DO YOU THINK FOX IS STUPID? (if: yes. you NEED read this)
The real answer is no the boys over at fox are not stupid. I challenge you to watch the whole debate not just the ron paul parts but what the part where HUME confronts Paul about the ship boat commanders. Here Ill break it down for you. (then watch it for yourself RP SC debate part 3)
HUME: Congressman Paul, what if this happens again?
******************************************************************
He is referring to the Iranian speed boats***
******************************************************************
PAUL: I would certainly urge a lot more caution than I'm hearing here tonight. It reminds me of what happened in the Gulf of Tonkin. We went to war there, then, later on, found out there was a lot of false information.
So here we have -- let's put it in perspective. We have five small speedboats attacking the U.S. Navy with a Destroyer? They could take care of those speedboats in about five seconds. And here we're ready to start World War III over this?
And now, guess what, today, the Navy commander of the Fifth Fleet was on ABC and announced that, you know, that voice might not have come from those vessels. So what does that mean? Was there a rush to judgment on this, ready to go to war?
And you know there are people in this administration and in Washington, D.C., that are looking for the chance. They were so disappointed with the national estimate on intelligence. And they were disap-pointed that there's no attempt to build weapons in Iran since 2003.
HUME: Congressman...
PAUL: So what -- I just don't see this rush to judgment.
***********************************************************Okay they cut his earpiece or whatever here…***notice how he touches his ear*** HE CAN”T HEAR WHAT HUME IS SAYING!!!*** *********************************************************************
HUME: Well, wait a minute. All of these people I've asked this question to so far have said they sup-ported the decision to be passive. What are you responding to?
PAUL: I'm very sorry, I can't hear a word you said.
(APPLAUSE)
****************************************************************since he can’t hear anything he falls right into the trap and asks for such a damaging question to be repeated.*******************************************
You'll have to speak up.
HUME: Every one of these -- of your fellow candidates have said they supported the commander's deci-sion to respond passively. I just wonder what you're reacting to.
PAUL: Well, I didn't hear that.************************************************************* ***Again he can’t hear the question so he goes on with what he was saying*** ************************************************************ Of course we want caution. But I'm worrying about the policy of why we're looking for a justification. Now there are no weapons, actually people are looking around for an excuse to bomb Iran.
I mean, we're already, with our CIA, being involved in trying to overthrow that government, and we don't need another war. And this incident should not be thrown out of proportion to the point where we're getting ready to attack Iran over this.
HUME: Governor Romney, if it happens again?
ROMNEY: I think Congressman Paul should not be reading as many of Ahmadinejad's press releases. But let's...
(APPLAUSE)
**************************************************and then at the end Romney is asked the same question and he makes the final blow.***************************************************************>
and if you watch the whole debate you will see when huckabee is asked these questions he messes up and answered wrong so the commentator had to ask numerous clarification question to get the “right” response out of huckabee. (what a dope)
in closing fox planned this attack very well and planned it ahead of time so we should be rallying behind Dr Paul now more than ever instead of just being fair-weather fans. No one ever said it was easy to be a patriot. Do what it takes to get RP elected.

Earpiece Schmeer Piece
Earpieces? We don't need no stinking' earpieces!
If you are not OUTRAGED, you're not paying attention!
Help me understand this please!
I understood RP perfectly because I know where he stands on issues. However, others didn't understand and were seriously bothered by his response (I have been listening to local talk radio). What did they hear that I didn't? What was so bad about RP's response.
The weakness of those that are "SMART"
Is that they think others are not quite as smart.
Especially when you combine "SMART" with "BIG EGO"
This is a chink in the armor of those that wish to pull the wool over our eyes.
They will slip again, and we will catch them..Because the collective "WE" isn't stupid.
Bold
OMG its all bold!
Who Says They
wear EAR PIECES. Is this an obvious piece of knowledge that I just missed? Anyone?
I didn't even think
about the fact that they might have cut his earpiece....and yes, that's VERY ingenious if that's what they did....wow
Not the First Time
In prior debates/interviews, I wondered if he's just a bit hard of hearing. Sometimes it is very noisy background, or the moderator is clear across the stage from him, and obviously can't shout because he's wearing a mic.
I'm now convinced that management at Fox are control freaks (like wife batterers) who will stop at little to try and control this movement. I absolutely suspect they cut his mic.

