I actually sent HQ this outline on http://www.dailypaul.com/... in late November and didn't get a response so I posted it online here. Look at my points from 5 - 9 (especially #9). Does it seem a bit prescient? Trust me...I get no satisfaction out of saying "I told you so". This could've easily been averted. Trust me...if the next money bomb fail we must all stick together around the idea of freedom and diminish this hero worship of Dr. Paul. By that time he'll have had almost ONE MONTH to dispel the allegations....

Listen up all you readers. Freedom is more important than one man. Freedom is in the hearts of everyone and we have to pull together at the local level first to see how we can make local change and then work as goups via meetup and face to face to make sure this message doesnt fade even if his candidacy does.

the media is a powerful beast and it informs most opinion... especially on a subliminal level. Most people only give politics a superficial gloss. They talk about what they've heard with each other and election day is basically a big popularity contest.

I think we can agree that the OM has not been treating Dr. Paul all that well. The fact that we can counter this negativity, and still pull at least 10% of the vote through the internet and grassroots is nothing short of amazing.

I think we are working. In no way should anyone feel discouraged. We need to get the word out through local media and continue to support fundraising efforts for the campaign and grassroots.

Unfortunately, in a democracy of the stupid, the people get the country they deserve.

When Ron Paul is mentioned it's always in a bad light. The people don't look around and search for the candidates view. They depend on the msm to tell them who to vote for.When something does come into the news they put on a political analist to then tell the people to see it thier way. They tear apart anyone elses views as kookie or crazy ideas. They laugh and ridicule that person. They insult that person. They try to paint that person as a bigot or racist. They tell the other people that thier followers are also whacky or cultish.

This is my first post ever on DailyPaul. I've been watching this site for a very long time but just never bothered to register.

Our public school system has failed our children and, for the most, part our generation. I'm 50 years old. Even when I attended public schools we were never really taught to think for ourselves. Critical thinking is not part of the agenda. "No Child Left Behind" is absolute proof of that.

Our children and my generation, both, had tests throughout the year that determined how well our school was following the current agenda. We had to know X, Y, and Z by the time we hit a certain grade. This didn't leave much time for open discussion or contrary opinion, as I recall. My papers were never returned advising that I include both sides of a story. No one ever said I should look at the other side.

I learned about critical thinking when I went back to college as an adult. It's a skill that needs to be learned, just as you would learn an effective way to study, or how you learn to write. If as a child you are never told that this is a skill that you will need to master in order to make educated decisions about things that will affect your life, you will not only not understand critical analysis of a situation, such as Ron Paul's analysis of our economy, but you will turn to those you do understand. Those who consistently appeal to the sheeple.

It's really sad. I've lived all over this country, the NE, the SW, and the SE. Everywhere I find these people that don't understand what's going on in the world around them. They don't listen to the news or pay attention to politics because many don't understand the process or the candidates. If they do pay attention then they will "buy" anything that they hear and never do additional research. They've never been taught to think. It scares me.

A perfect example, AZ recently prevented a charter school in Tucson from following the school's educational agenda. This school was outperforming every other charter school in the state. The reason? The school wasn't following the state's plan that was designed to comply with "No Child Left Behind". They were ordered to dumb-down their curriculum.

With this type of regulation our children will never learn to think. Ron Paul is dead on when he says we need to get the federal government out of our school systems.

I support Ron Paul and have working to get him elected since I heard about him from a co-worker back in Nov. - thank you Marleny!

They don't really care about politics, they figure they will wait until the General Election if they want to get involved, but really don't care all in all.

It's all about name recognition.

The name "Clinton" alone, like "Kennedy", will basically make them think they like the candidate simply because the name is familiar.

Most people just don't care about America, they just know that 99% of politicians lie and want to sell you something.

I think we need to focus on that.
Vote for Ron Paul, he doesn't want to run your life, we'll end the war in Iraq, and he'll work for a more stable economy.

We should start a huge petition - "No Clowns Allowed To Run On GOP Ticket" (okay you can come up with a more official name) and get millions of signatures and march it to Congress and demand that all candidates answer to our checklist of qualifications!

Throw those boorish juveniles out of the party altogether. They reflect so badly on our image as Americans.

Until the American people are truly pinched, it's not important enough for them to do the research that an election deserves. I've said it before and I'll say it again: This is nothing more than Caesar's "bread and circuses". As long as the American people are being fed and entertained, the powers that be can rule in whatever way they want and the people won't care. It's a shame. Our republic is being destroyed as we speak, and people just don't care!

Americans could not deal with the reality Ron Paul is making them face because it is bad news and depressing. What they don't realize is that there is hope at the end of the tunnel. As a fellow physician I am critical with Paul on one point. He gives the diagnosis but does not say the illness is curable and the prognosis is good with the right treatment. The positive needs to be given more focus.

We have been submerged in the media's BS for so long we are discrediting each other!

Think of your friends and family...are they nitwits? No, then talk to them! Convince them of the danger we are in...we are on a path off a cliff...and Ron Paul is the only one suggesting a change in course! We not only need to get the name out, but we need to show people just how passionate we are and why!

If we are 10% of the Republican voting population, how long would it take to get to the other 90% if we each took our share? And if we convince one, then won't they want to tell their family and friends too? We just have to keep our head up!

Yes people are indoctrinated from birth. We need to get our s--t together and buy a news channel to start with. that Americans are more interested in the package than whats inside. American's obsession with youth, bleached teeth, perfectly coiffed hair, designer look and the ability to spew sound bites at the drop of a hat, has blinded then to the truth when it is right in front of them. A lesson in point.. I have seen people pass up a home grown tomato, because of its blemishes and lack of perfect appearance, for a beautiful, polished, radiantly red thing called a tomato that tasts like s_ _ t.

alot of the problem is some christian people don't see that they are being mislead by their church. They do not know that the southern baptist and the word league of churches are signed up with the UN and are following "their"protocols. They are deaf to the fact that Huck is himself a globalist who thinks we are to "obey"the laws of the land as written in Romans. People think they are doing the right thing..They are deaf and blind to the reality that their church leaders are serving the state and furthering the agenda's of the UN.
It all sounds so noble and good to end poverty, feed the hungry, house the destitute, help the sick and diseased. As Paul has said that used to be the job of the churches. Instead they signed on to be Faith based Initative "organizations" 501(c3) and can not even lead people to christ.
Churches that are "recognised" by the government and are tax exempt are not suppose to be "political". They handed all their power over to the government to be "tax exempt" when they already were.
These 501c3 orgs. also have infiltrated alot of the private home schooling
associations. The schools must have acredidation, and most are through ACSI or ASCI (help me here home schoolers). They are also signed on with the UN. That is SCARY! I urge all home schoolers to read the book Brave New Schools by Breit Kjos and see for yourself just how deep the rabbit hole goes. People these days don't give out of the goodness of their hearts...they now give to these 501c3's and get a tax break. God was taken out of the equasion altogether.
