MI primary results GoogleMap

Here's my MI4RonPaul primary results map, now open for collaboration:
http://maps.google.com/ma...

I've included results by county (red = best, orange = average, yellow = worst...parsed, as usual, from MSNBC), plus the locations of the Meetups and the four offices mentioned in this thread here. (Did the Grand Rapids office ever open? It's not mentioned on the MI RP website.)

We did best in Hillsdale County! We still only came in fourth overall in Hillsdale, but there, it was with 17%, right behind numbers 1-3. Ron Paul also got 13% in Lapeer. What was different there? Effort put in, or demographics? I did read that there's a very interesting college there that teaches the Constitution and doesn't accept Fed money.

What else? Where did ads play? Where was canvassing done? Inquiring minds want to know.

Casinos do a better job...

at watching for cheating than our own government's voting system. I'm in NY and thank God we don't have machine voting.

I would be really pissed.

excellent point

I really don't have a comment except that I think it's a good idea to get this notion in root in people's brains. It really gives you something to think about. Not a soul could deny this, I imagine.

Perhaps we can push for BBC, Herald Sun, other international big-name publications to start suggesting this to the world.

Can casinos advertise on national television? It just dawned on me that I have never, ever seen one, at least not that I can recall. Billboards, however, are another story. They could play on this theme in their advertising and make people chuckle--and then think. Travel companies, too. Airlines also have this potential, I would think.

Watch out, NY might get electronic-only voting

New York to decide on electronic voting machines by Feb 8th.

As a result of the Department of Justice lawsuit regarding New York
State's lever machine replacement, New York State's county level
election commissioners have until February 8, 2008 to choose whether to
use either a paper ballot based ballot marker and scanner system, or a
direct recording electronic (DRE) voting system for each county.

It's up to the County Commissioners. Contact yours!

people at work were wishing they voted for Ron Paul. They are starting to realize our govt. is not for the people.

Why in the world are ANY of

Why in the world are ANY of you using anything but an absentee ballot? Why wait until the last minute, and subject your vote to a faulty machine?

Not to be a nay-sayer

but do you remember when they found boxes of uncounted absentee ballots in that woman's office in Florida?

Voting is archaic, sloppy,

Ron Paul War Room

From Ron Paul Supporter Michigan below

Voter #1 Genoa Township, Michigan Precinct 3. Voting problems?
Posted January 15th, 2008 by LettenYouKnow
First observation…
-Diebold

I was the first voter, I circled in Ron Paul and put my ballot into the machine. Spit it right back out and said INVALID BALLOT.

Second guy gives it a shot. INVALID BALLOT.

I begin arguing with the lady running the precinct about computer voting and people voting. This lady actually says in a room full of people that Computers are better at counting ballots than people, cause people make mistakes. who makes computers?

So to finish it up, she calls the township. she says I can keep my ballot in a secret compartment and they will put it through later once its fixed.

So they call her back. She gets off the phone. She says the manufacturer says there is a problem with a memory card. Someone from the manufacturer will be there with a new memory card soon.

It doesn’t help that I just watched a darn documentary about DIEBOLD and MEMORY CARDS.

I immediately left and drive to the township office to voice my complaints. They must still be sleeping.

You should have broke every

You should have broke every goddamn machine in the room.

this should be major news!!

this should be major news!!

(if it's true)

Scary stuff. I'll never

Scary stuff. I'll never trust those things. I like how Australia does it: paper ballots, counted by hand, with a shoulder-surfer watching every counter for mistakes. It may take longer, but I'm willing to wait for accurate results. Our drive-thru "infotainment" culture is what brought about these machines; we want results NOW, on live TV.

Ignorance and Apathy: Enemy Number 1!

This is a response to the post titled: "Attention Ron Paul Supporters."

Thank you for the great post! Way to many people are getting side-tracked and blaming everybody except the voters. Truth is, our main enemy is the ignorance and apathy of they typical voter. If we don't focus on this, we aren't going to get anywhere fast.

Fabulous video! Fabulous song!

