Which state will be the first one to " SHOCK " the nation with RP in 1st place.... Predictions???
I'm curious to see which state is going to be the one to send shock waves through the country and the MSM....... My prediction:
California!!!!

Please do not engage in making predictions.
Unless you seriously want to limit the effect of your actions.
Just think for yourselves individually and decide how much this means to you, and imagine where you want to be when this thing is over and then....just do what you need to do.
We cannot criticize blame the whole MSM for making predictions and then do the same here! and this is why:

Alaska
Alaska
Unfortunatly
a bit of realistic honesty here. I support Ron Paul. However, I think his campaign is making SERIOUS mistakes. I do not see Dr. Paul trying to correct this problem either. As far as getting his message out he's doing a fantastic job......but are we really giving him MILLIONS of dollars just to spread this message so it can be swiped under the carpet and forgotten about? No, we're giving him this money to WIN this election. I'm so damn frustrated with his campaign. Ron Paul is a true gentleman......the problem is .......Kent Snyder also seems to be too nice too. Too nice is going to get your ass kicked in this election. Grassroots could have gotten Ron Paul the very same finished in IOWA and NH and while all the candidated spent their time there......Paul could have spent his time in WY, MI, NV.......after NH.....instead of wasting his time in SC he should have let the grassroots handle SC and he should have spent his time in NV only to get that win. He could have had FIVE offices in NV instead of just TWO. After NV he should spend all his time inbetween Louisiana and Maine. This campaign effort would have gotten him 1st or 2nd in WY, MI, NV, LA, ME.........unfortunatly the campaign is hedging their bets that the rest will run out of money......DON'T BET ON IT. If the powers that be need these candidates to stay in it longer to keep Paul down......it will be done. As far as FEB all of the rest of his money should be spent on WINNING or coming in 2nd in ALL of the SMALL states. At this point collecting miniscule delegates don't matter.......It's the exposure and his VIABILITY that matters. Once he conquers this THEN he can try to win the big ones.
Couldn't agree with you
Couldn't agree with you more, the Campaign is too Conventional in it's approach. The lack of Creativity and use of theYoung Grassroots Talent has slowed what was a Run Away Train of Momentum.
Once it was determined that Election Fraud and Media Blackout was in effect the Campaign should have pulled out all the stops, namely attacking and exposing the Electronic Voting machines with Law Suits to get them out of play and then buying Air time to Show the Incestious relationship between the Defense Contractors and the Main Stream Media.
But what do i know? I'm just an American Wage Slave.
I just got off the phone
with some lady from the Ron Paul campaign. I voiced my opinions and explained that the MLK bomb was likely to total around 2 million. She agreed that is what they were tracking as well. She said she would pass along my concerns. I doubt it will do any good, but maybe.
I'm ashamed to say it...
but it ain't gonna be Texas. I'm afraid we've just got too many people with their heads stuck in the sand. They are completely clueless about so much of what goes on in government. So many I come across say "yeah, but can he win?" They cannot think past this election. It's tough going down here, to convince people that they can make a difference in the long run if they really want to, and that they aren't wasting their 'precious' time by participating in the primary and supporting a candidate that the media tells them has no chance of winning. So many just have a hard time seeing the big picture. I'm sure that others promoting Dr. Paul have the same experiences that I do. It's a tough little row to hoe. The Freedom to Fascism video has been a great help with those that I could get to watch it. I tell many that, if nothing else, they would have the satisfaction of telling their grandchildren that once in their life they voted for an honest man. Because I guarantee they haven't done it yet, and I'm almost 100% sure that they will probably never get the chance again. In frustration, I advised several hard heads that for the sake of their descendants and mine, to please stay home on election day.
Good Luck to all the Pauladelphians out there.
If he can come second, he
If he can come second, he can come first. Case closed.

Mack,
I think we can do it we just need to organized in our precincts. I know the people you are talking about. We just need to find the people in our precinct that are willing to vote for him and get them out! Thats all we can do, we can't lead everyone to the water and shove their head in! I have determined that when my daughter grows up and asks me what I did to stop the craziness of our government, I do not want to have to say "Nothing". As a Christian I think we need to come up with good marketing to get Christian's attention. I hate to say this but because Huckelberry is a pastor that for some reason makes him the best choice in Christian's mind.
Does anyone remember the list of states that the campaign...
was planning to advertise in for Super Tuesday? I remember California, Alabama, and North Dakota. I think there was maybe 5 more on the list. Does anyone know why these states were chosen and not the others in Super Tuesday?
He Might Not win california
But I bet he gets a lot of delegates!

