For the people that keep saying stop with the conspiracy stuff, how does this grab you.
Don't tell me a doctor by profession and international business owner to keep my mouth shut unless you have hard facts to prove me wrong.
In Nashua NH ward 5 there is already huge decreases in the vote count for Clinton and edwards and guess what? actual vote counts increase for Obama after the hand count in 1 ward of 1 county.
Diebold count Hand Count Total votes
Clinton 1030 959 - 71
Edwards 405 377 - 28
Obama 673 678 + 5
Now for those of you that think this may not be a big deal let me put it in perspective for you nay sayers.
This in itself should be enough to toss out EVERY DAMN ELECTRONIC MACHINE ON THE PLANET PERIOD.
the percentage of votes lost makes a huge difference in the actual percentage they receive. For instance Clinton beat obama by only 3% over all right? In just this one county clinton lost yes LOST 7.4% of the total percentage she has received in just this 1 WARD IN 1 COUNTY while obama gained .73 % now keep in mind that edwards also lost 7.42% of what he had. THAT IS MORE THAN A 15% SWING in just one ward people on machines that are supposed to be error proof which we all know is a load of crap and has been proven time and time again.
These machines and all the so called votes are counted in secret with no paper trail for humans to see WHY IS THAT?

This proves nothing. Once all the data is established then I will comment but not until then.

Paper ballot fraud is simple in one phrase:

It's really simple. In the vast majority of the cardboard boxes that held the paper ballots in the NH primary, the boxes had slits through which the boxes were easily stuffed with false paper ballots with just the right numbers in order to bring up the ballot numbers in the boxes to approximate the election "results". Easy.

That means that one cannot have ANY confidence in neither the paper ballot system, nor the privately-managed/owned computer-based system.

The entire election is a train wreck. Vote count challenges really ought to be mounted in every single state in the Super Tuesday election day. The revelations of the total train-wreck messes in every aspect of the elections, combined with the very obvious alive and kicking Ron Paul candidacy over the dead mainstream-supported ones, may lead to a successful brokered convention in which Ron Paul could actually win the nomination, afterall.

Hmmm, I like that: Ron Paul getting the nomination because of massive doubts of the entire voting process and the enthusiasm of people continuing to support Ron Paul and continuing to give $ to his campaign--may lead Ron Paul to a nomination victory in a brokered convention in which the delegates would realize that Ron Paul really was the favored, voted choice all along.

Okay, when the recount is finished, if Clinton has lost 7.4% of her statewide vote (which would make Obama the winner), I will eat my keyboard.
If you're so concerned about fraud, then prevent it in Florida and Feb 5th states. NH is over and no recount will change the perceptions it left.

A Baseball Bat Voting Machine Tea Party, taking swipes at any big metal thing that can stand-in as a voting machine, could be staged on the steps of every Registrar of Voters office in every county that uses electronic voting machines. Alert the media, get some press coverage...and instead of a fundraiser for Ron Paul, the $1 could go to the nonprofits that are trying to make headway in this fight. It's for America and all of the candidates.

There is no room for "voter innacuracies"
Humans make errors, so if there is an error during a hand count, the safety net is a second person counts and they cross-reference their findings for accuracy. If their numbers don't match perfectly, start again. We all know this is NOT the method that was used.
Machines don't make errors... they are programmed incorrectly, or are hacked. Considering what is at stake, I sure as hell hope Diebold programmed the things correctly. If they didn't, I say that they INTENDED not to, and purposefully dictated which candidates would be helped and which would be hindered by the inaccuracies. If the machines were hacked, someone (the hacker) surely INTENDED it.
Mistakes made on something this important are INEXCUSABLE... if errors were made, you have to assume they were made purposefully.

Pinpointing Republican Towns

I just got hold of some great information about Massachusetts. You might want to see if you can get similar statistics about your state from the Election Board. A news ad salesman was happy to provide the info to me. The towns with the most Republicans are rural and here they are:
Barnstable County: CHATHAM, Orleans
Essex: Boxford, Hamilton, Manchester, Topsfield, WENHAM
Norfolk: Cohasset, DOVER, Norolf
Plymouth: Duxbury
Worcester: Bolton
Towns in bold letters are the top three Republican towns. In all cases they are still outnumbered by Democrats. However it's important to locate places in Massachusetts where folks are even willing to consider voting for a Republican, otherwise you are just barking at the moon.
I want to raise $900 to place some Ron Paul cartoon - ads in local papers in these exact locations, with the dual purpose of increasing Ron Paul awareness and recruting some precinct leaders in those locations. Wanna chip in? We need you!

How about before you get yourself in a tizzy, we wait until the vote count is completed and then we can see how insignificant the differences are between the two counts.
And when you see that the new count doesn't sway the percentages per candidate in any shape or form, maybe you'll stop yelling voter fraud and conspiracy.

First error does not equal fraud
Now there were two precincts that had 10 % or so errors, and the errors were found during the recount, and were traced to explainable mistakes - this is a Proven FACT.
The rest of the machine count was within 0.5 % -generally this is not considered a problem. What error rate should we expect ? (remember it is IMPOSSIBILE to have a zero error rate. ) I suppose 0.1 % is better, given the recent elections, but there is nothing sinister here.
If you don't understand these things, you should educate yourself, before you start screaming fraud. It is just this attitude that costs RP votes.

I think you're on to something here
Yes, more than the media moneybomb, we need a vote count in public money surge. It will bring more attention to the problem, which is at the top of our problems with the USA. Without proper vote count, we cannot have a representative gov't. "They" will keep electing who "they" want...not who America wants. If big enough, the media may cover it. They will not likely cover a media blackout moneybomb as that is a slap in the face to themselves.
Yes, we need a "No machine/Count in public eyes" money surge. Interviews with Ron, the few they give him, will allow him to expand on this issue that he himself is quite concerned about. It would be a convenient lead in.
Both were actually Human Error
In one case Manchester ward 5, a worker included counts for Vice president (which apparently was on the ballot), and in Nashua ward 5, a wokermisunderstood what to do with a certain bin of ballots.
The machines seem to be Running 0.5 % undercount of the votes across the board, while the Human error has resulted in a significant overcount in a few wards. Overall, the overcount is still only 0.5%, but if I was running for counselman I'd be concerned.
Another interesting question is how many wards will have major error elsewhere, since it seems like poll workers have a problem using the machines sometimes.
BTW, I don't think it is too hard to get to be a preceinct poll worker, and then you can keep an eye on what happens.

Just like it is human error that most of the memory cards from the machines are missing and are said now to probably have been erased even though federal law states that all material in any vote must be obtained for no less than 22 months after any election.

I finally watched the HBO
I finally watched the HBO "Hacking Democracy" documentary last night. I do recommend it to others as it shows not only the subversive nature of the machines and the companies who provide them, but also the inept and incompetent oversight of the officials charges with keeping elections honest and transparent. Toward the end they show this incredible segment where a registrar in Florida actually has thrown out all their original and precinct signed machine tapes which are supposed to be part of the voting records. The investigators find them in the county's trash. When confronted, the officials don't seem to think there is a problem with any of it. Nothing ever really comes of it. Its maddening!
I think the bottom line is that if the people do not trust the voting system in place, it needs to be simplified back to straight paper ballots that are counted in the open to inspire trust again and assure fair and correct elections. Its not just fraud that is the problem but also our perception of the process. We must restore confidence in the system. After watching the show, I am very grateful to the various citizen activists who have been pushing for honest elections and acountability.
