4 Hours of sign waving in 2 locations
over 200 slim jims, 14 bumper stickers and 1 yard sign distributed to car drivers
$1010 donated between the 3 members of my family.
200 bumper stickers and 200 yard signs ordered
2 people trained on how to distribute slim jims more efficiently(look in the driver's eyes, make an eye contact, then wave a lot and smile as wide as you can. If they smile back, which most of them will by that time, they will take the slim jim easy)
1 couple of undecided grand-parents in the new Mercedes SL500 finally convinced to support their son, who is a Ron Paul supporter
PS: I figured out that every car that honked is a great candidate for a bumper sticker.
Tomorrow starting taping slim jims and www.manofcommonsense.com to the doors of all my neighbours.
Beat this! :)

Anytime can be a RP moment
I was attending the funeral of a grandparent today and drove in the procession with my large chalk-painted 'RON PAUL REVOLUTION' sign on my back windshield. At the cemetery, a man I didn't know came up to me and asked if I was the man with the Ron Paul car. I smiled and my mother rolled her eyes from a distance, lol (I am 27). I said yes, and that even though this was not the exact right time to discuss it, he could read one of the slim jims from my coat pocket if he wished. He said, “wow, I didn’t expect you to have information on him, what is it with this guy, he must really be the head of a revolution.” It was great. All my siblings see the light of Ron Paul and love what had just happened. My mother the medical professional really wants universal health care however and isn’t on board yet. One person at a time...

I drove 715 miles
with RP flags a waving..OK, where's my cookie?
blog trawling
Extolling the virtues of Ron Paul and defending smears from a few thousand miles away from where you are otherwise I'd be out waving signs and door knocking.
Delegates, delegates, delegates
I obtained 75 registered republican signatures both for myself to become a delegate for PA's 5th Congressional District and for our man Dr. Paul to get on the ballot here in Pennsylvania.
Had a shitty day.
Taped the common sense flyers in ever shitter in my dorm, did the math, and over 600 people should see them next time they take a shit. Best part, they have nothing better to do anyway. Tomorrow, we are hitting up the urinals, and the other dorms. If there is any college kids, make sure u place them in the shitters, they have to read them then.
What did you do today?
THAT is sinister and hilarious. Wish I thought of it.
4 hours of face-to-face time
with shoppers in the bitter cold. Converted two people.
Yesterday I stood alone on a corner during rush-hour holding a Ron Paul sign.
Sunday, organized ten people to sign wave in a town that never heard of Ron Paul.

What did you do today?
A meet up member asked me if I was "fired up."
Yesterday, while walking a new precinct after work, I asked a registered Republican if she had heard of Ron Paul. "Yes of course," was her answer. "I hear he's gaining momentum." Curious, I asked her where she had heard that. "Fox News," she replied. Wow. Fox news?
This morning, I was talking to a friend of mine that's a Hillary supporter. We were talking politics. "I like what Ron Paul says. He's got a good message," said my friend. After our conversation he donated 10$ to the Ron Paul campaign. His first ever political donation.
Also this morning, I was talking to my sister-in-law who is a Ron Paul supporter. She FAILED to register Republican and gave me all kinds of excuses - none of which were valid imho - as to why she FAILED to mail in her voter registration. I guilted her into donating 21.50$. (20$ penalty donation and 25C for every lame excuse she gave me.) Her first ever political donation.
Further, a cousin of mine set aside 700$ to donate to charity. I suggested he donate to www.RonPaul2008.com/donat..., but he was thinkin more along the lines of a traditional charity like the Boys and Girls Club, United Way, etc. I reminded him that the point of charity was to help people, and what better way to help people other than stopping a war that's killed over 80,000 Iraqis, killed over 4,000 Americans, injured over 27,000 Americans, cost each American family over 7,000$/yr and so forth and so forth. What about donating to a cause that will prevent us from passing on our debts to the next generation? In the end, he donated ALL 700$ of his charity money to Ron Paul's national campaign. His first ever political donation.
I was smiling from ear-to-ear after that. I had to tell another soul. I told the story to another friend, a Ron Paul supporter who hadn't donated. After hearing the story, he donated 100$ to the campaign! His first ever political donation.
Fired up? Fox news may have said that Ron Paul is gaining momentum. Fired up? A Clinton supporter gave 10$ to the Ron Paul campaign! Fired up? 4 people made their very first donations to a political campaign - the Ron Paul campaign. I'm FIRED up like a chipotle jabanero pepper. I am Ron Paul.

I watched the Patriots beat the Chargers, went to the office to finish some work, came back home to watch the Giants beat Bart Fart and the Packers. Now I'm sitting here bummed because I can't donate, I'm maxed out!
Wow, you're a champ.

today I've...
...clicked my mouse a few times. But, it's just after midnight. :-P
Yesterday I went canvassing for about 4 hours. Met tons of undecideds, passed out probably 300 pieces of lit, met 1 supporter and informed him about the caucus (which in his state precedes the primary and has more leverage per person than the primary, since far fewer know about it but it will decide almost the same number of delegates), talked with 1 Romney supporter (the only sign I saw other than 1 RP sign) and made a positive enough impression that he gladly took my RP lit ("yes, I'd like to read that") and thanked me for my hard work canvassing, supervised 2 others also canvassing in the same area, and drove them and myself 2 hours round trip to Washington to get all that done. Numerous phone calls and emails and posts here on DP. Just another day in the life....
