Remember how Kerry was destroyed with the flip flop theme - it really stuck to him like glue. Well - I think we can get McCain's 100 year comment to haunt him in this election in the same way.
How do we do it?
1.) Mobilize ALL grassroots efforts to include he following:
Senator McCain wants us to remain in Iraq a 100 years! That means our kids kids kids will be fighting and dieing there
2.) Remember the song a 100 miles (lord Im a 100 miles away from home).. . well what if someone came up with something similar except they said a 100 years away from home.
3.) Get some military folks to comment about the 100 year story
4.) Ron Paul should mention it every time he can

if we don't stop the world war 3. I think many American thinks that it won't happen to them. offcourse less soldiers get kill by adding more troops there, We use to raise hell when 1 or 2 troops got kill, not 30 kill a month is no big deal(comparing to 120 last December). How are we going to afford surge for next 100 years! We definately don't need Mcinsane for President!

I think the Mitt flip flop is good but maybe we should focus on something even more incriminating, something the media NEVER mentions - i.e. his strong ties to Blackwater.

It can go as far as answering the question's short and precise. Then telling the american people that if you want a more detailed answer , go to a dedicated web page were the longer responses would be posted
There has been considerable buzz on this
remark, on various blogs, since it was made. The buzz is not just coming from our side, but also from democrats who remark, not infrequently, that such a comment is bound to sink him in the general election. Saying or implying that young women are responsible for producing the 5 generations of young men, necessary to replenish military forces in foreign conflicts, is not exactly the most tactful utterance I've ever heard.

If Paul would say that its obvious by all the giggling that my fellow candidates not only disagree with me on these issues - but they dont even deem them worthy of debate and discussion.
Its time to talk to the American people directly.

these things stick with people - context gets lost.
Off course hes going to say something to rebuttal the point - its expected. But his answer didnt shake the 100 year statement from my mind. I believe that he believes thats its ok to be there 100 years.
the other issue to tie to this is the economic issue. Does anyone know what the war is costing EACH TAXPAYER / year. Lets say its $10000. Ask people if they want to pay 1,000,000 in taxes to help Iraqis figure out how to get along!
