Message from Ron Paul: Onward!
by Ron Paul
January 10, 2008
Did you see that funny YouTube where Mike Huckabee's young Iowa spokesman endorsed me, "by mistake"? We know what was in his mind! Indeed, I am amazed at the friendliness of the supporters of other candidates. Many Obama voters, for example, in Iowa and New Hampshire are reading our literature, and studying our ideas. It's just one of the reasons I am so optimistic about what we are doing, and where we are heading. And so were the 500 or 600 people at our New Hampshire rally after the primary. I talked to everyone there, and they are rightly enthusiastic about our movement.
This does not mean we will have an easy time of it -- just the opposite, of course. After all, we are seeking to reverse more than a century of big government, of the warfare-welfare state, of Federal Reserve's dollar manipulation, of a fat and happy military-industrial complex, of the subversion of our Constitution. So all the media and other "second-hand dealers in ideas," as F.A. Hayek called them, who have a vested interest in the current order, will do everything possible to smear me. They will do and say anything to try to block our movement. Even vote fraud is not beyond these people.
And we have been successful. This movement has always operated on two tracks -- intellectual and political, and must. The first and most important is the intellectual. Such heroes of freedom as Ludwig von Mises, Hayek, Henry Hazlitt, Murray Rothbard, and so many others like Rose Wilder Lane, John T. Flynn, Isabel Patterson, and Garret Garrett, have helped build the foundations of freedom, prosperity, and peace. We carry on their work, to change hearts and minds.
The other track is political. Here too, we have touched millions with our ideas, and recruited many, many thousands -- not only in Meetup Groups and as voters, but as sympathizers and future voters too. Walter Block was kind enough to call this effort the most important in the long history of libertarianism. I don't know about that, but I do know that even if we place a solid fourth, rather than the higher place we all want and are working so hard for, that is huge progress.
But we can never forget that this is a long struggle. Many great men and women have lived and died in this cause. I have been deeply involved in it all my life. It is a matter of educational work, and elections. We may not accomplish all we want, in one or even two elections. But we will accomplish it. Young people now living will see the free society that you and I dream of, as their everyday reality, an America at peace, prosperous and free, with the federal government chained down y the Constitution, as Jefferson said.
Does this mean our campaign has done everything right? No! We have made mistakes, and will make them again. Not only because errors are to be found in any human endeavor, but because an effort like this, to repeal a hundred years and more of evil, is brand-new on the face of the earth. But now is the time to stick together like the brothers and sisters we are, to stand side by side in this fight against the media toadies, warmongers, and Wall Street rip-off artists who stand against us, and who always remind me of Tolkein's Orcs.
If you have suggestions for me to do better, I want to hear them. But beating back the enemy, teaching so many young people and others about liberty, that is our victory, and it is real and permanent. Won't you link arms with me? We will have more vote victories too, if we stick together and do not let the enemy divide us.
As you know, and as our neocon enemies try to cover up, we are in a financial crisis. It may chug along at this pace, slowly into recession, or it might drop off a cliff, like the dollar. In that case, we will have the only coherent solution, and we must get our message out.
All my life, I've been working to make sure that when the Fed had done its work, and the special interests had looted the system to their hearts' content, and there was a crisis, I would be in a position to speak the truth about why, and what to do about it. In this fight, I need your heart, your mind, your time, and your financial support. I also need you to become a precinct leader https://voters.ronpaul200... . What a fight we are in. What stakes there are. Together, we can build a new America faithful to the values of the framers. Bother the enemy, help the good cause: make your most generous contribution https://www.ronpaul2008.c..., and let's roll up our sleeves and get to work, together.