Good Soundbites

For the UAW - votes against NAFTA and is FOR maintaining our national sovereignty - no merge with Mexico and Canada!

For the senior citizens - votes to maintain the Social Security Fund instead of STEALING money from it for other government purposes. We don't need to mention he would like to offer alternatives to young folks. He fights to bring the cost of prescription drugs and medical care down.

For Pro-Life - Overturn Roe vs Wade

For Pro-Choice - Overturn Roe vs Wade but put control back in the hands of the states to decide. Ask them if they know Roe vs Wade legalizes abortion in the 3rd trimester.

Veterans / military - Ron Paul's stand -- we need to support the needs of our veterans better - health / financial. For a strong Military. He wants to protect OUR borders.

Educators - Overturn NCLB -- No Child Left Behind. This has been a sore spot for teachers and local districts nation wide. It is a mandate without funding, partly a cause for many school districts going broke across our country. When Ron Paul says get rid of the Department of Education --people's first reaction is --- oh - he must not care about education. Instead he needs to say "get rid of NCLB" and let the teachers / schools and parents decide how best to educate the students. Use the money we spend on NCLB to pay teachers better and fund schools.

Well...this is just a start -- I'm sure I will think of more. :)

Keep spreading the message.

RP SOLID 4TH RIGHT NOW!!!!

Total Vote Count -- Combined IA, NH, and MI Results
Posted by Nick Bradley at January 16, 2008 08:08 AM

Here are the combined vote totals for IA, NH, and MI:

Romney - 443,139 Total Votes – 36.89%
McCain - 361,546 Total Votes – 30.10%
Huckabee - 207,308 Total Votes – 17.26%
Paul - 84,554 Total Votes – 7.04%
Giuliani - 50,925 Total Votes – 4.24%
Thompson - 49,198 Total Votes - 4.10%
Hunter - 4,567 Total Votes - 0.38%

Paul is in a solid fourth, increased his percentage lead over Giuliani by 300% in Michigan, and should stay in fourth through SC and NV, where Thompson and Giuliani will close the gap in each state. In other news, the latest CNN/Politico/LA Times California poll has Paul at 8%, with no candidate garnering more than 20% in the poll. The poll had a huge margin of error (6%), which makes Paul and four other candidates technically tied in the Golden State.

Attention Ron Paul Supporters

Attention Ron Paul supporters,

Stop whining. It gets you nowhere.

We are not really doing that badly in this campaign. We’re doing much better than Ron Paul ever suspected to do. We have a lot of things working against us, so the 6-10% we’re getting is very respectable. Let’s look at the cards stacked against this campaign:

· The New Republican Party – The neo-cons stick together. Look at how the republican party in general has stuck behind Bush even when he’s a war-mongering, spend-happy liberty-destroyer. If you listen to talk radio, you know what I’m talking about. A few bold republicans have vilified Bush for his non-conservative actions while in office, but most have not.

· Apathy and ignorance – Let’s face it. Most people have no idea that the Federal Reserve isn’t a department of our Federal government. They have no idea that our leaders have turned our country, it’s wealth, and our past and future efforts as U.S. citizins to international banking interests. We have to educate them, and that’s not going to happen overnight. It’s been like this for over 100 years, and no one has done anything about it until now. At least average Americans are talking about monetary policy now… thanks to Ron Paul. The ideological platform that Ron Paul espouses fixes many basic problems we have with this country, but I’m afraid that the sheeple won’t do anything to fix it… at least not until things get much worse. No matter who we have in office this next term… demo or repub… things will get worse, you can count on it. (Unless Paul manages to pull it out somehow, of course.) Americans are still fat, dumb and happy for now. But as the dollar continues to tank, and gas prices continue to rise, and Americans continue to die overseas… that will change. As apathy turns to anger, Ron Paul’s support will rise.

