Thanks for your analysis of Dr. Ron Paul in your recent NRO article.
I have studied economics avidly for over a decade and I believe his fundamental understanding of economic principles dominates any other candidate in the race. Each other candidate is some form of big government warfare/welfare statist while Paul is presenting the ONLY free market, limited government position in this race.
Rather than Paul being a nut, I believe that the mainstream discussion that has evolved out of 90 years of big government intervention at home and abroad, essentially on the back of the American taxpayer, as well as future generations, is really where the nuts exist. To believe in legal plunder, in my mind, is the real lunacy.
Remember, natural rights are not granted by an all-powerful government, they are NATURAL, inherent in our existence as autonomous individuals. No amount of long-term government propaganda, no matter how pervasive it becomes, can change this fact.
So, yes, thanks for helping somewhat to dispel the foolish myth that Ron Paul is somehow a nut. The fact of the matter is he’s the only candidate who is NOT a nut!
Are you familiar with your strawman. Do you control his assets. Then you know that once you are in contract with the corporation(United States) you may be in violation of any of the 60,000,000 rules and regulations. A human being in posession of his person can choose to be in contract or not. Did you enter knowingly?
This is one of the best and most legitimate endorsements of Ron Paul yet. Thank you Mr. Luskin! With the NM governor and Jane Roe endorsements, RP is on a roll this week! With the Dow plunging and the economy nose diving to depression, Ron Paul is about to get a major boost!
I'm really disappointed when the first line in an article says Ron Paul can't win. If that's the case then the writer or author of the article should understand that he/she can't win either. neither their family nor friends. So stop writing about the economy or whatever the subject matter and go away. Go write about horse racing where the idea is more relevant to chance over mechanics. (forgive me if he's talking about vote rigging).
But we all believe and that is what matters. And in the event we are wrong we still made our case for change and it appears that we are having an effect on the perceptions of the people as a whole.
It started and we must continue on no matter how the pundits want to cover their own behinds.

Grudging respect
with a big dose of CYA for siding with the "nutty" RP.

Yes that is always the issue that we can't control