Sincerely,
Ron

Comments, but they never get to him
I am from Michigan, a very important state. In his letter Ron Paul states that he wants suggestions from people on how the campaign can be improved, but I can tell you that here in Michigan the campaign is run like crap. For nearly a month, we ( south west Michigan meetup groups) have requested lit and signs fron the State and county coordinators who have promised us these supplies but never delivered. Our County coordinators are in Indiana, not Michigan and do little here. Our meetup group has called national and requested these supplies and now we were told that we will get them in 5 to 7 days.. If we are lucky, the day of the primary? Make sense? Dr. Paul, I highly doubt that you are being told about how innefficiently your campaign is being run here in Michigan. In many instances calls to the state coordinator's office are not even answered nor go to a service or machine, but just ring and ring. There are other issues and were questionable links on state website as well, which have now been removed. This ineptness is not doing this campaign any good and really hurts those of us who put our time and money into this campaign and would do much much more if the state or even national offices would do their part in assisting us with the supplies we need. I hope that this or any similar message gets to you about this because many of us have called and emailed about this and other incidents to no avail. I will still vote for you as will my wife and will stand at the polls on election day with my last sign. This could have been done much better and I highly suggest getting some competent people to run your campaign. I truly hope Iowa and New Hampshire were not run like this. The best, In liberty
Ray Kirkus
Make HQ aware of our needs and their shortcomings but remember:
We may be on our own. Hq may be swamped, understaffed, not able to get supplies in their hands fast enogh to get out. For all we know, supplies may be deliberately withheld by shippers, delivery services, or even suppliers! Whatever the reason it makes no sense to me to whine or complain and make less than a monumental effort by our own hands, hearts and minds. He is our last chance.
If you can't get a response from HQ just make your own signs, posters, fliers, DVD's, ads, cards, etc. I know it can be done because we do it at several groups. Tri-folds are easy to make.
If I didn't have a big Ron Paul sign (several) visible to thousands daily, I'd be writing his name in woodstove ashes in the snow before I'd do nothing. Maybe thats a good idea: a giant Ron Paul stomped out on the side of a mountain sprinkled with woodstove ashes, or maybe food coloring and water with a little antifreeze so it doesn't freeze up before I'm done.
Join me!
Deserter?
Good point. When you spend just a few minutes deciding what is the alternative, you come back stronger to Dr Paul.
Come on people, THIS IS IT, YOU ARE IT, WE ARE IT.
And yes after both the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries I'd be a liar if I said that I wasn't disappointed, who wouldn't be, but if your're on the right path there is no alternative other than to stop or go on. I'm not willing to settle for nothing, things just getting worse, I'm going all the way.
See you there.
Don't Be A Deserter
I think there are some questions each of us need to ask ourselves:
Do we love Liberty? How much do we love Liberty? Are we willing to sacrifice our reputation, our resources, our time? Would we be willing to subject ourselves to slander and persecution?
What price, Liberty?
There is voter fraud going on all the time. A personal example: in 1994, Ellen Sauerbrey ran for governor of Maryland. They discovered, after the election, that at least 6000 dead people had voted in Baltimore precincts. When brought to the attention of the judge, he threw it out because there wasn't enough fraudulent votes found to change the election results.
The issue wasn't that fraud was committed, but that there wasn't enough fraud discovered to make a difference!!!!
These are the sorts of people we are up against. They will do anything to gain and retain power. Slapshot, did you expect these people to play fair? Did you really expect honesty from a corrupt system or clean water from a cesspool? Geez!
I suspect that there are more trolls and "sunshine patriots" among us. Only those of us who persevere to the end will earn the thanks of Liberty loving men and women. Don't let the deserters take away your reward in the fight for liberty!

Suggestions from the Netherlands
Half a year following DailyPaul, first post... Anyway, my suggestion for the Doc:
This decade we (the Dutch) had a maverick candidate too, coming out of nowhere: professor Pim Fortuyn. He ran a great campaign and would have won the election if he would not have been shot. One thing he did brilliantly, and what the Ron Paul campaign is not doing brilliantly at all, is winning over what you call the "Joe Sixpacks", which form the majority of the voters. How?