· The “horse race” mentality of the American public – I was talking with a good friend of mine the other day, and when I said that the only man worth voting for was Ron Paul, he said, “Yeah, but he doesn’t have a chance to win. I wasted my vote on Harry Brown, and I’m not doing that again.” My response was, “Did you vote for the guy you thought would do the best job leading our nation at the time?” and he said yes, he thought so. So I told him, “Then your vote didn’t get wasted.” So many Americans feel they have to vote for “the lesser of 2 evils”, or to vote for someone who “has a chance to win”. It’s not a horse race. That is no way to decide who you support. But people choose to have this mentality. I used to be the same way, always voting for the republican nominee even if I didn’t like them that much… just so the democrats wouldn’t get in office. Well, now the two parties are both the same… big government, globalist, war-mongerers. So, the only way to vote is for Paul, whether he has a chance or not. No one else will change things. People have to get out of this “vote for the winner” mentality. Once again, I don’t think this will change until things get much worse in this country.

· The “Hollywood” mentality of stupid Americans – Some people look at the election as a beauty contest or a popularity poll. They vote for the one who is “so articulate” or for the one who is a “great orator” or for the one who used to be an actor. This is so stupid I don’t even want to discuss it.

· MSM and the lack of time/boots on the ground – Let’s face it, the Ron Paul movement gained serious momentum a little too late to make a huge difference in the early primaries. He’s done exceptionally well considering he is virtually ignored by the msm. (Well, they don’t ignore him entirely… sometimes they bring him up just so they can cut him down.) But to reach the people, we as Ron Paul supporters have to do it one-by-one. We can’t count on the msm like the neo-cons can. As long as Rupert Murdock owns television, we’re going to have to realize that the msm are always going to talk about Ron Paul as a “kook” or a “fringe” candidate. That’s fine. We just have to spread the word person-to-person. As things get worse in this country, this will be easier to do. As he gains supporters, he also gains more boots on the ground to spread the message even further. As his support grows, it will almost grow exponentially… as one person tells 2… who tell 2 or 3 more… and so on. This takes time and dedicated supporters. It will not happen overnight. As his support base grows, however, the rate of bringing on new supporters will increase. 3x3x3x3x3 over and over, only 16 times = 43,000,000 votes. But… if you look at it half-way through though this process, 3x3x3x3 over and over, only 8 times… it’s only 6,561 votes. That’s the power of geometric progression and exponential growth. If you look at it that way, only having 10% of the vote means we’re probably well more than half way to achieving our goal.

I haven’t tried to be discouraging in this post. We should be encouraged. 50,000 people in Michigan voted for the man who “has no chance”. The message is getting out. Even if we don’t win the nomination, a revolution has begun… and it’s growing by leaps and bounds. Just keep talking to people. Join the meetups and keep the energy going. We’ll get there. We just have to be patient. (The globalist war-mongers have been patient. They’ve been working on their agenda since the Woodrow Wilson administration. About 100 years. I think the message is worth the patient effort… don’t you?)

My 2 cents.

This is why I love me daily paul

You bring some great insight..

I do believe educating those around us is the only way we are going to win this (long run)

I have come to the conclusion that my only purpose as of this year is to educate anybody who comes with 10 feet of my world. lol Everywhere I go, I will pass a flyer on. Sometimes, when the time is appropriate (sor'tve) I will start a conversation. Just the other day I was at a party, a girl (19 ys) was embarassed because she did not understand anything about our gov't or what was on the flyer. So I had a chance to sit down and explain to her what a Welfare state is. Social security, the war in Iraq. I guess she has been trying to take history classes, yet that have failed to explain anything to her. We sat and talked for 15 minutes, she said she had learnt more then her entire education in school. The look on her face was priceless. As I explained to her about inflation, the banks, currency, oil abroad...Needless to say she took the DVD, and I believe this will be the start of new free thinking individual...

Going Negative

Bob Clay Going negative does not make sense with so many other candidates in the race. Attacking one just turns the voter to another RINO.

Instead Paul should be more positive in the way he presents our issues and tie it the individual voter's concerns. Instead of saying we need to avoid a financial collapse, say my program will allow our economy to expand and especially raise real wages for the middle class that have not gone up for 30 years.

Reagon won because he portrayed an optomistic view of America's future.

