I have seen his facial 'injuries' change a great deal over time. i have even seen him with bandages over that particular cheek lump that seems to grow in size from time to time. I seriously wonder if this is some skin disease or cancer or something. I also wonder if this ailment is responsible for some of his famous temper. He has chosen public life and he must accept the positive with the negative. Age and Health are serious concerns for many voters. Do we really want to worry about our president having to spend time in and out of hospitals? or worry if their physical ailments are affecting their psychology?
...Where are the rest of the votes going? If Thompson is not listed, then he has less than JulieAnnie's 4%. So that still leaves at least 4% going to someone else. Who?
1) Most of the delegates are awarded to district winners
1) Only delegates count in the convention
2) Zero precinct wins and 4th on the state level means zero to one delegates
I posted about a few possible distrcits( 5 and 12-14) held by anti-war democrat congressmen that we could win. Is there any news about those?
I hope the 10% means that we got a win in one to three of the those districts and score delegates to the convention.
I'd rate the scumbags #1 Giuliani - 911. #2 McCain - fake war hero, traitor #3 Huckabee - dubious Christian #4 Thompson - lobbyist war monger #5 Romney - War pig
All of them put together aren't worth one Ron Paul.
bain capital founder. Bain just bough clear channel communications. His chief advisor is high up on blackwater staff. Bain and Carlyle have partnered on equity projects.
I have been wondering, since lack of money and fund raising ends campaigns early, and should end Huckabee and Rudy and Thompson; Ron Paul should be able to go the distance. Ron's numbers and delegates should go up making him a player at the convention. Just a thought.
Romney did not pick up half of the betting money McCain lost. This means that bettors just lost faith in McCain as the eventual winner but did not necessarily believe Romney's win toníght would bring him the nomination either.
That McCain suffered severe injuries and burns in his military service?
I personally find it offensive to talk so much about people's looks. People cannot really help the way they look, whether they are gorgeous or pathetic and it is no fun for me to read or think about the way people look. Certainly we all have things we would like to be different.
In Michigan where Ron Paul again didnt spend alot of monies getting 4th at 10% is quite awesome....
Obviously South Carolina is the first place he intends (I darn well hope) to take a REAL STAND for the nomination...
I *am* sincerely disappointed in NH but considering everyone claims they have been banged on 10 times for each candidate I assume the state was BLITZED after all and with Ron not spending alot of money there, perhaps it WAS the best strategy...
He's gonna have to spend it sometime and I have a feeling SUPER TEUSDAY he is going to go all out for advertising... betch ya!!!
Agreed --- McCon is so repellent, I can't even stand looking at him and his yellow teeth and his chipmunk cheeks! He and Ghouliani give me the chills, they are so creepy! But oh, he's the "maverick"! Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my ass too.
Since we are rating scum factor here, please don't put anyone above Huckliebee.

I wish folks wouldn't be so disappointed 10% can change this country! As has been said it just isn't going to happen over night.

If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin. Samuel Adams
This is a very big deal for me. Back in early 2006, when I first heard about a horrendous law forcing me, as an American male, to be background checked just to be able to say hello to a foreign woman online, I was shocked to find that only Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo (and 2 Democrats) had voted against the law.
I found people at conservative and liberal forums were uninterested in the subject of Internet regulation and online dating rights.
They just did not CARE. If anything, they were interested in giving their opinions on men who would date foreign women, not their opinions on what our right to assembly is all about according to the 1st Amendment.
Then I looked up the history of libertarian voting patterns and I saw it never amounted to more than 3% in a national election.
Now, with the RP Revolution, libertarian-minded people are polling consistently at 10%, in terms of real voting behavior.
Ron Paul did not even campaign in Michigan and got that 10% (hopefully).
This means he will surely get 10% in Nevada and western states like Colorado.
RP Supporters are going to be the Kingmakers in the 2008 election at the very least.
McRudyromabee Thompson will probably join up to nominate one of themselves while taking promised positions in his administration.
But they will need the RP Supporters to win the general and we won't be budging until we see the Republican Party accept most of our platform.
proof, I personally believe there are far more people who support the Constitution than 10% (I mean no offense). They just have not yet heard of Ron Paul. I good indicator here in Hot Springs, AR; is about 75% of the people I canvass and talk to have never heard of Ron Paul or if they have, they did not know how strong his allegiance is to the Constitution. That gives me great hope and helps solve one of the problems; name recognition, in my state anyway.
The only forseeable hindrance is the infamous time factor as "vote" day is quickly approaching (Feb. 5th) my state. I hope those of you who are in Arkansas have become delegates, precinct leaders, etc; and have been working your feet to the bones and have callousus on your ears (from phone calls to the registered voters in your precinct) in order to get name recognition for Ron Paul.
This could be our last chance in getting a President that's worth far more than his weight in gold....
The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny. James Madison
The Libertarians you said polled at 3%. They did not run as Republicans and they were not ever running to win, just to get their message out. That is why I got so excited this time that he had the good sense to run as a Republican, even if he has to go independent later-that might not be a bad move-but I hope that doesn't happen.
True. It just seems that with all the 3-eyed monsters in the race, the choice for Dr Paul would be so much more obvious to so many more Americans...it's even obvious to people of other lands...
I was never libertarian before, but as we know, the far left have merged with the far right to form this FAR OUT brew and Dr Paul just happened to be there right before my very eyes.
Guess that gets back to the word not getting out vis-a-vis the blackballing by the OM....a travesty for those Americans who so deserve and need to hear his message.

4th state wide is not a victory - district wins count
And why...
1) Most of the delegates are awarded to district winners