Well, whenever Pim thought he had a good case against some establishment guy (which happened to be nearly always) he would not just humbly suggest that maybe there should be some change. Rather, he would brutally challange and redicule his opponents and their mainstream position. This made them pretty nervous, as Pim did have tons of knowledge to back up his flamboyant charges. Actually, whether he was wrong or right didn't even matter. Watching a debate and cheering for Pim was simply the same fun experience for Joe S. as watching the local football team in front of the other teams goal! And then I'm not talking the football where you carry the ball in your hands. :-) Pim would be the star striker to watch.
So my suggestion (apart from body armor): Charge the others at their weakest points as could be perceived by the non-intelligent/non-geek voters, which look to me:
a) Their disrespect for freedom.
b) Their spending.
c) Their membership of the CFR.
d) Them being in bed with certain special interest groups.
e) The hate they cause allover the world towards americans.
f) Their Israel-first, USA-second ideas.
This could be turned into some dumbed-down easy-to-repeat messages/charges that can still be said with a smile if needed, like:
"There are pro-CFR candidates and there are pro-America candidates."
"I get my donations from the people. But who gets most from the special interest groups? Is it McCain, or is it Guilliani?"
"Huckabee, if you're not the biggest spender of all of us here, please tell me who is!"
"Invade Iran? My estimate is that it creates 2000 suicide bombers, what's yours?"
Etcetera. I believe that the movement should have a little less respect for their opponents, because politeness is easily perceived as weakness by the casual politics watcher.
Still - just my thoughts, feel free to ignore!
Henk
Time to fight
Ron Paul has got to take the gloves off and knock these lying, taxing, warmongering, flip-flopping NEOCONS heads completely off. There is no way the other candidates can stand up to the light of truth.
Same way I knew the newsletters weren't written by him
I believe almost every one of the Paul campaign's fund-raising appeals have been ghost-written. I thought that was common knowledge. You can tell by the ideas and the writing style. Although he's often bold and plain-spoken, he's also a very savvy and careful speaker. He wouldn't be so foolish as to allude to crimes like vote-fraud without presenting evidence. Also, he is a superb and careful writer (you need only look at his Congressional website to see this), but this letter is replete with typos and grammatical errors; it looks like it was written by a 6th grader.
Thank you, Dr. Paul!
I am definitely working on the education part of it, and spreading the word to as many as I can! Today at my public library I came across an episode of a PBS series called "Free to Choose" from back in the 1980's starring Murray Rothbard about how free markets work. It was crazy to see Donald Rumsfeld as one of his panelists! I can't wait to check out the next episode, on Rothbard's interpretation of the Great Depression.
At his victory speech in Iowa, Dr. Paul made a statement that I will never forget: that we who hold the knowledge are responsible for spreading it. He said that we can each do this in the paths we choose for ourselves, as parents, teachers, reporters, politicians, economists...It was so inspiring! Remember, fellow rEVOLutionaries, together we can change the world! It will be a long, hard change but freedom will conquer in the end!
Holding back the tears...
Let me start off by stating that I didn't read Ron's latest message until now. I have been really depressed about the NH results. I have more than a few complaints about the national campaign, as I believe they have left many supporters with their asses hanging in the breeze--and it's pretty damn cold up there in NH.
Well, I'm over that now. Ron admitted that mistakes were made, and I hope the campaign has learned from them. Ron defended himself on CNN this afternoon, and I believe him--hopefully everyone else does too. The fact is that the MSM is just doing their job--dividing and conquering.
Now that I have read his latest posting, I find myself thinking about how Ron Paul has really influenced this election. Does anyone out there believe that any of these second-hander (I got this term from The Fountainhead) candidates would be even mentioning the Constitution without Ron Paul's arguments? Does anyone really think that Huckabee would be quoting the Declaration of Independence without Ron Paul's constant mentioning of the founeders' wishes?
"These are the times that try men's souls." Tom Paine was able to rally the colonists with these eight words during our war for independence. Well, I say these words are just as relevant now as they were back then. Don't be "sunshine soldiers" and "summer patriots," because "tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered."