Number of People

Is the number of people who voted for Ron Paul at each state increasing?

Real Numbers

State Votes Donations * percent guess of votes? (Don/Per)
Iowa 11,817 683 5.8
NH 18,303 703 3.8
MI 54,434 2139 3.9
SC 882 3-5% 17640-29400
NV 1054 3-5% 21080-35133

South Carolina primary in 2000 almost 600K voted in the Rep race
I can't find stats on NV looks like they didn't have a 2000 pres primary

not a failure of the campaign !

I see this as simple as it is a failure of the American Public ! We are in the dire situation we are in because the masses let it happen and now that it needs fixing it is clear that the general public can't see beyond their TV. It like people complaining about the paparazzi yet why do they have jobs ? People buy the rags period. Same thing with MSM it thrives because people support it. I have been working to convince people on a daily basis to vote for Ron Paul. Some are but those who won't cannot tell me why or why they support their candidate. It just blows my mind how someone can have convicted opinion on something then they can't give you one fact to support it

Check out the CNN exit poll data

I just spent half an hour combing through the CNN exit poll data, found here:

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTI...

Only 48% of the people who thought that RP would be the best president voted for him! Some of the numbers made sense, but check this out: McCain won handily amongst voters who are AGAINST THE WAR IN IRAQ!?!

One reason why I like RP is that he is coherent and talks in full sentences, instead of just sound bites (clearly, I also like his positions, but I'm talking about style here). He cares about explaining the issues and giving thoughtful responses to questions.

HOWEVER, it looks like the average Joe needs some really good sound bites, repeated over and over again, to get the idea that RP is the only anti-war candidate. There were few other issues, too, where the people did not vote based on the actual positions of the candidates. To a certain extent, it depends on which issue each voter finds most important, but for the stats based on what each one felt was most important, many of the numbers just made no sense.

Our work is cut out for us grassroots, but for campaign HQ as well!

Fox News

Front page of the fox news is very interesting. There is no picture of Ron Paul.

If they updated the page and you do not see the picture I can upload it somewhere so you will see it yourself.

chinaguy Take heart,

chinaguy

Take heart, brothers and sisters. His showing in Michigan was as much as could be expected. When was the last time a Libertarian polled even at 1% in a national poll? But it is time to take off the gloves. As it becomes evident, despite manipulation of the gold, currency, and equities markets, that the major financial institutions in this country are insolvent, people will come around. What RP has to do, (and it's not an easy task), is to point out to ordinary people that the price of their homes is falling off a cliff for a reason. The Fed, to try and hide its stupidity, lowered rates to a ridiculous level much below the inflation rate. To top it off, the Wall St. bankster thugs packaged highly risky, and low grade mortgages, and sold them to others. Since lenders didn't have to worry about owning the mortgages, they sold one to anyone with a pulse. Naturally, housing prices went through the roof. Now they're crashing, taking the economy with them. What RP has to get accross, in no uncertain terms, is that THE FED AND THE WALL ST. CRIMINALS DID THIS TO YOU. Once that point has been made, it would be time to run TV ads listing the yearly Wall St. campaign contributions going to McCain, Clinton, Thompson and Obama, with the all-too-obvious implication that they are all working for the same people. There's not a nickel's worth of difference between the parties when it comes to that. Trust me, the real bite of the depression, (and RP should use that very word), has yet to be felt, but when it does, his message will ring true. Have faith and be patient, and hope the campaign goes this route. Otherwise, RP can be made to look like a principled wimp, along the lines of John Anderson. If we can't break through in the primary, we will do so in the general election.

Ron Paul the Second Biggest Winner in Michigan?

knock off the doom and gloom...from gambling 911:

Ron Paul the Second Biggest Winner in Michigan?

Mitt Romney won the Michigan primary handily. So who were the other winners in Michigan? Can you say Ron Paul?

His 6% was in many ways bigger than the 10% he received in Iowa. It's not just the percentage, but the vote count - well over 50,000 came out to support Ron Paul. Michigan is the 8th most populated state in the US.