I'm really like our chances in Maine and I hope Ron goes there right after the MSNBC debate in Florida this Thursday.
Louisiana
I think Louisiana will go Ron Paul
Louisiana
As much as I would like to see Ron Paul Take Louisiana I do not think its going to happen. As a lifelong resident of Louisiana I know Louisiana people. Louisiana is a big Welfare state. This hurts me to say this but the majority of La people only BBQ, watch TV and wait for the next "check". Louisiana people only see whats on TV and newspapers when it come to politics. So with MSM you know they do not hear about the revolution. It will take a really big grassroots effort to inform the La people of Ron Paul. I am currently working in San Francisco untill April so unfortunatly I cannot help with that effort. I can only donate money. I am sure the meetup groups there are working their butts off and I hope they prove me wrong.
I think you underestimate them.
A lot of people in that state are furious over the federal government's interference in the efforts to cope with hurricane Katrina. Sending FEMA agents into New Orleans to steal guns from honest citizens wasn't just illegal and unconstitutional, it was a major tactical mistake.

MAINE!!! Maine!!! MAINE!!!
That is, if he actually goes there and campaigns and advertises.
Maine is an anti-government, pro-gun state. It is small enough that he can easily get his message out.
He has to not compete against everyone else in Florida, since all the candidates there will just devour him.
The Maine caucus is Feb1-3, so it is the last bang before Super Tuesday!
I may be a vegetarian, but I'll defend to the death my right to eat pork!
Alaska!
If I have anything to do about it... For my children.
steve
Steve M.?
I Agree. The Dr. has a big chance to win Alaska and if he comes here for one day (half day in Fairbanks and half in Anchorage the victory will be overwhelming).
Claudio
If Pat Buchanan can win Alaska,
as he did in 1996, well then...so can our good Doc. Ross Perot did really well here, too, and there is a real anti-establishment sentiment right now (our current governoress was elected on a platform of populism, integrity, and transparency, and despite thumbing her nose at the republican party hierarchy, she beat the incumbent guv and former 22-year US senator). So yeah, Ron Paul can and should win AK. I'll be trying to make it happen.
Pat B
Buchannan also won NH, but we see how those people have changed. I hope you are right
In a perfect world with no hacking I'd say
Alaska and/or Hawaii
Hi J.
Are you A Brazilian or Portuguese descent?

Louisiana
stands an excellent chance of delivering a first place win with 100% of the state delegates in our caucus this Tuesday. While this doesn't decide all of the national delegates (3-6 are party bosses) this will give us minimum 21 of the 47 possible and maybe even 41 of them. (87%)
Yes, we do have a preference primary on the 9th but that will be non-binding unless someone gets 50% of the vote. Not bloody likely. Even if that does happen, that candidate will only get 20 of the 47 for the first ballot.
If Nevada started the prairie fire, this might be some gasoline added to it. Then all we'll need is a steady and strong win(d) in the sunshine state.
agree with you
politepaulite
Only see Ron Paul signs in SW Louisiana. Ron Paul is speaking tomorrow in three cities, Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. THis is perfect timing since the caucus is on Tuesday 5-8pm. We have an active meet-up group here.
Maine...
They almost started a revolution there with out him.
Alaska...
Isn't Dr. Paul popular in Alaska? I heard he finished first in a major poll there. He's also campaining heavily in Montana and Louisiana, so hopefully he can pull the upset there. If he does well in Cali, that would be HUGE! I just wish people would stop being so idiotic. It's like that Ron White guy always says... you can't fix stupid.
Wisconsin
I hope he places first in a state prior to Feb 19, but I'm willing to bet he has a strong showing in Wisconsin. Lots of support in Wisconsin..
Hey, i got almost half of my
Hey, i got almost half of my dorm room floor in milwaukee voting paul lol!
Soon to be the whole damn dorm!
The only ones that i haven't converted are the ones who won't vote anyhow or just flat out do not care.
Keep track of the supporters
Take their numbers and CALL them on election day.
If they aren't voting
Try printing out some of the Common Sense flyers and give them to them. It might work on some of them.

