Well, somebody should organize a cheaper option so any money saved could be donated or spent wiser.

Hello Fabio in Germany, glad to have you dropping in for Ron Paul! I was stationed in Germany and loved your country. I have a story I will share with you, the short version.

I was sitting at a bar in New Orleans a few years ago and a man came in and sat down on the bar stool next to me. We started talking and I came to find out that he was in the USA on business from Stuttgart, Germany. We became friendly and talked for a long time over many beers. I learned a long time ago not to try to out-drink a German, but my Irishness will give you a run for your money! Our conversation came around to WW2 and what we both thought about it. I will save most of our political discussion for another day.

Come to find out his Grandfather fought in WW2 at the Battle of the Bulge, one of, if not the bloodiest of the war. Well, as chance would have it, my Grandfather also fought in the same battle (he came home alive, but broken). My grandfather and his grandfather were both actually trying to kill each other at one time. Some of our grandfather's fellow soldiers/friends probably very well killed each other in that battle. It was surreal to both of us that we were sitting at a bar together, buying beers for each other, smoking overly expensive cigars and laughing with each other, like old friends. It was a story I have told many times and will never forget.

I guess my point is, that government leaders are the ones that start these wars! The people are brainwashed and fed propoganda by the media and whatever other tools the government can use. Lies are laid down as truth and through this we are taught to hate fellow human beings. The leaders start these misled and horrendous wars and send THE PEOPLE in to do their killing and fighting. In the name of honor and patriotism. This spits upon and is contrary to the human spirit in each of us.

I think that 99.9% of the people on God's green earth just want to be free to live their lives peacefully and raise their families, to socialize and love one another. They really don't want to go to another country and kill people, we are ordered under the name of patriotism or brainwashed into that other people want to kill us and we must kill them first. For what, really? A man's power hunger? Oil? Riches? Our government rules us by distraction, division and fear. Keep this in mind as GW Bush and the neo-cons beat their war drums for Iran as they did before we illegally invaded Iraq based on lies and fear! Our troops and our tax dollars are in a country killing and being killed. We are killing and destroying a people that just want to live, love and raise their kids to have a better life than they had.

My nephew is being shipped off to Iraq next month and I am scared for him and mad as hell! The thing is, my own government and it's corporate media propoganda machine is making mine, his and your voice's smaller everyday as we lose little pieces of our freedom, one little bit at a time.

I went much longer with this post than I intended. I'll say though, we are all in this together, the whole world.

Thank you for writing your comments to us, Fabio. You reminded me of a wonderful memory and through that, I was able to share a small story here for others to read.

Ron Paul speaks the truth. He is our collective voice for our human spirit. He speaks and believes for all of us and even for those that hate him. We must never stop supporting this good man, if we do, we let ourselves and everyone else down. What we all support through Ron Paul is bigger than even some of us really understand and realize.

I just love the idea of "I am Ron Paul" to me this speaks so clear..because I am Ron Paul. Again...after this election...if he wins or loses...it does not matter. Dr. Ron Paul has changed my life forever. I am Ron Paul. He has driven me to do the research, and understand what politics is all about.

So, I am really an extention of Ron Paul. I am Ron Paul for life...how can you talk me out of the truth?

.....for that reason, I think I Am Ron Paul gets his unique message across. It is the reason race, religion, sociao-economic level, etc. are all mute issues. Each "I Am" is a unique individual with equal rights. Together, the "I Ams" are "We the People."