But the real stunner was how Paul managed to receive double the number of votes Giuliani got.

Camp Giuliani will say they didn't campaign in Michigan. Ron Paul did little campaigning there either.

Worse still, Paul stomped over Fred Thompson, who Fox News claimed won last week's South Carolina Republican debate...

http://www.gambling911.co...

a shot in hell of winning

Oh geez. Anyone who thought RP had a shot in hell of winning the republican nomination this year was crazy. The reason I have invested so much time and effort is the fact that Ron is right about what he is predicting i.e. recession, war, draft ect. Once these conditions exist, his candidacy as an independent will be viable. His name recognition will be where it needs to be from his run for the nomination. Don't you think he is saving the money we are sending him for a reason? Republicans can't win this year anyway. Accepting their nomination would be like tying yourself to a sinking ship. Paul has a national platform, plenty of money, and many impassioned supporters for his run in November. Imagine if he had to try to get this kind of support as an independent. It never could have happened. I am not surprised by the Michigan results. If Paul had won, I'd be worried that what I am fighting against wasn't even real. The more I see the media talk about Bloomberg and ignore Paul, the more I realize this nation's political process is about to see some unprecedented changes.
I went to the bar last night and converted at least 2 Obama people to Paul. Signs and internet posts are great for morale and communication but RP deserves and requires explaining. We have to go out and passionately talk to people about Paul. They will listen to you. They will not listen to a sign. It's a good day, if you see it that way.

I agree

with you on many things. I like the signs, they're cute, but I can't imagine driving under and overpass seeing a Ron Paul for President banner and thinking to myself 'Ron Paul, who is that guy? Let me look into him." I mean fine, if they're constantly have RP thrown in their face after a while they might be like, "Alright let me see who the heck this guy is." Point is, I agree that conversation is MUCH more effective. Also, I like your idea on the third party candidacy. I hope you're right. Do you know this for a fact or is this just speculation? It makes perfect sense! Great post Ninja, you give me further hope. I will always keep hope alive and fight the good fight, but knowing that not getting the Republican nomination isn't the end is a really good feeling.

Agree!

I, personally, am so thrilled with Dr. Paul's STRONG 4th place finish in the Michigan Primary. This is a real victory, where he has garnered more votes than the former "top-tier" candidates, Rudy & Fred combined. I agree wholeheartedly that we are getting out the message, and we shouldn't be disappointed with the Republican results. The message is a WINNER! MSNBC said this morning that they did an exit poll with the question about the American people's support for George Bush's policies and more than 48% in Michigan and 50% in New Hampshire said a resounding "NO". These are all upcoming Ron Paul voters!!!!!!!!! Let's keep the momentum going.

Don't Give Up While There Is Still A Means To Fight

Vote RON PAUL 2008
____________
Yeah, I also have concerns -- concerns that the election will be stolen from us RON PAUL supporters/voters.

The only way that can happen is if we let it happen. Gotta stay on the look out for fraud and other wrongdoings -- we have to. We also got to hang tight (or we will surely hang separately) and we certainly cannot let the damn MSM divide us because of the psyops lies (the hidden truths) they bombard us with.

They are bought and paid for already and working against the good that could possibly be // why they choose to do that? Hell if I can understand it, but it doesn't matter as long as I understand they are doing it.

We can't fall apart and we can't give up. Not if we want our country back.

As to Bloomberg (New York) that just goes to show me that certain NY thugs were promised something long ago (9/11) and it is still trying to show its ugly head. How else can GIULIANI be understood to be sported as a favorite pick of the MSM? There is no making sense of it otherwise. And since Julie Annie isn't doing as good as they would have hoped -- they feel they can substitute with another good old boy. Just goes to show how wrong they are. It would be funny as hell if it wasn't so serious.

A shot in hell?

Of course, this is YOUR opinion and speculation.

You remember what they say about ASSumptions, right?

Ron Paul 2008!