You can't have both
And "CommonSense" is from Wisconsin!

MONTANA
MONTANA WILL FIRST
Big Sky country will deliver
Remember the 2006 election? A Libertarian pulled an amazing percentage of the vote in Montana which ended Conrad Burns chance of winning. I can't quite remember what percentage Stan Jones pulled but Ron Paul may just surprise people. There are only a few liberal pockets in Montana, but Missoula (one of them) for example could swing to Paul especially if he talks about legalizing drugs. I think if Paul can stick to his message it may help him there.
Montana is a shining example for the rest of the country. It rejected the Real ID act by writing a declaration against such a move. One should not forget back in the 90's how it ignored the Federal government in establishing a speed limit, and said there would be none. There are many other examples when you get down to the local level.
Arkansas
There was low turnout there in 2000. Only 45,000. There's about 900 meetup members. That might give him around 30% which hopefully will be enough to win. It will be really sweet if he beats Huckabee in his own state. How would he spin that one?
RP's first victory
will be in the state of... denial. ;)
No states
I don't think Paul will win even one state. However, it seems very possible he'll place well in several states thereby ensuring a place at the convention. It seems likely at least 2 "frontrunners" will drop out leaving most likely McCain, Romney, and Paul. I predict both McCain and Romney having not enough votes to secure the nomination and HOPEFULLY by then the importance of electing Paul will start to set in. The great thing about a Paul candidacy is that it's very elastic, adaptable, and passionate. Lets face it, Thompson, Guiliani, McCain, and Huckabee cannot stay in the race without money. No one is passionate about them.
Well,
look where he's heading first after South Carolina: Louisiana. Maybe the campaign knows something...
CA
There's many people in my town in CA that are voting for him, and thank god, I don't think there's any Diebold in the state anywhere wooo
the "mormon factor"
Something that could blindside your prediction is the mormon factor. I've been quite suprised about the number of "members" that appear to be so eager to uphold "brother Romney's" presidential bid, despite his views that are so contradictory to what the church teaches.
I'm a LDS churchgoer in South Jordan, UT and have never heard an official endorsement for the former Governor from anyone within the church, but based on what happened in NV there must be something I'm missing.
Romney has ALOT of fellow mormons in Cali, especially in the uber-influential Orange County, San Diego and San Francisco Bay areas. Hopefully the californians won't vote so blindly, but I wouldn't count on it.
First Mormon President?
Every LDS member should hope that the first Mormon president is a worthwhile human being, not a flip-flopping, empty-suit weasel like Romney.

California and Montana...
and any other states that have the new GOP delegate rules. Recently varying state GOP changed rules so that individual voting district, in case of California, you will get 3 delegates per district regardless of the population. So whether your district has 50,000 or 5000 voters, a majority win in each district will bag you those 3 delegates. So the primary will be like having hundreds of mini-primaries. Thus in areas like San Francisco, where its population is a liberal majority, for Ron Paul to win, out of a small GOP population will not be that difficult, as long as enough people, independents switch parties and register as Republicans. So focusing on majority Dem and independent districts will be a must.
This is a genuinely viable strategy. And no "front runners" have yet to figure this out. And some that did come late in the game, the Ron Paul Revolution has had an early start advantage. Good luck to those in newly changed GOP rules states!
PRESIDENT RON PAUL: Jan 20, 2009 - Jan 20, 2017
B E L I E V E
Calif
has always made the race interesting but now it's really going to be a nail biter and hopefully a HELL YES!!
My Prediction
My Prediction:
The state that has Secure Paper Ballots . . . Counted in the open.
For Freedom, Prosperity, and Peace
Right
ON!! LOL!
Oregon
Ron will be first in Oregon... But maybe it won't be the first one to shock with Ron Paul as first.
"I can't believe how rude those other guys were to him in the last debate.
My Mom ~ Even people who support other people are noticing it. It is Backfiring!
A Fred Thompson supporter speaking about Ron Paul, we were discussing how poorly Riudy did. I stopped trying to convert them. They like Fred because they like his TV show and probably won't vote because "Hillory will win anyway."

of course.....NJ!

As Congressman Paul pointed out
many of the people who voted for McCain in NH didn't even know he was for the war. What does that show you about the voting populace?
Why must our country have such ignorant citizens? [That is rhetorical]