We have tonight's debate to watch, and a major money bomb planned for January 21. More importantly, we have thousands of patriots who are, right now, passing out fliers and slim jims. Let's wish them well, and keep up our morale.
I agree and disagree
I agree in the sense that Dr. Paul really has raised awareness to the point of waking people up (myself included - Thanks RP!). It has many people talking about the most important issues that everyone else avoids. This will set the stage for future dialog with other candidates etc. and move the ball further than it ever has... if momentum is maintained through the groups that formed/ are forming during RP's run
The use of RP's message by others does attest to its power. However, co-opting his message tends to dilute the power of its significance by reducing it to buzzwords and insincerity. The clutter of competing buzzwords makes it harder for his message to stand out after that point (particularly as other candidates get the coverage - thanks to CBS for pointing out Huckabee's copycat act). I think RP addressed this some by stating it's nice to talk about the constitution, but you actually have to mean it and stand by it.
I agree...
Ron Paul has redirected the focus to the constitution for sure.
thank
you
Cracking the tough nut...
I've been at odds with my brother-in-law's pro Bush belief's for at least 4 years now, to no avail. (And Rob is a great guy except for this!) He is so pro-war/Bush that is it is impossible for me to find some common ground to "educate" him. And Rob is no dummy, so it can be humbling.
And I believe that to "educate" I have be subtle as to maintain his dignity, for I do respect him. It is tough. My brother-in-law is like a brother to me but we have this vast political gap. Are some so ingrained in the Rush/Bush/Hannity speak that no amount of "enlightenment" is effective?
What is working for you? I am on the campaign wagon to convert Rob to Ron Paul!! Suggestions?
Need education...Send him to school
If he is at least open minded, and willing to spend a little time in the RP library he will come around.
Go there yourself and share it with him also.

If he knew what we know he would join the R3volution.
Best to you...
Dear Missourimike, Last
Dear Missourimike,
Last year, my husband thought I'd lost my mind. My interest in the gold market eventually lead to Ron Paul. My husband was still a fan of Bush/Limbaugh/Hannity. I tried every argument I'd read. No dice. He was unconvinced and could not (yet) believe Hannity and Limbaugh were propagandists for the CFR/ NWO.
Then one day, one question of mine began the turn in his thinking: If we're truly fighting "a war on terror," then why is our southern border wide open? After all, terrorists with suitcase bombs can come right into the US, right alongside the illegals. Why won't Bush defend the border?
Here's why this might work for you: even Hannity and Limbaugh admit that Bush is not addressing the illegals issue. So this might just be the issue that will "prime the pump", so to speak, that will also work for you, to get your friend to begin to listen.
I think you should back way up with him.
Have him watch this movie:
Brotherhood of the Bell (in 11 clips)
1. http://www.youtube.com/wa...
2. http://www.youtube.com/wa...
3. etc. (scroll in youtube to see all 11 clips)
4. ...
It's entertaining and VERY educational - staring Glenn Ford.
I think this is really square one.
By the way, I wouldn't wait too long about watching this movie
because it no longer exists in databases the video stores use to order movies.
So it may not be on youtube forever.
thanks
I will forward this to Rob, thanks.
California BANNED Diebold Months Ago, We Should Take a Lesson
This information has been out there for awhile, it makes you wonder how we can trust our National elections to a machine that can be so easily compromised.
Everyone on these forums concerned with Election Fraud, should read these links:
http://www.wired.com/poli...
and,

Serious Candidates should demand Hand Counting from here on out.
Some Good News from California
Last night I was at a street fair in Palm Springs. The Ron Paul Meet-ups there man a booth, handing out materials and walking the street with signs.
Last night, for the first time, there was also a Republican Booth. I thought, "oh, no" but was pleasantly surprised. They had everyone's literature (except Hucks...hmmm) and event the guy for Romney was nice and complementary about Ron Paul saying that the Constitution message really needs to get out there. He also said that they had had quite a few people at the table that night to switch to Republican because of Ron Paul. And, despite he was not for Ron Paul (can you believe he said because of the War issue), he said Ron would do well in California...at least 15%.