Michigan Post Morten

Don't read too much into this Michigan loss. It was pretty obvious from the start that the national campaign wasn't going to make a play for Michigan (don't ask me why). Mid-stream we changed state campaign directors, and the young PR professional they hired for the job went missing (as they say in the British version of our native tongue). There was a valiant grass roots effort, but the work on the ground was never supported by the national campaign. We saw NO TV advertising, and only got a radio ad that criticized NAFTA. To top it all off, Dr. Paul never even visited the state. All that you can take from this is that exposure matters.

Ron Paul visted on a few occassions...

they were just earlier in the campaign season. You want to know why the national campaign didn't spend huge money here, I'll give you some reasons:

1) Mitt Romney's daddy was Governor here, he was born here.
2) John McCain won MI in 2000 primaries over Bush, and he is running in this election.
3) MI has 1/2 of the usual number of GOP delegates to the convention, thanks to our lovely Dem. Gov. Granholm (Canadian BTW).

Those 3 factors are reason enough for the campaign to have not dropped a bundle of $, time or energy here. They were smart to use this time to get a leg up on NV.

Don't get me wrong at first I was upset at the (percieved) lack of interest in MI on the campaigns part, put once you look at the facts and how this race is playing out (marathon not sprint) I firmly believe the campaign made the right choices in MI.

Never visited the state??

You need to get your facts straight before you start making your comments!

Ron Paul was on several talk events in Detroit and one of our biggest early Rallies were at the University of Michigan.

BTW...Michigan was NOT a loss! Go spread your bullshit somewhere else.

Michigan Results

so, I got on Fox news first thing this morning and they showed Ron Paul in 4th place with 6.2 percent.. I got on just a little while ago and now they have Him in 5th place with 2 %??? Whats going on?

Delegates

2 means, that he has 2 delegates. He is on 4th place in Michigan with 6%.

Fred Thompson on CNN this morning?

It hasn't aired yet...but Fred Thompson is on CNN....Why do they always skip over Ron Paul?

** Confirmed ** "He finished

** Confirmed **
"He finished 4th in Michigan, coming up next Fred Thompson"

SERIOUSLY WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Something Else I've Noticed

Vote RON PAUL 2008
____________
This morning they have been busy showing their 'pie charts' of percentages received in Michigan -- on the republican side they show ROMNEY, MCCAIN, HUCKABEE, OTHERS.

When it was GIULIANI in fourth place they sure in the hell showed his name. Since our man RON PAUL came in 4th in Michigan -- He is shown as an other.

Just an observation I wanted to share with you guys.

And Here It Has Happened Again -- FLAGGED

Vote RON PAUL 2008
_____________
My above post was flagged. What the hell is going on here? If you (whoever you are) find offense in me relaying my observations, true as they are -- then you forum friend are a big (fill in the blank here).

As to supporting RON PAUL ourselves -- How in the hell else do you think we have managed to get him to where he is. We're playing a game here (the election process) that is being hindered by the MSM // you can ignore that all you want but it is either going to be a lead weight around our neck or the same will help send us over the line. Which one do you think it just might be? Especially since they have 24 hours news coverage and can tilt the wheel in any direction they choose.

Of course we must continue to support our man // the MSM sure in the hell isn't. But being awake to one's surroundings may keep you in the game. Understand that. Know your enemy, it's important.

The Media - stop wasting your energy

We have established the fact that Ron Paul does not get Fair and Balanced Coverage. Let's focus our energy on promoting him ourselves. I don't mean any disrespect, but to people who don't understand the facts about how Ron Paul is being treated in the media...we sound like whiners.

Getting signs out is great for name recognition, but we need to take the time to talk to people in launguage they can understand why Ron Paul is good for the country and for them individually. A great way is to first ask them who they plan to vote for and why...then positivily give Ron Paul's stance on the same issue and why his stance is good for them.

Mom / Wife / Teacher / Christian for Ron Paul

You are right...I just

You are right...I just didn't have enough coffee yet this morning when I heard CNN spouting on... I did get an encouraging email from my mother, which I will quote:

"I will probably be able to view your films that you sent via email after work today. I voted for Ron Paul yesterday but I didn't catch how he did yesterday. There have been a lot of signs for him, however, around this area."

