There are two bull fights going on in this video. The Evil Manipulators pose the civilians as a red cape to the cops. The Evil Manipulators also pose the cops as another red cape to the demonstrators. Both sides are being deliberately manipulated by the Evil Manipulators to charge the bogus cape and leave the Control Freak Matadors free to continue their nefarious scheming and manipulating all the while basking in luxury and laughing their fat a$$e$ off at how easily they fool and con the people to charge the wizard's capes fighting themselves for their pitiful few bogus FED note paychecks.
When both foolish sides look/wake up enough to see the Evil Matador holding the capes the fight will change and the real perpetrators will be rounded up. Then we can all go home and be at peace.
Wow, what a scam and so easy to control....
PS: I used to wonder (but no more) why Boosh et al always appear to be laughing and having so much fun. If you were a bully accustomed to stealing everyone else's lunch money you would be laughing your a$$ off too.

They may not support some of the other groups that have jumped on the RP train. Some of those folks may be here, posting. We Paul supporters have a great relationship with the military and police. That is OUR history. Ron Paul has received endorsements and money from them. So, go post your paranoia somewhere else. This forum is for Ron Paul and his supporters. Many supporters are police officers and military. Lets not let others hijack our movement.

I've asked you several times now to cite even a single act of violence by any of the protesters shown in the police video. You haven't. You simply post a reply to the thread calling me and presumably the rest of those who feel the way I do another name. Should I respond like the officers you're defending and pepper spray you or whack you with a baton? If I understand your logic so far, you've called me names, so I have the right to respond with force, correct? How can you not see what was done by those officers as a serious offense and yet claim to love freedom & liberty? I simply don't get it.
So, for every time you tell us we ought to just keep quiet and respect the 'authorities', I will stand up and tell you and your audience that the authorities are there to protect our individual rights, not deny them to us. That is OUR message Dave, that our government's purpose is to serve and protect OUR rights...not the other way around. Maybe if you were one of us, you'd understand that.
How can you, as a former soldier, endorse the behavior of even so much as a single person that denies the Constitutionally protected rights of another? I urge you to carefully reconsider the oath you swore. Here's the text, in case you forgot it...

I think there is a problem with what you just said. Your job is to serve and protect. Who do you serve and protect? The public. The very people who pay your wage (unlike someone else stated on down the post). Law inforcement should only kick in if someone has commited a crime. This is the breach of trust that is happening in this country. The general public is innocent until proven guilty.

When you take pictures and dress in riot gear when the public is gathering. It is you who are prematurely sounding the alarm (This is the action that should show movement from serving and protecting to enforcment). The only reason riot gear should be put on is if a riot is imminent. It is clear there was no bottle thrown in this clip. It is clear these policemen wanted to show their force and their ability to do bodely harm from the minute they walked out in this garb. If yo notice I don't refer to them as officers. They are policemen nothing more nothing less. They can refer to each others titles when there in there offices and talking on the radio If they are all of this rank then the rank is nothing more than to build them up to think the're military. They are not to be anything like the military. Military should not even be aloud lose on public streets (in mass or in formation) while on active duty. It is against the law, at least it always has been. Who knows now they have probably taken that law away from us too. Military should not be able to even join the police force. The training for these two jobs should never even look alike. The military is trained to take life. The police should be trained to save life. Anyone who says they require the same training to do these two polar opposite jobs should be checked out for mental defect. People say but the protect us we should show them respect. Really I work everyday building the houses you people live in I work up to 5 stories in the air anything over a 3 story fall is usually fatal. You say yeah but these guys have people shooting at them. I have high pressure nail guns shooting at me all day one guy misses and bang nail sticking in you I've been shot 6 times one almost left me crippled ( a shot to the knee) Get shot in the head and boom its over. It is best to educate people about the problems, then let them draw their own conclusions about who is exacerbating it. Recently I explained to some huckabee supporters about the CFR and asked them why as religious people they would support such a thing? I left them thinking. I did not attack huckabee or call him names. Provoke thoughts, not people.