I was impressed with the people at the table, not for Ron Paul, but definitely not bad mouthing him in any way and, in fact, glad he was in the race saying the things he was saying. Two out of four said he probably was the most financially astute and understood economics. I talked a bit about David Walker's recent report and they were interested and said they would look it up.
"They will do and say
"They will do and say anything to try to block our movement. Even vote fraud is not beyond these people."
YOU GOT THAT NAYSAYERS!! YOU GONNA CALL RP A "KOOK" NOW ALSO?
Ok you're forgiven, I know it's hard but please try to wake up a bit!
Don't jump ship just yet
I'm thinking if there "is" vote fraud it would be very hard to prove. A recount on the machines is simply hitting print for a good deal of them. You can't say 100% whether there is fraud or not. Saying it's impossible though is ridiculous. Not even sure why everyone went electronic. I know it's faster, but I'd wager it's cheaper and easier to use and to verify the old paper only systems.
Anyways my main point is that I think Ron Paul should just keep plugging away and you guys gotta keep up the good work. If enough of these votes really ARE fixed then there is going to be a lot of angry people. If you get discouraged now you've given up the second it starts to get a little tough.
Wish I could help more, being Canadian means I got a sideline position here but good luck to you all. An economically strong U.S.A. is something we all like to see here.
Reading Comprehension
I believe this is a matter of reading comprehension. What I read said that vote fraud was not beyond these people. Remember, these are the same folks that don't include Ron Paul's name in their polls, they don't invite him to debates even though he is a top fundraiser and polls higher than other invited candidates, they ridicule him on the news, the list goes on and on. These are the lovers and profiteers "of big government, of the warfare-welfare state, of Federal Reserve's dollar manipulation, of a fat and happy military-industrial complex, of the subversion of our Constitution." It's true, they will go to any lengths to block the message of freedom. I wouldn't put vote fraud past them either!
Well Said.
Well Said.
I've been crossing my fingers...
I've had this feeling that Ron Paul did not want to pursue the recount until after tonight's debate in order to keep him looking forward thinking. (Not a so-called whiner for Fox to distract to.)
So I hope he announces a recount in the morning or after the debate.
Go Ron Paul Vote 2008 for Ron Paul!
Here's what I sent to HQ
.
Greetings, Ron Paul Staff,
.
The good doctor said in his latest (1/10/08) e-mail:
.
"Does this mean our campaign has done everything right? No! We have made mistakes, and will make them again."
.
and this:
.
"Even vote fraud is not beyond these people."
.
Ok, so, clearly, he's well aware of the vote fraud that has already happened in Iowa and New Hampshire, so, if he does NOT demand a recount of the New Hampshire Primary by tomorrow, Friday, the 10th, then forget it. It's over...and you will have lost my support.
.
Explain to me--how in the hell does Ron Paul expect to create any sort of changes when the damn votes are **DECIDED/COUNTED** by those damn computers? Huh? No, I just don't agree with the good doctor here on this point about the vote-count fraud that is clearly happening.
.
So I bet that he'll just do his Constitutional talk on tonight's debate and not take the damn bull by the horns and RAISE THE VOTE-FRAUD ISSUE by aggressively talking about it during the debate and pointing out that he was not the only victim of vote fraud--Obama was as well, so vote fraud is not limited to the good doctor.
.
Nah, Dr. Paul won't say jack about the vote fraud--and I'm losing faith in his candidacy already. If he fails to speak up about vote fraud on tonight's debate and fails to file his demand for a recount of the NH vote fraud and fails to file a court injunction to stop the primary process, then all hope is lost. WTF?

A Ron Paul supporter since the 1980's!
He would be handing
He would be handing ammunition to the enemy by publicly blaming 'ridiculous' vote fraud for his mediocre showing in Iowa and New Hampshire. It would actually be very wise to fight this battle with Howard as a proxy.
