Inspiration!! - Part 1

"I'm not interested in what a man can't do. I want to know what he can do." -- wd

No doubt about it, we who wish to see Ron Paul in the Oval Office are facing some pretty stiff odds. While people might like the "idea"; the "concept" of Liberty, to many folks, it seems to be an unreachable fairy tale; an impossible dream; a goal so unlikely that it can't ever actually come to pass; and so, their one precious vote goes to More Of The Same Who Will "At Least Have A Chance" To Get Elected. The People feel defeated because, deep in their hearts, they don't believe they can make a real impact; we RP supporters feel defeated because of media blackouts and opposition, and because it's hard to get (conditioned) people to hear, understand, and act on the message of Liberty.

Enter Walt Disney. (stay with me here)

My handle reflects that I am a "fan of Walt". Sure, I love Disneyland and all the fun avenues of Disneyana, but mostly, I admire the man himself. Walt gave the world a legacy that has continued on well beyond his passing, and did so from extremely meager and challenging beginnings.

He was defeated time and again. He was often told, "You can't do that" or "Nobody will want that" or other discouraging prophecies. He was siderailed, betrayed, and had numerous prospects to give up on his quest in exchange for something easier.

Doesn't look like he let that stop him.

In the fascinating biography, "How To Be Like Walt", the authors divulge Walt's secrets to success. I exhort you to buy and read this book, even if you're not a big Disney fan or don't care for biographies. There is much to be learned. Understand: the inspiration springing from this tome is not mere pom-pom waving. There is great strategy to be gained, as well as great embolding and encouragement, from Uncle Walt. He epitomized the art of doing the impossible...and having fun doing it.

The more I find out about Ron Paul, the more I see qualities he shares with Walt Disney. Below is an outline of lessons for Walt-like success, based on the book, "How To Be Like Walt". I know; this post already seems a bit long, but you can print this out and read it in bits. And to make it easier, I'll break this up into three posts, with different groups of lessons in each post. I'm just giving you some bullet points here. As RP supporters know, it usually takes time to understand grand concepts, and any list, like the one included here, only serves to whet the appetite. To get the meaty detail (and therefore, more understanding than the "30-second soundbite" will provide), read the book -- it is well worth it. Hopefully, there will soon be a run of demand for this book by RP supporters (and no, I don't have any financial interest in the book!).

NOTE: Nothing contained herein is to in any way imply that the authors of "How To Be Like Walt" endorse Ron Paul. I present this information purely as an introduction to encourage you to purchase this astounding book, and as a means to give RP supporters a glimpse of how we can empower ourselves to charge on with greater strides into the Ron Paul Revolution!

Now let us put on our RP T-shirts, dust off our old Mouse Ears, and find out: What Would Walt Do?

...and...
"Walt Disney was more important than all the politicians we've ever had. They pretended optimism. He was optimism. He has done more to change the world for the good than almost any politician who ever lived."
