NV, SC Primary Results - Main Thread

At least according to the SC state constitution which says the votes must be not be counted in secret but since the system provided no real time method of observing the vote count it is in violation.

The SC primary is invalid and the delegates should be barred from the convention unless a paper ballot vote is done.

RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE

SECTION 1. Elections to be by secret ballot; protection of right of suffrage.

All elections by the people shall be by secret ballot, but the ballots shall not be counted in secret. The right of suffrage, as regulated in this Constitution, shall be protected by laws regulating elections and prohibiting, under adequate penalties, all undue influence from power, bribery, tumult, or improper conduct.

Early on in the Nevada primary when Mccain was ahead of Ron Paul, CNN had the totals of two candidates for each party at the bottom of the screen. At that time it was Romney and Mccain, every few minutes they would rotate that with Huckabee and Thompson and their percentages even though they were fouth and fifth completely ignoring Ron Paul at third. Later once Ron Paul moved to second, they had a blurb in the same place saying Huckabee was in second in Nevada.
I am out of the country so I don't know if I get exactly the same CNN programming as in the states but what is happening there is really frightening.

Did anyone notice, according to CNN exit polls 70% of SC voters are satisfied with Bush's policy. Unreal. How do we fight that???

I'm not at all surprised that the MSM ignores or marginalises Paul. I think it is important to realise that a consolidation of the MSM has been happening over the last 50 years so that the end result is that most major news stations/magazines/other publications are owned by a grand total of 6 monstrous corporations. Look into stopbigmedia.com for a list. This is no accident or coincidence, and it could not happen without the current monetary system, which Paul opposes. Corporate ownership may be a secret but the role of the big banks, and their monopoly over the issuance of credit which gives them a tremedous advantage in the marketplace (and to buy controlling shares in these corporations) is no longer a secret. I suggest to anyone still in the dark over this process to search youtube for "Edward Griffin" or google that name and read a summary of "The Creature from Jekyll Isand" - a book RP has given a positive review for. Thomas Jefferson was right in his warning about bank issued credit and the monopoly of banks and corporation control that would result - a reality we are living in today. RP stands opposed to this, which is why the controlling interests (not neccessarily individual journalists) of msm are opposed to him overtly (fox) or covertly (others) .What he stands for threatens the msm owner's control over the minds of Americans.

Due to your uninformed and borderline slanderous (retracted article) treatment of Ron Paul I will never again purchasing your newspaper or magazines. Furthermore I will inform anyone in my circle of friends, family, and coworkers of your supposed elite newspaper’s ineptitudes. I’m sure they are already aware of the paper’s failure in the lead up to the Iraq war, and lack of ability to hire reporters who don’t make up entire articles; but I will add to their doubts. For example, today in the Nevada caucus Ron Paul finished 2nd yet he is still not on your general election results page. He has more delegates and a higher percentage of the popular vote than both Giuliani and Thompson. Even a person who’s not supporting Ron Paul can see this is either an unfair attempt to marginalize him, or just plain incompetence. Either is a valid reason for a rational person to cut ties with your paper.

Second place is pretty damn good for the amount of media coverage Paul has recieved. And he hasn't spent much time campaigning on the ground either. Yet he beat all the front runners besides Mittens - Must be embarassing for the MSM.

According to the b.s. exit polls, people like McCain because they sympathize with his story about being tortured, which he's as happy to tell anybody that will listen as Giuliani is 9/11, and they view him as a war hero. He is one of the only candidates who people vote for the actual person rather than the issues. Nevermind that he reads from a telepromter and has a winter's supply of Vicodin stored in his cheeks.
In an unrrelated note, I would make out with his daughter.

RSK Retrieving signatures from all exiting voters (preferably only Dr. Paul voters for simplicity sake). Once notarized then recorded with date and time stamp via that precincts recorders office.If not rebutted within 30 days, a powerful legal/lawful document which will stand up to the scrutiny of any court (federal or otherwise) in the land. CURRENTLY, this is the only means we have to prove election fraud if or should I say when it occurs. Preventing it at this point is not feasible with electronic voting machines still in use in almost every precinct throughout the nation.

The Old Media has done a great service to the Ron Paul Republicans. By blacking out Dr. Pauls 2nd place victory and every other major event and working hard to discredit him and his supporters, the media has further discredited itself once again while helping the Paul campaign to gain strong steam.

By doing evil they have turned more Americans towards the message of Freedom, Sound Money, and International Peace.

Ron Paul Republicans are outraged and don't yet realize the positive results the old media stunt has had on the general population and the future of America.

You can't help but wonder how much of a swing more media coverage would make. MSM has done a great diservice to the people of this country. Every single major news station, covered all of the candidates today, with the exception of one, Ron Paul!

I watched as these other candidates seemed to be taking a page from Ron Paul, speaking of smaller government and out of control spending. That's all fine and well, IF THEY ACTUALLY MEANT IT! We all have seen their true stances, and if elected, would not change squat.

For an election that seems to be focused on change, as made apparent by the people of america, why do the voters seem to be sticking with the status quo? It seems that the majority of people have been so used to being told what to do, and when to do it, that a REAL change would mess up their comfort zone, and they need government to protect themselves from themselves.

In closing, as I stated in my first paragraph, maybe this all stems from the fact that Ron Pauls message hasn't reached enough people. NV gave me alot of hope, however it's apparent that anything but first place, will be ignored by the MSM.

I get on Yahoo and the main article about the election results was by Associated Press and they didn't list Dr. Paul at all! Neither did the New York Times!

That is outrageous and I'm surprised there aren't more comments about it here. WE may know the MSM are dinosaurs, but a lot of voters won't even hear how well Ron Paul did becuse it wasn't reported.

If people never hear about RP, then how can they know enough to vote for him? We need to redouble our efforts, if the media won't do their job.

There is no doubt that Mitt Romney's Nevada victory was huge. But Dr. Paul's #2 spot in the Republican caucus earned him some mighty bragging rights.

Nevadans who voted for Paul: 6087.
Nevadans who voted for Clinton: 5355.
Nevadans whot voted for Obama and Edwards COMBINED: 5196.

These are not the numbers of a "fringe candidate" who stands no chance. In the swing state of Nevada, these are the numbers of a true patriot with a consistent message that earns him broad appeal.

The media has reported these numbers but won't be talking about them. It's up to us to get the message out.