The most immediate need is to put the breaks on the IRAN war.
If this campaign can stop it this year. This is a huge WIN!
A broad brush stroke covering decades
Fixed elections and fraud go back many decades. I don't think he is referring to New Hampshire 2008. Think 2000 and 2004. Think Jack Kennedy and Nixon. He's right to say it.
Election stolen from Paul ...
On the 220th anniversary of the Constitution, my hubby and I met Paul in Ft. Lauderdale for that debate. Hubby asked him point-blank about vote fraud. This was Paul's answer: "Well, you know, I've had an election stolen from me before, so we're looking out for it"-- indicating he was very sensitive to the concern. Research indicates he was referring back as early as Nov 1976, when he lost a House election by less than a percent, a handful of votes.
Trust Ron. He is aware of his supporters' issues. When he chooses to underplay them, trust that he does know what he's doing. You trust him on all his opinions, why not trust that he knows how to WIN CAMPAIGNS?
That said, I don't care who wrote this piece, I want to see more of this kind of writing! The movement is acknowledged, the groundwork is being laid, and the Return of the King imagery is getting its full play! I can hardly wait for Lord Denethor to go crazy and jump off the cliff in flames!
Yup..
Any possible imaginable way you could control the vote. They're gonna do it. Whether its punching extra ballots, ticking extra marks with hidden lead under fingernails, choosing shitty vendors with shitty principles, hacker installing viral memory cards, the list goes on and on...
The second we are not watching they are frauding...
This applies to much of life's evil doer personalities... 'I think.
I just signed up for MLK Day

slapshot disinfo
"Slapshot," the alleged supporter we just lost, was a member for 2 hours. I call bullshit. Doc is getting better and better each time he speaks. He knows the movement that is coalescing around him and that it will reach far beyond this November and the 2008 election. Things are changing in America.
My name is in the campaign contribution list, look it up.
Nice way to attack people. I just hadn't used the site because there were no new registrations on primary day.
Welcome Slapshot.
We 're all here for the message, please speak your mind.
Blowback!
I decided to stay after reading his post. LOL!
Potpourri
"Even vote fraud is not beyond these people." - check the 2nd paragraph; it's more innuendo than direct accusation.
I thought it was a great letter, too, giving context to the movement.
A couple things bothered me:
1. Dr. Paul asks for our feedback on what the campaign is not doing right, but doesn't give a feedback mechanism and doesn't say how they've changed in response to supporter feedback or empirical data. Revealing a little strategic insight would make me more likely to donate again (see #2).
2. He did not mention whether or not they will pursue a recall. And then ask us for more money. What are they doing with it!?! If you have more votes than you get credit for and are vulnerable in future states, doesn't it make sense to deal with this problem first before worrying about advertising?
HQ not allowed to give grassroots much direction???
Check out ronpaulforums for the discussion. I can't remember the post but they were discussing the grassroots movement and HQ and how they can't legally interact with us to give us direction. And they aren't allowed to talk about it???? VERY CRAPPY!!! Some bill passed that has McCain's name on it??? It is outrageous. Sorry, I can't remember it. I was choked. I hadn't ever heard of it before.
not entirely versed, but i think there's a fine line...
Campaigns can't coordinate with 527s or other groups funding efforts on a candidate's behalf which would violate existing campaign finance laws.
However, candidates have every right to engage donors to their campaign. The same is true of supporters in general. They can also acknowledge and comment on feedback received. However, they might not disclose this for tactical/strategic reasons or perhaps for appearing compromised by donors (this is of course more applicable to other campaigns. e.g. "the grassroots want me to challenge the NH vote count" sounds better than "big [insert industry you love to hate] wants me to double government funding of their program.")
I feel the same way. I was actually very disappointed to
read this letter. But, after reading the post below, it made me realize that perhaps, Ron Paul has to be little cautious. I'd much prefer if he demanded recount or some kind of investigation, but maybe he knows that this was done before and it was ineffective. I don't know...But, at the very least, I and many others are now aware of the real probability of vote fraud. Perhpas, this kind of education is more important. I don't know...
