Ask the John Birch Society to Endorse Ron Paul

I just sent an e-mail to the JBS requesting that they endorse Ron Paul for president. I cited his record on not raising taxes, limiting government, protecting the unborn and upholding the Constituition.

Most people that home school their kids do it to make sure they aren't taught that their religion isn't real.
I'm going to home school my kids because I want to be the one that tells them.

JBS does not endorse or support candidates or parties. We never have. We are an educational not for profit corporation teaching the virtues of sticking to the Constitution. Members educate themselves on the issues and vote accordingly.

The JBS is the kiss of death to candidates. They have been smeared in the MSM for decades, falsely associated with the KKK and other extreamist, hate groups. No body who wants RP to win would suggest this; at least no one who knows anything about how things work.

As a former chapter leader for the John Birch Society, I can assure you that nearly all, if not in fact all of the membership supports him. No official endorsement is actually needed by the council or headquarters for the membership to feel that way. Ron Paul receives a 100% rating from the JBS in every instance of their tallies of the constitutionality of votes made by congress. The website and their magazine "The New American" is chock full of favorable articles for Ron Paul. Trust me, the membership knows all about him. Also, most, if not all of the JBS membership are constitutionalists as is Ron Paul so his support is a shoe-in among the members. You'd be surprised at how many here on DP are members. I suspect that Jane from NH is. Just a guess Jane, I hope I didn't "out" you if that wasn't your wish.
The left and the press have a huge problem with the JBS dating all the way back to the early '60's smear attempt so an official endorsement may not necessarily be a good thing, even if it were possible. Of course, the smear was utterly false and was proven so by an investigation by the California state senate back in the '60's as well.

Their endorsement would scare off many voters due to their very undeserved public image and I suspect they know this.

talk about Ron Paul in a favorable light but they won't endorse a candidate outright ,they say their members are smart enough to know who to vote for .
