According to Paul Harvey today...

If I have to watch McCain give another one of his monotone, boring speeches, ended with, "And I know how to do" then his grin, and 6 blinks of his eyes, I'll vomit.

Ok, lets try to put a timeline together.

1) Prior to the Iowa caucus, a debate is scheduled and FOX declares a candidate must have a certain percentage to qualify. At the time, Ron Paul doesn't. In days, his polling rises to qualify so FOX cancels the debate.

2) After the Iowa caucus and $20M 4th quarter fundraising made public, FOX decides to exclude Ron Paul from a New Hampshire forum and has some pretty big "blowback" by Ron Paul supporters.

(Based on #1 and #2 above, it appears FOX news intends to shut Ron Paul out completely from Iowa on.)

3) Iran fast boat video appears.

4) McCain wins New Hampshire

5) After a recent history of exclusion, FOX magically decides it's ok to have Ron Paul in the South Carolina debate. In so doing, they set up the Frank Luntz hit, the Carl Cameron electibility question, and the Iran threat in order to try to make Ron Paul look silly. They even go to the effort of having the other candidates make faces, etc, in order to get the crowd to react so that the audience believes the crowd is laughing at Paul.

So, is it too far of a reach to think that in order for some of FOX's plans in #5 to work, they needed a #3 type of event. Could they be Paul Harvey's "trickster"?

This is great! It is an improvement that people are asking questions and want more proof. They have GW figured out and know these people want the truth. Why is no one being outted and made to answer some hard questions on this? We gave the Congress to the Democrtas to reel this president in and they have done nothing! Why are there no Dems raising hell about this?

also when you hear the "you will explode" radio threat there is no wind sound or motor sound from the boat, those motors are loud. instead it sounds like it was inside. no backround noise at all. these guys are busted!

just perfect to project old ironsides McCain into the victory lap in New Hampshire.........rattle that war chain.......American's are unsafe......terror everywhere...........when's the last time you saw a terrorist? Our government would build the entire policy around "terror"..........

Wow. That's almost unbelievable.

I'm glad to see that the terrorist-suicide-bombers in that picture had the sense to wear their life jackets.

Ron Paul is right again... The Navy times, etc... we need to get this out so when Dr Paul mentions it in the next public forum, people will know it is true. No more laughing Rudy in the mix.

but rather with calm, collective reasoning. I mean, think about it. Would a few speedboats attack a U.S. Battlegroup? Would they? We see them coming from miles away electronically and 1000's of yards physically.

Except in the case of the U.S.S. Cole where we were a sitting duck in a notorious Bay with questionable protection...don't get me started!..a Battlegroup would only be a suicide mission for these little boats.

Dr. Paul spoke rationally as these Commanders on the scene reacted rationally. Huckaboo would have "blown them to Hell"! Ask questions later. Good job, Huckleberry!

This is just another example of the thoughtful, sensible response of Ron Paul. Unfortunately, common sense doesn't seem to be so common in the GOP. The debate on Thursday was another muscle flexing display of demagoguery. I am so tired of seeing the "experts and viable candidates" make fools of this country in the forum of worldwide public opinion. It's as painful and clumsy as a prizefighter that leads with their jaw.

Ron Paul's insight is amazing.