True.
Good thoughts. It is demoralizing that results can be altered systematically and there is no recourse, but you may be right that taking it on may not yield the desired results. You have to wonder about giving control of the voting machines to private companies that are not accountable. It's eerily like the Fed, opaque and yet effects us all significantly.
Education right now is crucial. This ties into communication strategy. I wish they'd use some of our contributions to hire a firm that is versed in Dr. Paul's type of strategy, values, etc. Before winning the election, the first priority is simply to wake people up to what's going on to lay groundwork for efforts of future candidates. This requires top notch communications.
Ron just lost my support
Until there is ANY credible evidence of actual FRAUD in the vote, Ron Paul has done this country a great dis-service by suggesting that there was fraud committed.
Undermining the election of New Hampshire without proof (actual PROOF, not just speculation) undermines the democratic will of the people. The people of New Hampshire spoke through their election; undermining their vote without proof takes that away from them.
It is disgusting to allege fraud just because not everyone in New Hampshire has yet accepted Ron Paul's message. Instead of looking forward with HOPE, Ron Paul has attempted to SMEAR his opponents. This is sour grapes at best, or a deliberate attempt to undermine democracy at worst.
I am giving no more money to the campaign. I wish Ron Paul supporters luck in promoting their ideals of freedom, but I will continue to resist attempts to take away the democratic will of the people of New Hampshire. We have become what we used to hate in our enemies--using political innuendo to undermine free and fair elections because we don't like the results.
You lost one supporter today.
A silly spin. Sounds like
A silly spin. Sounds like one of those FIX NEWS spins. We are a lot smarter than you think.
Your asleep!
wake up, smell the fraud, do your own research!
Democratic will of the people are in the hands of a few! You better hope these vendors "who make money selling these vote machines" (like diebold) have chosen to change their ways and beef up their security. An individual broke into one of these machines in less than 10 seconds. The memory card can be hacked into with software that will flip votes and virtually be left undetectable...Watch this for your PROOF...geez

Recount NO! Paul Yes!
Slapshot,
Like you I'm against the recount. I find that part of Paul's letter to be bothersome. (I'm also upset that so many of my fellow Paul supporters seem to believe that anyone connected with counting ballots is guilty until proven innocent. It also bothers me that more than 1 Paul supporter thinks Republican is a synonym for crook.) I've got to ask if you're not going to support Ron Paul who are you going to support? McCain? He was against the Bush tax cuts and in favor of limiting free speech. Huckabee? He never saw a tax hike he didn't like and his record on freedom is less than stellar. How about Rudy? I don't know about you, but in my dictionary Rudy's picture is next to the word R(epublican) I(n) N(ame) O(nly).
Is Ron Paul perfect? Of course not. Like any human he's got his flaws. He's not a tin hatter but he pays them lip service. He doesn't have a racist bone in his body but he doesn't have a problem with them supporting his campaign. I believe he does those things because he's trying to make the pro-liberty tent as big as possible without compromising his core beliefs. Those core beliefs are written down in our Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. They can be shortened to 1 word: LIBERTY! No, Ron Paul is not perfect. BUT BY FAR HE IS THE BEST WE'VE GOT! Starting with 1980 I've voted in every Republican Presidential primary . Many times I vote and say "Yuk" as I vote. This time I'll be proud to cast my vote for Ron Paul. Lower taxes, pro-life, pro- 2nd amendment, pro-smaller government, pro strong borders, pro sensible foreign policy and he's a got a record that backs up what he says! What else can a conservative and Republican want from a Presidential candidate?
I noticed you've been a member of DP for 2 hours!
He never had your support!
Nice try, TROLL!
Thanks for leaving, we need the bandwidth.
(Hope your 2 hours of "support" was memorable.)
Were you an election worker in Sutton?
