Ron Paul Beats Giuliani AGAIN in South Carolina

SC Vote tally with 95% reporting:

Paul - 15,534 - 4%
Giuliani - 8,935 - 2%

Flashback: Here is the video of the last time Ron Paul beat Giuliani in South Carolina:

Listen all the way to the end - the groans from the crowd as the old media has to change the subject from the unscripted interesting and meaningful topic that Dr. Paul introduced to something more suitably divisive and mind numbing for the zombies in TV land: "Royce from Philadelphia asks if South Carolina should be free to fly the confederate flag..." Note to readers: The old media is trying to keep you stupid. Don't let them.

Please see the video below -- one of my very favorites -- for some background on what Dr. Paul is speaking about regarding blowback, specifically in Iran:

Rudy Giuliani: "I'm really not" a Republican

Get this out to the Floridians. For those who haven't seen it.

Florida needs Blowback message Now

How can this video get to the eyeballs of McCain and Guiliani and Romney supporters in Flordia before the primary?

Even if Congressman Paul doesnt get the nomination

His campaign has ensured that the Neo Con hero, war mongering facist Rudy Giuliani will not. God Bless Dr. Paul!

The Second Video is Amazing

Thanks for posting it! The explanation that "they attacked us because we are free" has never resonated with me though, it's hardly been just Rudy alone since 911 offering that as the singular explanation. Blowback makes so much more sense.

2nd video no longer available!

saw the post last night but it was late--thought I'd watch in the morning....... rats.

Amazing second

Amazing second video!

The audience was groaning

The audience was groaning because of the outdated issue regarding the confederate flag flying on S.C. State building. It was pretty obvious, since they didn't groan when the commentator (Wendall) clearly said he would change the subject. Though i like the Blowback sequence which was taken from Michael Moores documentary "Bowling for Columbine", atleast he got something right.

great history lesson

wow that 2nd clip about the shaw and Iranian's weird power struggle was great to watch. from what rp is saying our cia must have been messing around over there and got the shaw into power, and put back again after the coup. yeah, if i were iranian and some other country did that to me i'd be pissed too. messing with the internal affairs of our own country, get the hell out and don't come back. sounds like common sense to me.

And why was the CIA messing around in Iran in 1953

The idea of overthrowing Mosaddeq was conceived by the British who asked U.S. President Harry S. Truman for assistance but he refused.[4] The British raised the idea again to Dwight D. Eisenhower who became president in 1953. The new administration agreed to participate in overthrowing the elected government of Iran.[5]

Mosaddeq decided that Iran ought to begin profiting from its own vast oil reserves and took steps to nationalize the oil industry which had previously been controlled by the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (later changed to the British Petroleum Company). Britain pointed out that Iran was violating the company's legal rights and spearheaded a worldwide boycott of Iran's oil that submerged the regime into financial crisis.[6] The monarchy supported by the U.S. and Britain invited western oil companies back into Iran.[6] "The crushing of Iran's first democratic government ushered in more than two decades of dictatorship under the Shah, who relied heavily on US aid and arms

Empire: same pattern, over and over again

Ngo Dinh Diem was chosen by the U.S. to lead South Vietnam (1955). By 1961, Lyndon Johnson declares Diem the "Winston Churchill of Asia". J.F. Kennedy escalates the war. Two years later, U.S. officials propose a regime change, the CIA gets in contact with generals planning a coup d'etat. 1963, Diem is overthrown and executed, U.S. ambassador congratulates the coup leaders, then informs of "a shorter war".

The model for occupating Iraq is obviously not Vietnam, according to Christopher Preble (Cato's Director of Foreign Policy Studies) the model is Korea.

Meanwhile, the Feds inject 137.25 billion dollars in one month (last year) and it's not enough, gold soars and the dollar collapses, mortgages and construction go in crisis, G.W. Bush laids out his vision for "an economic stimulus" as Borrow&Spend keeps up, and everybody loves to ignore David M. Walker (Comptroller General of the United States).

"This is usually how empires end, by spending too much money to maintain their empires. We are in 130 countries. We have 700 bases around the world. And it is going to come to an end. I want it to come to an end more gracefully and peacefully, follow the Constitution and follow more sensible foreign policy."
(Ron Paul to Wolf Blitzer, December 3, 2007)

Ironically, Giuliani's

Ironically, Giuliani's staying in cements Ron Paul's ability to stay in the debates. If, out of 6 candidates, Ron Paul is seen as the 5th, and Giuliani drops out, the MSM can hold a debate and invite only what they see as the "top 4".

But they wouldn't hold a debate and not invite Giuliani, so by inviting Giuliani, they are forced to invite the candidate (Ron Paul) who has beaten him in almost everywhere.

maybe

but they would have a hard time justifying Thompson as the number four since he always finishes behind Dr. Paul

Thanks for the video clips...

...well-crafted. (I mean that in a good way.)

"Only by pride cometh contention." Proverbs 13:10

you know what really gets me?

it's that all the major news stations take guiliani as a 'real' candidate but sort of scoff at ron paul being one

http://www.ifimpresident.com/d1508_the_great_ron_paul_question/

i put that i didnt know whether ron paul was a fad at the above poll, but i think it's stupid how he's treated by the media

he's got to be sweating bullets over Florida

Florida is really do or die but Florida is 9 days away---lots of time for the pack to grind him down, especially since his campaign is running on fumes.

It's a joke

Why is Giuliani considered as a real candidate at this point? His campaign has zero energy, no grassroots support, only the leftovers from his media friends. It really is becoming a joke. The guy has generated no interest from the electorate, none. Yet, he's still portrayed as "in it".

Some of it has to be embarrassment on the part of his supporters in the media and elsewhere. The guy totally fizzled on the national stage. America didn't like him.

one ominous possibility...

is his candidacy is being kept on life support by his New World Order buddies, as they plan another "event" to make the public clamor for more wars and authoritarianism. No proof, just a bad feeling.