This video is important because it shows us how close to the edge we are. How often do you hear people say "At least I'm free to disagree". If you say that you aren't, they don't take you seriously. This video is a eye opener for people who don't worry about the growing police state.
I watched this video and was shocked. I'm now thinking that this isn't that much further than the Chinese cracking down on the Buddhist monks or even the young guy standing in front of the Chinese tank in Tiananmen Square.
You combine this video with the ones I've seen of the FEMA camps that have been built and you really begin to get nervous.
This is a wake up call. It will provoke me to look more deeply into this issue and motivate me to talk to others about this.

the supporters who think it evolved to generalize and expect the police to stand by hour after hour as punks wearing masks flip them off and call them pigs. These same assholes tear up towns after college football games, etc. Yet, we want our police to be good little boys and girls. BS. This movement had better realize OUR behavior during protest will play a huge role. That is REALITY. The aggressive behavior displayed in the video was not productive. It accomplished NOTHING. The POINT of a protest is to change people's minds
If acting childishly (here: calling cops "pigs" and using obscene gestures and language for the sake of obscenity) turns off the vast majority of citizens (it does) then the protest does not accomplish its goals.
The reason to protest is to try to convert people to a worldview; to make them aware of what's going on and tell them to "PAY ATTENTION." Doing so in an incredibly juvenile manner doesn't work. Period.
Flipping people off and behaving childishly just shows that many of THESE protesters (not all protesters, just these specific ones) were doing it as a masturbatory exercise with no actual desire to cause change. It's fun to say "fuck the police" and flip people off. There's an adrenaline rush. But it's also entirely masturbatory--it accomplishes nothing.
It's a lot harder to actually do what it takes to cause change.

What about that older woman? How many of those people do you think were "Punks?" What about the mothers of sons that are dying in Iraq? Did you watch the whole thing? If they were true "Punks" they wouldn't be protesting because they wouldn't care about politics. These were all people exercising their right to free speech. Ceasar at that time was considered god. When The Lord Jesus Christ, said "...render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's and unto God what is God's". In this statement he reduces Ceasar from a god to nothing more than a human steward. By simply stating that Ceasar was NOT God.

You people can't even admit the behavior of the protesters played a role in the escalation of violence. Their behavior makes a difference. Do you think that made it pretty hard for good officers to disobey orders? They have a right to act like fools, true. Did it help the situation? What did they accomplish that day? Anything? Yep, the cops were wrong and they were helped by the immature Americans who felt it necessary to focus their rage on them. That was stupid and the result was predictable. So, let’s try not to emulate the emo kids in masks. Let’s make sure we have a clear positive message. One that does not involve calling the police pigs or flipping them off. Please read my posts below. Looks like we have one person-davemac-who is a police officer defending other police officers. We are all trying to make him understand that orders do not have to be followed if they are unconstitutional.
That is all well and good for us that aren't police officers; However police officers need to decide whether a paycheck or standing up for Americans rights is more important. Not an easy decision with a mortgage, family etc.. But in the beginning the Brave man is alone and only after he has trimuphed will lesser men rally to his side.

It's time to stop acting like victims. You want cops to be nice, tell your fellow supporters not to call them pigs, flip them off or blame them for all the ills in the world and remind them many support Dr. Paul. Time to grow up kids.

Police don't have to be nice inorder to serve and protect. They do have to follow the law while they are enforcing the law.
The end does not justify the means. So, perhaps protesters will stop actinig like victims when police officers stop breaking the law in order to enforce the law, i.e. acting like criminals.
The world is up side down enough without police officers injecting themselves between protesters and the politicians they protest. Why is it that police officers have allowed themselves to become instruments of "control" on behalf of politicians that are raping and pillaging our rights, our treasure, and our sovereignty?

Just like guns don't kill people. People using guns kill people. The politicians in the Hilton used the cops to break up that mob violently. If cops were given good orders to stay away and just contain the mob then we wouldn't have this problem. None of those protesters were doing anything but voicing their opinion.

If you believe that the police exist to "protect and serve" us (the sheep), then you are sadly naive. They exist to serve those that sign their paychecks. Why should they be overly concerned with John Q Public? Those in power unable to win your servitude with persuasions or outright lies, will always resort to arming their enforcers with weapons to make you understand things the "right" way. Did you even watch the video? It clearly shows a non-violent demonstration (yes, cursing and giving the finger is non-violent) deevolve into a one sided beat down by the cops. I'm not against police officers doing their job to protect, but not to torture. No one in that video was doing anything to warrant the violence inflicted on them.
Growing up also entails respecting other peoples right to assemble and voice thier opinion (in a non violent way). Cops, believe it or not, are not there to stop us from voicing our opinion. The only reason this demonstration got violent was because the cops instituted violence amongst people exercising their first right. Once again, have you read the constitution?
