IGNORE Hannity?! Make him part of BOYCOTT!

Ok, we all know Hannity is a narcissist and obvious from the hound dog incident that he thoroughly LOVED being chased down the street. This feeds it's more than huge ego and gives him constant fodder for his show. What do you all think about ignoring him? So many threads here deteriorate into nothing but bash and gossip about his most recent ignorance. I believe that ignoring bad behavior of spoiled children works best. Others might say a spanking is better but that's not always so. In some cases, even bad attention is better than none. Either way, our constant focus on Hannity and others of his kind does nothing to get Ron Paul's message out. Do you think maybe that's how the good Doc would do it?

Don't just ignore hannity, turn off your tv. You'll be much more productive. Enjoy life! It's beautiful! Talk to your wife/husband about life and play with your kids. Read! Educate yourself! I haven't watched TV in years save for a rogue episode of Star Trek Voyager or a debate here and there. I'm much better for it and I DON'T SUPPORT THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX THROUGH ADVERTISING REVENUE.

Hannity is serious propaganda...so misleading the masses for years.
I quit him 3 years ago. I am a registered republican.
Hannity has linked the govt/media complex with catholicism, christian, republican, and the Bush administration--all squished into one.
Just say 'no' and turn him off. Don't have to get agressive...just 'click.'

I don't have cable
I gave up cable (and TV and movies in general) because I thought that I shouldn't be paying for propaganda, violence, sexism and hype.
I thought I'd miss the NFL but I don't even miss that and I'm content to simply see the scores on Monday morning.
Instead, I started playing the piano, reading books and exercising-- I lost 80 lbs (1/3 of my weight).
My stance is simply: "life is too valuable to give it to TV." In 2008 I hope to reduce my Internet usage... but that will be hard and be more of a vegitarian.

I thought I was the only one who doesn't have cable. I too have seen dramatic increases in my health and well-being by finding other ways of spending my time.

Yes! There's no greater way to bruise Hannity's overblown ego than to respond with... nothing! Ha ha! It makes me laugh to think about it. Post this idea in other forums so everyone is on board.

Don't watch FAUX News! At least not for the first 5 minutes on the hour and the half, that is when the Nielsen ratings click on (or so that is what I read when NBC decided to pull The Black Donnellys).

I suggest we show Fox what 'surge' and 'blowback' really is. Call every show, radio or otherwise and mention the good doctor. Every single time any show has a call-in on any radio or tv station. That would be a 'surge' to remember. If not, then yeah, just ignore him...I already do.

AMEN! I know there is many a determined athiest who will at least admit that the Bible is filled with wisdom of the ages. Dr. Paul is a Christian and I'm certain he is aware of the following command:

Then, further you must consider this!
Mat 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
To me, it is obvious how we should be treating those who deny the 'message' and kick so hard against it.

I was listening to the Hannity show on Sirius radio today, and the poor guy was being BESEIGED with callers that I could tell were Ron Paul supporters! Only one call actually said he was, the others just asked him about the war etc. but had Ron Paul talking points!
I almost felt SORRY for Hannity, he was so upset! ROFLMAO!!

Exactly, Boycott his show and sponsor's! Has anyone put up a site on the web yet that says "Boycott all of Fox Sponsor's?" We need that up asap, and we need someone making bumper stickers also!
If you put the site on the Internet that says"Boycott all of fox sponsor's" list all of their sponsors because we don't want anyone to feel left out!
Once it is up someone needs to go to daily Kos and let then know about it also!
There are millions that will participate so start Boycotting those sponsors and getting that site up Asap with the names on it!

Demonizing
I think all the demonizing of Hannity is ridiculous. He's just a person, with a right to express his opinions like anyone else. He's not Satan. I have friends that disagree with me on politics, and over Ron Paul as well, but so what? They're still my friends. Get over it people.
Instead of ignoring him, how about trading with him, talking with him, and reasoning with him? Don't be an isolationist.

And lately his interviews on his radio show have been very respectful. Shouldn't that be rewarded? Maybe it would be more productive to boycott people who DON'T interview him. If ratings of a show increase because of Paul being on, believe me, they're going to have in more often. It seems like you're suggesting working against that.

Your observation that deep down Vannity loved the hounding incident, because he felt "Ah ha - I must be IMPORTANT enough to warrant this", was spot on.
No more of that. Indeed, anyone who sees him should turn the other way. I think it would be really funny were he to overhear people say "Who?" upon the very mention of his name.

Responding to this kind of stuff keeps us on the defensive.
While we should continue to boycott, we should also blackout.
Hannity's behavior is text book.
at this point we are doing nothing but rewarding negative behavior with more attention.
There are many other things we can put all this energy to, rather than sending it toward the black hole which is OM.