Keep in mind my whole family are strong DEMs...but supported Reagan in the 80's. Later I also learned my Grandmother and Dad as well in Michigan...

So yah, word of mouth is always the best policy. The movies I sent her are stuff on Youtube....especially the one about the native Iraqies testifying.

Native Iraqi's testifying..?

Do you have a link to that to send me?

Seen from outside

The results from Michigan (6%) certify the failure of the candidacy.

Ron Paul won 25 of 87 straw polls across the US and has broken two fundraising records. Mike Huckabee, who won two straw polls, is and has been out of money all the way. Yet Huckabee has been able to amplify his message, selling out his theocratic, holier-than-thou bible (Jefferson called 'em "Platonists"). Paul has not been able to sell the US Constitution. It is not for lack of eloquency, but there are a number of weaknesses that should be addressed later on.

It is clear by now that Huckabee and Thompson are going to endorse McCain, outnumbering Romney's delegates at the Convention, unless Giuliani's men are enough to endorse Romney and reverse the outcome. A win/win situation for the Welfare-Warfare State, there's no way to affect it. Same thing for the Democrat side of the aisle.

It is still worth supporting Ron Paul as a freedom cause, the boost has been huge and I will keep putting my time and money behind the Ron Paul movement, but I cannot longer pretend all is going well for the 2008 Election, it is not.

I agree except...

....I wouldn't call it the failure of the candidacy, I would call it the failure of the national campaign. If we want to turn this around, we must act quickly and fund our own awesome TV ads and start running them right away. Can anybody help with this?

Yes, he needs to go negative on McCain's record as Senator

RP has until Saturday to listen to my advice:

John McCain needs to be the focus as RP highlights 4 lawmaking trends that Nevadans would agree are horrifying:

1) Banking regulation and International Jurisdiction (Empire law): we now have to report bank accounts in foreign countries to the IRA. Since when does the US government own us in terms of what we do outside the country? Would they still be able to regulate us if we moved to Mars?

2) Internet regulation: Anonymity of social interaction severely threatened as John McCain is most sympathetic to the idea that all men are vicious serial killers before proving otherwise. Online daters must now submit to federally mandated background checks (current law only affects meeting foreigners but the law will be expanded in the next 4 years).

3) Internet regulation: COPA is one judge away from being enforced. This would wipe out adult pornography from much of the Internet as well as websites that discuss explicit themes. Nobody is going to use a credit card to view free sample videos before making a decision to subscribe to a website. That gives away too much information to unknown people.

RP needs to publicly challenge Thompson and Huckabee on whether they plan to endorse McCain. Then he needs to ask the public not to provide delegates to those who would just turn around and give them to McCain.

Thompson voters would cringe if they suspected that Fred might sell them out to that RINO McCain. We could use Thompson's voters now.

RP should also ask Rudy's voters to join him now, saying that Rudy is a fringe candidate who cannot win the nomination so why give delegates to someone who is just going to give them to someone else whom you are not voting for.

What happened with "The Notice'?

Would like to hear something from the guy who printed up the piece that we named "The Notice." It was to be posted on doors in Michigan and was a "wake-up" call to voters.

Please let us know how many were posted and if it produced good results.

Disappointed in My Fellow Michiganians

There are a lot of positive ways to view coming in ahead of Giuliani and Thompson in Michigan, but it saddens me that so many of my fellow residents chose what they think is the safe and comfortable route in voting for three Business as Usual candidates, any one of whom will be annihilated by an even worse Business as Usual candidate from a socialist platform, either Obama or Clinton. Where does one invest his/her money now? When the inevitable collapse of our economy comes (none of the current delagate leaders will do anything meaningful to avert it), at which time every investment, safe or speculative, takes a catastrophic hit and the remaining money is worth pennies on the dollar because of the drunken printing spree of our Federal Reserve, what will we do then? Then it will be too late. It appears that we have not learned from history and are doomed to repeat it.

Anybody know how many

Anybody know how many delegets RP has? I thought he had 2 but the news keeps saying 0.
