Just got off the phone with campaign HQ

Told them of my concerns about how the MSM is doing everything they can to squelch RP and his message. One of my examples was the rebroadcast of the SC debate by FOX and how they deleted RP's response to electability and how they tried to remove it from youtube.
The reason they deleted his response was it told the truth, was powerful and made people question. This very response is EXACTLY the kind of things the MSM does not want to get out because they know it will turn people into RP supporters.
I would guess that at least 90% of americans have no or very little time using the internet, the internet is what got me and I bet most of RP's supporters hooked on him.The internet is not biased and the truth is told for all to see,it is not skewed the way the MSM wants it to be.
Why not take the time to make an infomercial exposing the masses to what all of us have been exposed to....the truth.
Ross Perot garnered 20% of the vote providing infomercials that explained to the people what was going on.Our case is much better as we have freedom on the line and a revolution to back it.
It is time for infomercials,I have burned various RP youtube videos onto about 30 DVDs.EVERY single person I gave these to now supports Ron.
The time is now, maybe even have a,"Ron Paul supporters youtube clip special"...An hour long evening with the best clips supporting RP's agenda.....something along those lines.
We could have weekly Ron Paul hours on one of the big networks letting Ron show the truth.
Moneybombs could fund this I'm sure.
Anyways, the guy at the campaign headquarters told me to email my request for infomecials so he could print it off so he could show it to upper management.
If you agree with this,I suggest you do the same. There is a contact page at ronpaul2008.com

This is what I am doing..

If every dailypaul user did this we could get the message out in a huge way!
First, I ordered some Ron Paul DVD's at http://www.ronpaulreveres...
This takes some of your own money but the DVD's are cheap and they are geared towards introducing Ron Paul to newcomers. Perfect for what I'm doing.
There is also http://www.ronpauldvdproj...
These can both be downloaded with bittorrent along with other good DVD's such as "Ron Paul, a man of all seasons" and others.

Then I get addresses from http://www.louislogan.com...

I will take a piece of card stock, fold in half, trim a little over the size of the DVD, write a brief note on a post it note asking them to take a look at Ron Paul and consider voting for him in their primary (I also write the date of their primary), I put it all in the "sleeve" that I made along with a slim jim, tape 3 edges, address, and put a .58 cent stamp on and mail!

It's a good way to campaign after your state has had it's primary. Even if everyone sent out a couple of burnt DVD's it would be better than nothing!

dvd in every household

Great Idea!
Why doesn't the official campaign copy a few million dvds and hand them out to every single household? or at least to every likely voter.
There would be a lot of people watching them.

Is there anything on the DVDs themselves...

...to urge whoever has them to pass them on to other possible converts when they've viewed them? I'm frever telling people about Dr Paul and his campaign to liberate the country - what better way to do this than passing on the very thing that informed you of where he stands?

I'm sure this has already been thought of but I just thought I would ask the question.

=========================
Live Free or Die - Amen to that

if you don't mind

please ship one of the DVD's you use to me so I can watch it and make copies to distribute as well...Contact me via the DailyPaul contact method and I'll give you my personal mailing info.

thanks in advance

re-air

I missed the original airing of the debate and i used my DVR to record the re-air (comcast did not list the re-air in the guide, but when i tuned in late to watch the poll results, the re-air started afterwards.) The next morning I watched the debate, and in between commercials they went back to the Q and A on the Reagan questions. I thought my DVR was messed up, but after the next commercial, it was back on track. I thought this was wierd and did not realize anything was cut until I went to digg 12 hours later. THIS IS NOT A CONSPIRACY.

Ok, so where's the evidence?

Where is the video?

There Is A Post On Pat Buchanan's Blog

about the deleted portion. Surely someone monitors his blog. If it were not true, would the post still be there?

there

is your proof DEVON!

If you think that's proof

I hope you never serve on a jury.

To clear something up....

My name is Devon Saunders.. and I'm certainly not this Devon guy.. and I approve this message...lol

WELCOME

Di9scivery Chanel

John Edwards is running ads on the disciovery chanel. Ron Paul should do the same.

An hour of primetime

An hour of primetime television would cost millions of dollars, and to do it on a weekly basis would wipe out the campaigns coffers in less than a month. The campaign cannot even raise the needed 23million in time for super tuesday, how do we expect to pay millions for an hour long network primetime television spot.

Its a nice dream, but unless a millionaire decides to do something like that out of his own pocketbook (unaffilliated with the campaign) it wont happen.

He might be able to work out local or state primetime spots, but not Nationwide.

are you

suggesting that the hour of primetime would not attract ANY new donors??????

Partybomb

I know of a person who told me that he knew someone who had a party and over 45 people showed up and they all ended up donating to RP at the teaparty. The person advertised it locally as a "FREE PARTY" invitation by posting fliers all over town. He served hot dogs, chips, nachos, beer, and Ron Paul videos on youtube. I think several of the people that help plan his party brought laptops set up on the different issues that would relate to the individual.

I wasn't there, so I'm not 100% that this really occured, but it sounds like a good ideal...If we done this all across america, the "ronpaulpartybomb", may just well be a great investment on behalf of Ron Paul and the revolution. If you have a large group in your local area, spread them out in other area's (nearby cities with not much knowledge of Ron Paul) doing the same thing.

I don't know...Am I crazy?

An hour is very hard to do

An hour is very hard to do and costs a lot of money. However 5-10 minutes might be possible:

www.ronpauladdress.com

until we know the cost

I suggest you do not poo poo this idea

considering we have broken all time records for fundraisers,I think we could pull off the monies needed if we knew the good doctor was going to be PRIME TIME!!