Murdolf also owns The Times (timesonline.co.uk)

I am sickened and frustrated
I am sickened and frustrated by some people who are swayed so easily, the slightest thing can get them to change their mind, they go by a candidates looks, who's the best looking, they think one candidate is more charismatic than another so they choose to follow them instead even if that candidates platform is inferior(Obama comes to mind, he may be more charismatic than RP, but I could care less, its the platform and positions that are most important). They cave to peer pressure, their friends laugh and joke a candidate they like, so they switch to a candidate their friends like. And then people who are swayed and fooled by idiots like Frank Putz who runs those bogus focus groups. I could care less what others say, I believe in RP's message and positions and think they are the best for this country. RP is not a perfect man or a saint, but I am with him till the end, I believe in his message of peace and his plan to turn America around. I don't care how much people around me joke him or say his positions are stupid.
at this point, our entire culture is
celebrity based. Politics depends on the entertainment factor, you know, hucksters (not to focus on just one candidate), snake oil salesmen and other scoundrels. They've played that up for so long, most people just don't think about real issues beyond the bumper sticker, slogan level.
On top of all that, Dr. Paul is actually challenging the voters to take back their liberty and delivering the truth of our social situation. People resist hearing bad news, even if it's the truth.
Hi, my name is Hillary Clinton and I'm for change.
Hi, my name is Mitt Romney and I'm for change...
Hi, I'm just an unemployed citizen, do you have any spare change?
Audio Education
OK, I need to understand this better. What is a monitor, do they have a screen behind the podium or something? Do they use ear inserted microphones? How is the audio run at a presidential debate like this. I need some background here.
Apparently
It is easy enough to use hidden ear pieces within ear canals, that is how Dick Cheney can actually make GW's mouth move without messaging his jaws.
http://dir.salon.com/stor...
However, that would be an inferential leap to assume that his how Fox gets audio to the candidates ears on the debate stage. I know the original poster was speculating on this being one of the ways they could mess with the sound. I have always noticed that Dr. Paul has a hard time hearing the questions at Fox debates.
Sabotaging Ron Paul at Debate
Yes, I saw that too, but I don't recall exactly what Ron Paul was talking about when his mike was criminally shut off.
I don't recall EVER seeing the level of sabotage that these people are sinking to in trying to destroy Ron Paul. Are we sure this isn't the USSA?
Let the lawsuits begin and haul them all off to jail!!!
this much coordination required the assistance of
various technicians working for Fox. Conspiracies, when they really do exist, ultimately come to light. Someone will get fired or mistreated and will expose this, or just expose it to a magazine or whatever. If true, in terms of giving someone orders to cut his monitor, would be worth alot of money to the person who exposes it.
My big question from that debate, given that the Fox News organization is not stupid, is why did they NOT bring up the racism question. After all, it was breaking all over that day and Dr. Paul had been on CNN with Blitzer dealing with it at some length.
I'm at a loss to understand why they didn't hit him with it. Right now, I have a few guesses, but they are just my idle speculations:
1) they had a trap set up with the post-debate interview with Hannity, which Paul did not attend
2) they are somehow fearful of blowback onto the other candidates, associating Republicans with racism (in which case better to attack Paul in a one-on-one environment)
3) fearful of beginning a round of exposes of the other candidates' indiscretions, foibles, or shady connections, which would definitely include Giuliani, Roger Ailes' pal.
There just HAS to be a reason for that omission. We were all expecting the question.
Respond passively
Also what i heard was not passive, most of thier answers where we will make them pay! Another Fox setup by a big-big losser Hume what a joke.
BobMo
Can the missing sound
Can the missing sound problem be clarified and confirmed from f*x employees, officially or otherwise?
They had to let him in the debate.
We went so nuts and other media started to pick on Fox so they let him in the debate.
They did everything they could to screw him.
Ruppert Murdoch calls all of the political coverage shots at fox. HE OWNS FOX. He will do anything to stop Dr. Paul. Anything.
You have to help me here
I understood RP perfectly but others didn't and were seriously bothered by his response. What did they hear that I didn't?
Perfect!
I was watching it with my Wife, I turned to her and said" they just cut his monitor". I was looking for all the little tricks that Fix News was going to use and found a lot of little things they did to try to hurt RP. Anyone else notice?

Put this on utube To Expose them more
all evidence points to yes... err, i mean no.
anyone who doesn't think fox is out get dr. paul is living in a fantasy world.
ps. you got the bold on.
I know what you mean
I noticed this too, and think it was a trap. (Of course, all the other candidates were laughing, and the camera showed all that).
Are we going to leave our leader hanging just because we didn't get 3rd in New Hampshire? Go out and get your neighborhood to vote for paul in your own way.
Question
Do they wear ear pieces during these debates? I have noticed that Ron Paul
has difficulty hearing the questions. I was thinking that that the questions were amplified toward the candidates with speakers and they some how direct the speakers away from him to make it difficult for him to hear. Does anyone know if they use ear pieces?
