I liked the post which likened us to them, however, what we immediatly think of is death and terrorism.

I think an apology is in order - very minimum.

Any other things he's said to go as far as demand he be fired?

sorta rubbed my eyes and looked at their facial expressions... poor little things.... lights on but nobody's home.... they dress them nicely though, so somebody must care.

Personally let's not overreact here ,It's a comment for a morning show by a bobble head. Big deal, so what, He was NOT comparing any of the candidates to Al-Queda, or Shiite or anything else, IT was a dum comment, I like to call it "political entertainment whackery"...

It mean nothing and really it's not even offensive, it's just silly.. I think what he meant by Al-Queda of the Republican Party is the "grassroots" Guerilla warfare mentatlity of do it yourself. Seriously everyone lets not go overboard here..

I agree with the comment below that suggests that maybe Shuster meant to say that RP was striking terror in the hearts of the Republican Establishment.

I cannot comment further because Joe Scarborough was shocked and said "Would you like to apologize to Dr. Paul now or later".

He knew he was going to get a deluge of email. So let's keep that email clean and maybe praise Joe for being shocked and asking Shuster on-air for an apology right away.

By getting riled up about the Al Qaeda remark, RP supporters are looking politically correct like the other candidates' supporters.

Libertarians give a lot of leeway in free speech. Joe's response was appropriate and Shuster seemed playful. Until I see the response that was editted out by the video maker, I cannot comment further.

But, if you keep your emails clean and mature, Joe will probably make a funny remark tomorrow about "You sure got a ton of emails on that one from RP supporters"! That kind of advertising is money in the bank because it tells the audience that RP supporters have not gone away.

Polls show no decline in RP support since the NH and MI defeats.

What if he was saying that Ron Paul is striking terror in the Republican party?...and the whole establishment, for that matter. Maybe that is a good sign.

I can't believe what I saw and heard on that video from Shuster!!! Please contact MSNBC and express your complete outrage and demand an apology and retraction without further ado.

But calling Ron Paul the ‘Al-Qaeda’ wing… well you have now gone too far. It is slander against Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, myself, and other Ron Paul supporters. To spout such garbage over the airwaves takes away the CREDIBILITY and INTEGRITY you seem to be striving for (with no luck of EVER reaching that lofty goal).

Your statement will now cause me to do three things:

1) Sell of ALL my Microsoft stock
2) Use that money to purchase MORE GOLD

but I was just listening to NPR radio this afternoon, and Juan Williams(?), after being asked whether Ron Paul was going to "take" Nevada, completed evaded the question and twisted it into talking about Mitt Romney.