Check out

http://www.ronpaulreveres...

I just ordered 500 DVDs and expect to receive them tomorrow. They are an excellent canvasing tool.

Great idea

And good for you for GETTING OUT THERE Jonathan. Foot soldiering will win this one.

Why still spreading this rumor?

Where is the video of the re-aired debate that has Paul's response to a question edited out? No one has been able to provide proof of this happening.

I leave it to you to prove it didn't happen.

Where is your proof that it didn't happen? I believe there is a specific amount of individuals that must witness something for it to be concluded as factual. So far, I've heard from about 30 different people. Not to mention the youtube video that was removed from the site.

There are just as many people that say they saw it

in the rebroadcast. Look at this thread: http://www.dailypaul.com/...

The Fox-ordered removal of the video from YouTube was OBVIOUSLY a hoax. I don't know how anyone could fall for that.

see below

or do some other research
the initial rebroadcast left it out.

Prove it

Where is the video? All I see are rumors flying.

what is your gig?

it was not in the initial rebroadcast. you should have watched.

What initial rebroadcast?

I think you and many Paul supporters have been the victim of a hoax.

You shouldn't continue to spread this rumor without proof of it being true.

Personal attack

There you go now with a personal attack. Instead of addressing the issue, you turn around and call the person a name and attacks his motives.

West Coasters said...

that when they saw the re-broadcast (after the live version 9pm EST), that the clip of Ron Paul answering the "electability" question was not aired.

So that clip was posted on YouTube and YouTube removed it.

I only saw the LIVE version in NY, so I cannot verify if the re-broadcast version did or did not edit it out.

That is a pretty elaborate hoax, if not.

I may be a vegetarian, but I'll defend to the death my right to eat pork!

Silly

So someone on the West Coast SAID this happened. That's meaningless.

And then the claim was that Fox was removing Paul's answer from YouTube. Think about how ridiculous that is. I don't believe that for a second. This indeed looks like a hoax. And it's not elaborate at all. I can put up a few posts that a particular reporter called Paul an "idiot." The Paul supporters are going to believe it, and start barraging the reporter with email and it's going to get posted all over the place. It's very easy to start these rumors and whip Paul supporters into a frenzy. If you say it was Fox, that's all the easier to get everyone in a conspiracy frenzy. Don't be part of the mob mentality.

I personally

have not seen the video that allegedly removed the question of electability...Everytime I click on the alleged link's provided, they have included the answer. I eventually stopped clicking...:-) Perhaps Faux did do it and their attorneys advised them to re-ad the part...At any rate, FAUXNEWS has certainly been totally unfair to RP when compared to the other candidates. Would you agree with that assesment Devon?

I like the "Best of" idea

Best of YouTube with extra clips from speeches and debates. Maybe someone could make one and send it to HQ for official review. If they can officially endorse it, it will be even stronger when we pass it out to newbies.

Youtube vids are a great idea.

What program do I need to do that? email me www.liquicon1@yahoo.com

i use

video piggyback google it
its fast and easy

Next Fox debate.

Dr Paul should use his time to expose them first and then walk of the stage.
Or stay there and ignore their questions. Simply use his time to talk to the American people about his positions.

Would they cut his mic off?

I wouldn't put anything past them.

Nothing evil

is beyond The Machine. This is why, when I'm physically speaking with other humans while canvassing my neighborhood, I make it a point to say:

"They are doing EVERYTHING they can to make sure Ron Paul is silenced. Doesn't it make you curious to know what they don't want you to know? I am coming to you in person, because the media won't do their jobs. Be sure to watch for this exclusionary, un-American censorship next time you watch the news. Then remember me standing here shaking your hand."

Again, people inherently don't like feeling like they're being bamboozled, so go straight for the jugular and tell them that they are being bamboozled.

youtube videos

i am making a collection of my favorite ron paul youtube videos and making a 1000 copies on cd-r to hand out in my precinct

I need one hour or half hour Ron Paul TV special

Does anyone have the ideal Ron Paul documentary or MTV type show for cable family TV? I have an offer for a one hour slot but all of the official Ron Paul campaign videos are way too boring. We need to stimulate voter turnout!! Ron Paul please, STOP with the downward slanting stripe ties!!

i rewatched the debates last night

. they aired his response.

what event do you specifically speak to?

i saw it with my own eyes....the one i watched live seemed to be the same one i watched last night....

clip? section? moment?

they put it back in

the initial re-air did not include Ron's home run

I don't think so

I think this has been just another conspiracy rumor. No one has provided any of video of the "rebroadcast" without Paul's reponse in it. I think the editing out of Paul's response never happened.

Stop It!

I didn't give money to the campaign in order to have it wasted by staff answering phone and e-mail about suggestions on how to run the campaign. No matter how good the idea is.

Post it here, and they'll see it or may be already working on it or already decided it won't work cost-effectively or whatever. Or go do it yourself.

Don't waste the campaign's resources by advocating spamming.

IMissLiberty

The

campaign has asked for suggestions, look it up!!!!!!!
considering I have donated the max and they are asking for suggestions,I thought I would send them my concens.
The guy at the campaign asked for me to send it in email form.
You guys need to chill.

Don't worry IMissLiberty...

...back when the campaign first started, since I was on the Harry Browne 2000 staff, I sent them what we called a "yotta form", which is short for "you ought to".

It's designed to weed out the armchair QBs out there. Anyone who has a really good idea will take the time to fill it out and provide the necessary data the campaign would need to know.

The armchair people won't.
