the vote totals - that's what people care about. How'd my guy do? It seemed like Ron kept creeping closer and closer to Giuliani and then all at once, BAM, Giuliani picked up 500 votes and Ron got almost zero. That says either vote fraud, or Giuliani did well in small areas (near NY? or very far away from NY? likely the latter) and Ron did well statewide. I think Ron did well statewide because his message is universal. That's why Ron can run a 50 state campaign where no one else can. Rudy isn't playing the early states, he's hurt by being pro-choice in Iowa and anti-guns in NH. Fred didn't campaign in NH. Huckabee only does well with evangelicals. McCain barely won NH, a state he dominated in '00, and didn't campaign much in Iowa. I thought Romney was a national candidate because of his personal $$$, but I saw where he is pulling ads in South Carolina because he's not expecting to do well there. Ron's message works in every state. We've just got to do more to get his message out there, get his numbers up, and convince people they are not wasting their vote.

It's not worth it to give Fox the ratings. Just wait till tomorrow and catch the RP highlights on youtube. I'm sure someone will post a link to the video here within hours of the debate ending.

My dream comment when Rudy Starts Laughing
I want Ron Paul to say something along these lines to Rudy when he starts laughing like the dumb jock in high school after he just made a stupid joke on the nerd. "Rudy, we get it, you were Mayor during 9/11, but beyond that you have no qualifications to be sitting on this stage with me. You made a lot of promises to those men and women in the NYPD and FDNY that you haven't followed through on, and now you use them and their memories as social and political currency like you have some birthright to protect us. Well Rudy, the American people need protecting from politicians like you who want to conquer the world at all cost including the financial peril of this country and I am not going to stand by and let that happen. If you have something legitimate to say that doesn't involve 9/11 or empty promises then wait your turn. We are running for the President of the United States the most respected Job in the World, why don't you start treating it that way."

I suspect Fox(in their mind) will try to deliver what they think will be the final blow tonight. But I'm confident Ron will handle it wel I don't think he can do anything about Rudy's phony laughing but, personally, this would be the time to bring up Rudy's dealings with Bernie Kerik and the corruption around that fiasco.

They're going to try to deliver the one-two punch and I hope our campaign will continue feed him whatever they've been feeding him. I like to see him kick ass and take names.

Because Fox News are pricks it's obvious the newsletter will be brought up. I hope Ron Paul has gotten some rest and has written a small speech to give because this could be a breakout point for him.
Not only is this on Fox, this would also explain the relative silence from the campaign recently. They are simply holding their message for a large national audience. It's that important.
At least that's what I hope. I'll be watching.

I'll bet that is why Fox News did not exclude him from the debate, because they want to try to hammer him for the old newsletters scandal(that he says he did not write or approve of) and try to make him look bad. I am pretty sure RP has to expect this will be coming from Fox and will be prepared for it.

I know you are a long time avid supporter of the Doc, so this really doesn't apply to you, but I worry a lot of people are getting desperate. So many people are willing to jump on HQ and or RP about his methods. His career history tells us we have nothing to worry about.
You mentioned the word "Hope" so I thought I would reply to you, but in my opinion having the mindset, of "we have only begun to fight" is more beneficial than "we are screwed if this doesn't go well". Regardless RP has mucho dinero, and continues to rake it in. He is a voice of reason amongst so much BS. Once the country has economic troubles, he will be heard even more.
David Walker's appearance on Beck last night is evidence enough...
