Top Giuliani staffers to go without pay
MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (CNN) — CNN has learned that top staff members of Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign were asked to work without pay for the month of January, and perhaps longer, so that campaign resources could be focused on the Florida Republican presidential primary.
Two sources in the campaign, speaking on condition of anonymity, insisted the campaign was not in dire financial straits. A third campaign source, however, said "things are starting to get tight" and that "it was more telling than asking" the senior staff to forgo paychecks beginning the first of the year.
Another source disagreed, saying it was a "voluntary" move by senior staff members "so all of our resources could be targeted toward Florida…Our campaign is not living hand to mouth right now…"
The officials did not immediately provide a number of staffers who were subject to the new policy. Nor would campaign officials disclose the amount of money the campaign had in the bank.

Ha! All the other campaigns have no money. When you really say nothing, nobody that's excited to donate. Go Ron!

Not a good sign for his campaign
I'd have to say that most of these people are probably so wealthy it doesn't matter much to them.
thousands
How much do these people make? $5-10,000/month? That's all he's saving by not paying them? If things are that bad, he's goin' down.
If the
other candidates can't manage their money how do the people supporting them expect them to run the country?? Ron has been very wise with the money we have donated, and is showing the people that he won't be wasteful. If people would only open their eyes and look at how wasteful the other candidates are with their campaign funds and see how this reflects on how they would run the country, Ron would win hands down.

Aren't they?
Glad to know he is concerned about his employees and their families. Or maybe they should just work for him because it's a noble cause :monkeysflyingouttamybutt:
Multimillionaire's campaign employees to work without pay
Reminds me of the CFO that laid me off. As he addressed the crowd in the meeting, he told us how we should feel about it. Giuliani is #1 in the national polls, right?

Funding for All the Candidates
Where can you find out the funding accounts for all the candidates?
One source is opensecrets.org
However, as of yesterday, they only had 3Q results in. All the candidates have till the 31st to send in the amounts they raised to the FEC.
I understand Dr. Paul has already sent his in. I think the numbers are going to be very disappointing for the other fellas.
They can't wait for the big matching federal check to come in.
I know Dr. Paul is against it in theory as well as principle but I wish he would take the matching funds.
The Federal Matching Fund Check
is in the mail. This will save his Hillary cackle like laugh.
Why we donate to RP, because we believe in him.
Fredheads are all giddy about Fred raising 570K in a weeks time. LOL. A week to raise money for a weak candidate.
Paul's First Battle
I bet Dr. Pauls first agenda was getting Rudy out of the race...mission accommplished! (oops, sorry, that's a bush line).
Slow and methodical, rabbit and hare. The longer we keep his message going the better...look at how many new donors today. We're averaging over 500 new doners a day. Remember, these are small amounts.
Our votes are 23 to 1 practically.
Dr. Paul, just keep on truckin'. They've given it their best shot to take you out, "racist spin", and from what I heard on Cspan this morning, 90% of calls were RP supporters, I'd say RP is kickin' butt and taken names.
I also suggest you go on-line and see who runs the programming for cspan......a little murdoch, a little turner, you name it.
Guilianni
RP is ahead of him.
budget problems
As I see this is just another example of people who can't budget their own money why in the world would we trust them to budget our money.
Rudy made millions on 9/11 - Guess he is too cheap to share
Rudy made millions on 9/11 - Guess he is too cheap to share any of it with his workers. And he turned away a 10 million check for the 9/11 survivors and their families. What a jerk.
