Daily Paul - Does Daily Paul really support Ron Paul?

Ron Paul's website has come out and specifically asked that we quit trying to get a recount in New Hampshire and has said he does not support one.

I used to love coming to Daily Paul to see what was going on. I doubt I will continue coming here for my news. Ron Paul's blog is much more informative. And I am sick and tired of visiting a website that promotes stuff Ron Paul is against (a New Hampshire recount). This website should change its name to "Daily Recount". Bye.

What??

"You use to love to come to Daily Paul".....wow, in that whole 3 weeks you've been here you're ready to leave over one issue....this campaign goes on for months. If one little issue can make you leave then how will you stand the whole election process?

First off, it's not Dr. Paul who is asking for the recount....it's the american people. And, apparently two other officals are going to request it also....so Dr. Paul has NOTHING to do with the recount and we are fine with that.

I hope that you will reconsider, and realize that this is just one of many struggles....but I suppose if you have to go, we understand.

Kucinich and some other dude

Kucinich and some other dude is doing the recount. Just because there are posts here that report update to the recount doesn't mean we're pushing for it in defience of the campaign. We all understand that Dr. Paul isn't pursuing the recount, and most probably agree with his rationale. That doesn't mean we can't keep up with other people's efforts to keep election officials honest. Fraud hurts everybody (except the person comitting it), and needs to be addressed. There is nothing wrong with supporting Ron Paul's decision to opt out of the recount, and others efforts to conduct one.

Dr. Paul did not ask us to

Dr. Paul did not ask us to quit trying he simply said he would not do it himself. So another republican candidate along with Kucinich are doing it. If they uncover something it will prevent future fraud.
Where have you been? Fraud is real. It really happened many times. It still happens so we must take precautions against it. It seems to be you, Sir, who is "against the campaign."

Exactly. It's about future Diebold States.

Are you for real? Ron Paul

Are you for real?
Ron Paul is doing what he has to do and saying what he feels he has to say in regards to the recount. He does not want to be associated with a recount when he has other states to win and other battles to fight that are more important to him at this point. However, to suggest that Ron Paul would be against a fair and accurate recount is ludicrous. Just because he himself did not call for one, does not mean that he is opposed to it. Anyone who would try to stop a recount in an obviously rigged primary should probably watch more FOX news.

Exactly. It's for the VOTERS!

Who told you the recount is for Ron Paul?

Im of the impression its for Albert and Dennis- so the posts may be a little off topic yes- but faith in the process helps faith in the candidate so Paul benefits.

My point the other day EXACTLY!!!

I tried a post the other day that when it came down to it, merely stated that I wanted the best for Dr. Paul - and I was run out of this site on a rail, others posting that I wanted to start discord between Ron Paul & his campaign & my post was flagged. (NOT TRUE at all, BTW). I wonder --- why would true Ron Paul supporters not want the same? Especially when their hard-earned money is donated to His message & campaign? Also, how come ever since right after Christmas, I am always seeing other candidates names under Active Forum Topics?? I realize there are intelligent discussions to be had, but shouldn't the MAIN TOPIC be Ron Paul & not what Ghouliani wants to do, or what Obama said? If I wanted to know that Rude-y wants, I'd visit his supporter forum!!!
Something is wrong here. Ron Paul supporters need to fight for this site, (which could've been easily bought), or start a new one. SIMPLE.

How wonderful competition

How wonderful competition is, when one company falters in a particular market there is always an alternative to pick up its customers.

i.e. Daily Paul vs. The Daily Dose

I disagree that Daily Paul is a detriment, but there are certain some people here who would rather see paul take a major credibility hit (when he's already fighting the press on that subject) when we can let others do what may or may not need to be done (recount).

I agree - this site needs a

I agree - this site needs a moderator or it runs the risk of being a detriment

I've been thinking the same thing for a while now....

Way to many of the posts and main topics are not of a productive nature and are far more likely to do damage than anything else. A moderator is greatly needed.
